In Islam, zakat -- the alms required of every Muslim -- can and should be given to further the jihad. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that there are so many jihad charities.

A Canadian Muslim youth organization has been stripped of its charitable status after a Canada Revenue Agency investigation linked it to a Saudi-based group that allegedly financed Islamist terror campaigns.An audit of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth revealed the charity had developed ties to a number of organizations that allegedly helped fund al-Qaeda operations around the world and failed to comply with a number of standards required for charities to maintain their status.
In a warning letter to the Toronto-area organization last summer, CRA director-general Cathy Hawara said “our analysis of the Organization’s operations has led the CRA to believe…[it] was established to support the goals and operations of its parent organization, located in Saudi Arabia, which has been alleged to support terrorism.”
WAMY, known in Canada for running Islamic camps and pilgrimages for youth, was stripped of its status on Feb. 11. It failed to keep proper books and records, maintain a specific charitable purpose and distinguish itself from parent organization WAMY (Saudi Arabia), which had been alleged to support terrorist activity, the CRA audit said.
“The audit findings did not reveal any apparent separation between the activities of WAMY (Saudi Arabia) and WAMY, with all related financial and operating positions being made by WAMY (Saudi Arabia),” it reads. “This leads to a reasonable inference that WAMY has little or no independent function; therefore it cannot be concluded that it is carrying out its own charitable activities for which it is registered.”...
In 2003, counter-terrorism officials in the U.S. said the WAMY organization there had been founded by bin Laden’s nephew Abdullah. Canada’s branch, which had an office in Mississauga, Ont., was operating under the supervision of the U.S. wing, according to the group’s own literature.
Toronto charity lawyer Mark Blumberg applauded the CRA for its thoroughness when it comes to auditing charities and revoking their status, if need be, but he says more can be done to prevent mismanagement of charities with respect to terrorism ties or money laundering....

THE REALITY OF FRIENDSHIP IN ISLAM
Friendship is only possible in Islam if both parties remain in the religion forever. For Muhammad has ordered that Muslims who leave Islam must be killed.

Islam is poisonous to human relationships. Whether a person is born into Islam or becomes a Muslim through conversion, they must remain in the religion for the rest of their lives or risk being killed by their former Muslim “brothers and sisters”. And these are supposedly the words of the creator of this vast and beautiful universe? Not bloody likely! Let us consider Verse 009.023 of the Quran and its meaning for a moment before delving further into the topic of friendship in Islam.
In Verse 009.023 of the Quran, Muhammad is claiming that God has commanded him to inform “his followers” that they must rank Islam ahead of their own family in importance. In other words, Muhammad has said that Muslims should virtually disown their own family members should they simply choose not to remain Muslim. At minimum the family member is to be heartlessly ostracized.
Can you imagine being a Muslim parent or child and having to obey this verse should the reality arise within your own family? This tragic situation has arisen within millions of Muslims families throughout the centuries, and millions have been killed by their own families due to Islamic apostacy laws. Let us now consider friendship in Muhammad’s Islam:
There can be no true friendship between Muslims. Friendship in Islam is contingent upon continued adherence to the religion. In other words, if a Muslim simply chooses to leave Islam for his own reasons, his Muslim friends must consider him a traitor to the Muslim Ummah, an enemy of God, a worthless failure and an Apostate that should be killed.
Let us now further consider the reality of friendship amongst Muslims themselves. This topic concerned me greatly when I was a Muslim. For inside I knew the answers to the questions that I was asking myself…. and the truth was deeply disturbing. Some of the questions that I asked myself were as follows:
If I were to leave Islam would my Muslim friends have to dump ME?
Does this mean that if one of my Muslim friends chose to leave Islam that I would have to dump THEM?
The answers to these fundamental questions helped open the door for me and leave Muhammad’s Islam. These and other “Islamic realities” led me to a critical study of Islam that helped free me from its perverse falsehoods...

Information about WAMY and it's founders was publicly available in Terrorist Hunter, published in 2003 and known to the writer of that book and those she informed long before that.
Why is it taking so long for the justice and ancillary systems of civilized countries to do something about these terrorist support networks.
Surveilance of mosques is essential but as long as groups like wamy ISNA, NAIT and CAIR are permitted to exist with our borders, the surveillance of mosques necessary in the first place.
While being stripped of its charitable status is a good start, how about criminal charges, or is this too politically incorrect? Send a message by arresting the founders/leaders of this organization. Furthermore, it is high time that Saudi Arabia be made to account for its terrorist funding activities. Close the embassy and all consulates and expel all Saudi diplomats. Close the Canadian embassy in that vile country, stop all oil imports...in short, cut all ties with the Sauds. While we're at it, close CAIR and arrest and/or deport all its officers where applicable.

If only the world would wake up, take courage, and do the same. How much non-Muslim money is funding jihad? Mohammad told his followers that jizya tribute (plunder of non-Muslims) is a source of livelihood for them and that zakat (required percentage of non-exempt income given yearly) supports the umma (Muslim world) and jihad/spread of Islamic domination. So, even the "charity" given to poor Muslims (by zakat, even from plunder) may be subject to zakat. Islam is a closed and self-perpetuating system that lives off non-Muslims and keeps the wealth within Islam. How can we give such seditious and political organizations tax-exempt status for being "charitable?"

The *next* list should be the list of suspect mosques - mosques known to have been attended by persons subsequently apprehended plotting mass-murderous Jihad; mosques whose imams or congregants have been caught engaging in immigration fraud, or fraud of other descriptions, or organised crime, or people-trafficking/ sex-slaving, or 'honor' murders whether attempted or achieved, or whose imams or congregants have been loud and insistent in demanding that aspects of sharia such as polygyny *ought* to be accommodated by Canadian law, or who have been caught - whether openly, or behind closed doors by clandestine surveillance - expressing virulent antisemitic incitement, etc.
And it might be interesting to see what would be revealed, were those suspect mosques all to be suddenly and simultaneously surprise-raided, and searched from basement to minaret tip, with special attention paid to the possibility of hidden safes, false floors, false ceilings, hidden rooms, and sniffer dogs brought in, dogs capable of detecting explosives, drugs, cadavers, whilst forensic IT experts seized all computers found in the raid and forensic accountants went through the finances of the mosque, the imams, the governing board or whatever organisation runs the place.
They're not churches. They're not synagogues. They're not like the Temples of Buddhists, Hindus, Taoists.

In other parts of the world they function betimes as arsenals, and magazines, and prisons, and torture chambers; as places for the manufacture of explosives.
