Gaza jihadists fire 40 rockets into Israel, wound 8 people

While Obama tells the Palestinian jihadists to hold off on their statehood push until after the election, some jihadists are making the job of deceiving the kuffar more difficult -- or at least they would be doing so in a sane world, but in today's West the kuffar are everlastingly credulous.

"Gaza militants fire rockets at Israeli south; casualties, damage reported," by Yanir Yagna, Gili Cohen and Avi Issacharoff for Haaretz, March 8:

Rocket barrage from Gaza continues. Over 40 rockets were fired from Gaza to Israel’s southern cities and towns. Eight people were injured, some damage was reported.
Rockets had also fallen in Be’er Sheva, Ashdod, Kiryat Malachi, Netivot, and Ashkelon; these rockets either fell in open area or were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system, causing no damage, or casualties.

Altogether, the IDF reports that the Iron Dome system intercepted six rockets.
A rocket that fell in a town in the Be’er Tuvia Regional Council caused damage to a house, but no casualties.

The Israeli air force, [sic] reports that it attacked three sites in Gaza where rocket launchers were being prepared to fire at Israeli towns.

One person was seriously wounded by a mortar shell that exploded in the Eshkol Regional Council, and two more were moderately and lightly hurt. The three were evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.

Earlier Friday, two other persons were wounded in a car accident caused after a Grad rocket fell near the southern Israeli city of Ashdod. Three more Israelis were lightly wounded when they fell trying to reach bomb shelters when the alarm sounded.

Several Grad rockets were fired toward the southern Israeli city of Ashdod - two were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system, and one exploded in an open area near the city. There were no casualties but slight damage was done to a house.

More rockets were fired at Be'er Sheva, some exploded in open areas others were intercepted by Iron Dome. The anti-missile system also successfully intercepted rockets that were fired toward Ashkelon....

These "FREEDOM FIGHTERS" target children, civilians anybody and everybody. They need to be stopped and disabled and they must be made to fear Israel and the USA until a new generation is raised to learn what is right and what is wrong. Basically they have to learn that ISLAM is the problem. The way I see it there is no way but only intelligent, directed military force can do that. I am afraid we are too far away from reality so we are not capable of doing it. First enabler OBAMA has to go and hope we'll have a NORMAL MAN as a president who can see who and what the enemy is. ISLAM. I am afraid it is getting too late for our FREEDOM.

Perhaps it's time for a disproportional response from Israel for having its territory regularly targeted by Hamas. In short, why not level Gaza? After all, civilized societies should take so much from the barbarian and then no more.

At one time Israel would attend to her neighbourly nuisance, in line with the rest of the advanced world. But the world has lurched firmly towards the Left.

Now Israel is forced to turn inward with the siege mentality of Fortress Fruitcake, which does little more than buy time as the defenders go under.

This is the latest in a line of critical concessions made by the civilised world to appease Islam. And more, a shameless confession to future generations that our suicidal liberal democratic politeness demanded we allow in the enemy before pretending to shut the gates.

I cannot understand why the Israelis put up with this - for sympathy? This is war, but launched by only one side and that side loves it. It surely would be easy for the Israelis to implement an effective deterrence and without even an invasion. Are they forever trying to prove they are better than the murderous Muslim terrorists by risking their own blown up to placate mindless European opinion?

It surely would be easy for the Israelis to implement an effective deterrence and without even an invasion.

Electricity. Food. Fuel oil. Water. Sewage. To name few choke points the Fakestinians rely on Israel for.

Here's a summary of the above options:

Sewage: They let all of their shit run into the Med and into their streets, so no effect.

Water: They can drill for fresh water supplies, or maybe, use some of that islamic science to build desalination plants...Ooops, is that un-islamic?

Food: Nope, not a problem in this department. (The Gaza bedouins are the fattest people in the Middle East.)

Fuel oil: Diesel fuel runs their electric plants. Where does this diesel fuel come from?

Fresh barrage of Gaza rockets strike Israel's south:

Another barrage of rockets was fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel on Saturday morning. The Iron Dome system intercepted a number of rockets over Be'er Sheva. Rocket warning sirens also sounded in Ashdod.

Since Friday, a total of more than 60 rockets have been fired at Israel from Gaza.

