Underwear jihadist gets life of prison dawah

An “unrepentant would-be mass murderer who views his crimes as divinely inspired and blessed.”

“Nigerian underwear bomber gets life in prison for trying to blow up jetliner on Christmas 2009,” by Ed White for the Associated Press, February 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):

DETROIT – A Nigerian man on a suicide mission for al-Qaida was sentenced Thursday to life in prison for attempting to blow up an international flight with a bomb in his underwear as the plane approached Detroit on Christmas 2009.

The mandatory punishment for Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the well-educated son of a wealthy banker, was never in doubt after he surprised the courtroom and pleaded guilty to all charges on the second day of trial last fall.

Abdulmutallab sat with his hands folded under his chin, leaning back in his chair as the sentence was announced.

In October, Abdulmutallab said the bomb in his underwear was a “blessed weapon” to avenge poorly treated Muslims around the world. It failed to fully detonate aboard an Amsterdam-to-Detroit flight but caused a brief fire that badly burned his groin. Passengers pounced on Abdulmutallab and forced him to the front of Northwest Airlines Flight 253 where he was held until the plane landed minutes later.

Abdulmutallab, 25, talked freely to the FBI about his desire to commit martyrdom for his Islamic faith. In 2009, months before the attack, he traveled to Yemen in a desperate bid to see Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born cleric and one of the best-known al-Qaida figures, according to the government. He told investigators that his mission was approved after a three-day visit with his mentor.

Al-Awlaki and the bomb maker were killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen last year, just days before Abdulmutallab’s trial. At the time, President Barack Obama publicly blamed al-Awlaki for the terrorism plot.

Abdulmutallab is an “unrepentant would-be mass murderer who views his crimes as divinely inspired and blessed, and who views himself as under a continuing obligation to carry out such crimes,” prosecutors said in a court filing last week.

Underwear bomber misunderstands Islam, says he was "proud to kill in the name of Allah"

    ……………………

Never trust Muslims who tell you they have a “blessed weapon” in their shorts…

Of course, now he’s whining that a life sentence is “cruel and unusual punishment””but blowing up innocent Infidels is *just fine*.

“…and make him wear the same dirty underwear, day in and day out, as added punishment.”

AAs with other troglodytes this would probably give him immense pleasure.

    Then they came for me

In our society today we have to remember those who are not spoken about getting persecuted for the Gospel, God will reward amazingly. Here is an article about those who are unnoticed.

ok we’re done with this maggot now let’s move on. Where’s the trial on the Ft Hood jihadist? Anyone heard anything about our favorite ‘soldier of allah’? I’ve been wrestling with this; should we roll the bastard on to the trapdoor before we hang him or; should we just set the bastard on top of the trapdoor without his wheelchair? Personnally I like the latter as it has a touch of comic relief.

No doubt the prison system will give him a Koran so he can read the 164 jihad alas day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, generation after generation.

He’s a huge success…Look how well Allah is taking care of him, free room, free food, free medical and dental care, free sex if he plays his cards right, and he will never have to work another day in his life…Allah be praised, or something like that…

Hasan is not going to be executed, even though he definitely deserves it.

Most likely he is going to be found not guilty by reason of insanity, and will live to a ripe old age in a mental institution.

Also likely is that he may be found guilty and sentenced to life in prison (and live to a ripe old age in a federal penitentiary.

Less likely, but still possible, is that he may be given the death sentence, and still live to a ripe old age in a federal penitentiary.

Remember, federal executions have to be approved by the President. Can you imagine B. Hussein Obama approving any execution, especially the execution of a muslim?

When Hassan’s “membership card” was made available to the public, the “media” concluded that SOA meant “soldier” of Allah.

I’m not sure why they came to that conclusion, but:

YUSUFALI: “He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things.”
PICKTHAL: He is the Omnipotent over His slaves, and He is the Wise, the Knower.
SHAKIR: And He is the Supreme, above His servants; and He is the Wise, the Aware.

Samil Basayev signed at least one message with “Basayev, slave of Allah”.

…..not necessarily…then he’d be a “martyr”….it’s best he languish for the rest of a long life, perhaps on a diet of pork in various forms, washed down with murky water collected and labeled as such from the Israeli side of the Jordan River…….perhaps pickled pigs’ feet slowly becoming pungent under his bunk.

    Food for his thoughts.

Castration is an alternate consideration, then he could wear a headscarf, or maybe one of those all-encompassing black shrouds for …….the duration.

Youssef, I’m a fan of your posts, and hope to read more.

But, don’t be so naive about any “lingering Christian conscience” in the West. Our leaders are so clueless about Islamic persecution of Dhimmi that they probably think that Egypt’s Christians are the products of British missionaries in the 19th century rather than of Mark the Evangelist’s labors in the First. And, since “Third World” peoples are supposed to be “authentic” (whatever the heck that’s supposed to mean), our leaders probably think that Christians infecting the pristine lands of Islam and revolutionary socialism are getting what they deserve.

I’ve even run into “educated” folks who think that just because a few older Tangier and Halabi Jews speak a peculiar dialect of Spanish, there weren’t any Jews in North Africa and the Middle East between 70 and 1492 A.D.!

My guess is that you’re a Copt or from some other Christian community of northern Africa or Southwest Asia who’s moved to the West. So, a heartfelt welcome. But if you’re in any kind of educational work, you’ve got a big job cut out for you here in a post-Christian West that is positively arrogant in its ignorance.
