Sana'a - Yemeni Nobel Peace laureate Tawakkul Karman has received a death threat from Muslim militants for alleged blasphemy, local media reported Friday.Karman, a prominent pro-democracy activist, received the threat in a short text message sent to her mobile phone demanding that she repent or face death, reported independent website Change, quoting a statement issued by her office.
The threat was the second sent to Karman in less than a week, according to the report.
Karman had received a similar threat via a message sent by an anonymous person claiming to be an affiliate of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula....

Death threats are on the rise. This issue should be taken more seriously. Any person who dares make such threats must be identified and, at least, put in jail for the rest of his miserable life. A preemptive strike would be a better solution.

There is no such thing as "moderate" Islam. If you are moderate, you're dead.
Muslims wanting to terminate other Muslims (who really of sense and knowledge cares that much anymore what the specific reason is; it's always some ridiculous thing) is almost as much of a given as Muslims wanting to terminate non-Muslims. The long and the short of it here is that Islam is the world's most dysfunctional religion (no other religion comes even close) and its control-freak aspects are not merely annoying but often lethal.
So sick of Islam. It's a burden to everyone, even for those who don't realize it's a burden. Bottom line: A world without Islam would be a better world. Anyone disputing this is a liar or an ignoramus. It would still be a world with many problems, but at least the Islamic monster wouldn't be regularly creating more and more of them.

Is *anyone* surprised by this? There have only been eight Muslim Nobel Prize winners—one of them was stabbed for "blasphemy", and one was assassinated outright.
Of course, Tawakkul Karman herself has ugly links to the Muslim Brotherhood—but just being an uppity woman in Dar-al-Islam might be enough to garner her death threats.

It's difficult to see how this instance of terrorism could be explained by "occupation," "poverty," "lack of education," Western "colonialism," etc. It is readily and effectively explained when we consider the jihadists' fervent belief in their stated goal of establishing sharia rule (or more of it) over all people.
