Notice—it is not just Jerusalem they claim. Somehow Tel Aviv—a city that didn't even exist before it was built by Israelis into the vibrant metropolis is is today—belongs to Islam.

Actually TJ, we might have RICO, enemy combatants, "tried..." Now that's the ultimate word. You might not like any, including the patriot act, but one thing America has is a court of JUSTICE. Sure sometimes it fails, anything done by humans is subject to failure, but it is in place. If the first conviction isn't agreed upon, it can be appealed, again and again... What's different between this system of justice is beyond belief. Women who have the guts to even say they are raped are, get this, charged with adultery. In America, you have the right to be tried by a jury of your peers. How about say in oh, Pakistan? Enemy criminal combatants? They are found in civilian clothes are subject to immediate execution? Did you notice anything about the Iraq Wars? Those soldiers surrendered by the hundreds. Why? Because they would be treated as prisoners of war and would not be executed. I guess my friend, if I was going to fight someone and expect to be treated fairly (don't forget the Innocence Project) I'd fight the US of A!

This used to really annoy me when they used God to justify their actions. Islamists have no right to use God's name as they have no connection and no relationship with God - period!
But then I came to realise that when they refer to 'our Lord', they mean just that - 'their Lord', the Prince of Darkness. Allah IS their lord, the false god, the usurper, the deceiver. I have sometimes felt a bit of a jerk for saying the exact same thing. Not no mo I won't.

For islamic fanatics killing jews or proffessing hatred of jews is directly analogous to taking communion in that they feel that it inspires a feeling of oneness with the divine.

To be fair a more accurate comparison would be that for them killing jews or expressing hatred for jews is analogous to speaking in tounges or faith healing in that it has to do with an intensified connection to the divine beyond day to day religous observances. It is undoubtedly a religious experience for fanatics.

The kind of diety one could feel at one with while screeching "death to jews" I don't want to know about. It's a diety that has nothing to do with compassion, forgiveness or love and is alien to the original Zoroastrian, Jewish and Christian conceptions of the divine and man's relation to it.

While contemporary muslims have a range of relationships with the god Allah, for the original muslims and these current fanatics it's a war god and is as pagan as it is possible for a diety to be, however many bells and whistles were cobbled together from other faiths and tacked onto it.

During Operation Cast Lead Israel had the opportunity to destroy Hamas. Instead the army walked away before the job was done.
The so-called moderate leader of Hamas the other gangster group in the area will not recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland, yet Israel continues to provide them support.
It occurs to me that maybe part of the problem is that Israel's many self inflicted wounds are encouraging the muslims to believe that their defeat is possible.

Israel cannot wait for America to wake up. It is hopeless as long as Obama is in power and even if he wasn't I don't believe the situation would be much better.
