International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that armed men raided a church in Ouargla, Algeria on Wednesday tearing down the gate to the church’s compound and damaging the iron crucifix on the church’s roof.The Protestant Church of Ouargla in eastern Algeria was vandalized by an unknown number of armed men late Wednesday evening, the Protestant Church of Algeria (EPA) told ICC. After breaking through the gate, the church was ransacked and the crucifix rising high above the premises was dismantled.
“We heard noises on the terrace, but we could not get out because the threat was real. They could kill us,” said Pastor Mourad, who was inside the building with his wife and children, according to a statement released by the EPA. Afraid to leave the church compound on Wednesday night, Pastor Mourad reported the incident to the local police the next morning.
The Church of Ouargla is the only church in the region and has been recognized by the government since its establishment in 1958. Mourad has been repeatedly threatened and attacked since being ordained as pastor in 2007. In the summer of 2009 his wife was beaten and seriously injured by a group of unknown men. Then, in late 2011, heaps of trash were thrown over the compound walls while an angry mob shouted death threats at Pastor Mourad.
Aidan Clay, ICC Regional Manager for the Middle East, said, “Whether under the harsh laws imposed on Christians by the government or at the hands of angry mobs, Christians and their places of worship continue to be discriminated against or outright attacked in Algeria. We urge officials in the Ouargla province of Algeria to conduct an immediate investigation and arrest those responsible.”
Sadly: it may well be too late when the fat & complacent Christians of the U.S. & Europe wake up to the reality that the false "prophet" Mohammed meant what he said when he instructed his crazed followers to "kill the unbelievers".
The day will come when Muslims will wake up and get rid of their lying Imams. The day will come when Muslims will wake up and ransack their own mosques.

Can't stand crosses? This similarity between vampires and Muslims has never been studied by Western academia.
Do Muslims dislike garlic? Do they like blood? Oh, yeah they do.
US muz support the oppression of religious minorities in the demographic-territorial cess pools that they call their homelands. They reject there what they demand here.
The only time you really have arrests made in these cases - from Pakistan, through to Egypt and Algeria - is if there is an international outcry.
As in Pakistan and Egypt, they will probably find some way to blame the Christians for attacks on their own churches and property.

The best thing rights groups can say, is the crimes should be investigated and arrests made.
Then it will follow - in another report - that these attacks are carried out against Christians with impunity.

A year or two ago - some Algerian Christians were arrested and put before the court - for eating during the Ramadan fast.
A European Catholic priest was jailed there for several years - for holding 'unauthorized' Christian prayers in his own home - with illegal migrants who had found their way into the country.
We are just imagining the rosy tolerant Mubarek-Egypt - similarly a Coptic priest was arrested for holding an 'unauthorized' prayer vigil over a man who had just suffered a stoke - in his home, with his family.

Its no wonder groups like CAIR are so afraid, because most US Muslims hail from these parts - where this treatment of the other is the norm.
Many unsurprisingly feel suspicious of equality of rights. They probably reason that we have similar dhimmis plans for them.
Many Muslims argue that the Islamic jizya tax for Christians and others is 'fair' - it must follow - that they believe that the subjugation of Christians and others - is also 'fair'.

Somewhere in the *real* paradise, his long-ago non-Muslim ancestors are rejoicing and high-fiving at the fact that their distant descendant (or, possibly, his parents or grandparents) abandoned the Islam that at some point had been forced upon the family. And they are praying most fervently that he and his wife and his little flock of indigenous Algerian Christians, all of them either apostates from Islam or the children of same, will have the courage and faith to hold firm no matter what.

DDA--Many years ago, I met a very eager Moroccan Christian who insisted on using just his last name (his first initial was M). I asked him if his first name was Muhammad, and did he ever hem and haw and look embarrassed. He went on to say that he wasn't yet naturalized in the Western country of his domicile, and couldn't legally change his name. The best I could do was remind him that Paul's first convert in Athens was named after the pagan Greek god of drunkenness,so he shouldn't feel too bad, but it didn't seem to register.

One of the ugliest things about this constant litany of Muslim crimes is how numbing it is.
*Of course* I am horrified by this. But I'm not shocked.
How can I be? This is Muslim business as usual—and this terrible headline could have described a ravening Muslim mob in Egypt, or Pakistan, or Nigeria just as well as Algeria.