On Friday, over 40 rockets were fired from Gaza into southern Israel. Eight people were injured and some damage was reported.

I wonder what would happen if Israel fired blindly into Gaza; that is take off the sights from their weapons. Isn't this exactly what the Palestinians do each time they fire their rockets into Israel, where they could land on schools and hospitals. Are we waiting for this to happen so that we (Israel) can truly eradicate Gaza's leaders and terrorists?

Blindfold Israeli soldiers and allow them to fire an equal number of rockets into Gaza and see where they land. Nothing could be fairer than this. What reasonable person could say that this is unfair and a criminal act. I would just love to hear the response from the media and every other appeasing soft-in-the head Palestinian supporter.

Oh, film it so the world can see that this is tit-for-tat.

The people in Gaza must not understand how peace is suppose to work. Clearly they are not interested in peace.

Then when Israel returns fire the world is going to blame Israel for it all. Islam doesn't want peace, they want domonation over the entire world.

You have the right idea, though it is not Israel but Western civilisation that should grow a spine and set aside democratic politeness for long enough to ruthlessly and effectively eradicate the threats posed by the dysfunctional ideology to freedom and progress.

Although history records Islams expansion as one filled with death and destruction, it also gives a clue by showing that this belief system invariably shrinks into retreat whenever its intended victims demonstrate their capacity for resistance with equal savagery.

So, let's first get the definitions right, because democracy adores details, and then delete an Islamic airport for a hijacked plane. No questions asked, just do it. Then respond to a random missile with a score, a town for a suicide bomb and a city for a car bomb...do it once, twice, and however many times it takes to persuade Allah's devotees that Western Democracy no longer protects the rights of those that wish to destroy her.

Sounds great but back to reality, where it becomes a thought crime to consider adequate measures when our craven political and media leaders have imposed a Fortress Fruitcake mindset upon Western civilisation.

It's easy to say things like this ... until you get to Israel and understand the dilemma that the Israelis are in. When we made level-gaza type comments, Israelis looked at us like we were dumb Americans. And we soon realized that when practically the whole world is against you, you have to be really careful about what you say and do. Anyone can boycott Israel without causing a lot of difficulty for themselves. The Israelis have to be so careful not to step on anyone's toes and when everyone is so biased against them anyway, well ... it's only getting worse.

So while I am definitely a level-Gaza type of person (my father suggested that the Israelis line up rows of bulldozers and start moving slowly across Gaza, to give the Arabs enough time to get to Egypt safely), I also understand and recognize the difficult position that the Israelis are in. I think it is going to take a terrible catastrophe before they feel justified in using "disproportionate force" ... or it's going to take a lot of us letting them know that we support them and have their back and believe in their right to defend themselves.

Yes.

And if you look at the talkbacks to what might be called jihad-related articles in Jerusalem Post, Israel National News and a couple of others, I think that that is starting to happen,.

There are posters from all over - mostly identifying as Gentiles - revealing that they have woken up to the Jihad against the Jews (and that it is a subset of Global Jihad Against Everything Not-Islam). Every now and again I see *Indian* posters chipping in - Islamosavvy Indian posters.

I have been reading Jerusalem Post talkbacks since August 2006 (the Hezbollah-Israel war) and I think there has definitely been an shift; I think more and more of the non-Muslim commenters there have understood what Islam is.

That has to start translating into more pressure put on politicians in various countries, to *support* Israel.

There is a gentleman from the Uk who occasionally posts here. BAck in January 2009 when Israel was giving jihad fortress Gaza a well-deserved drubbing, there were - of course - noisy and aggressive protests by the pro-'Palestinian' pro-Jihad crowd, outside the Israeli embassy in London. The UK gentleman, though, had a bit of 'inside' knowledge. He knew someone who worked at the embassy, and he said that during that same period, he had information that their mailbox was simply overflowing with messages of support from ordinary Britons, with the general message being - 'the b*st*rds deserve, keep on kicking their azzes, well done!'

So, pursuant to your posting, I would encourage all persons here reading this, in early March 2012, to write, phone or email the Israeli embassy in your country, and express wholehearted support for their right to defend themselves - ACTIVELY defend themselves - against the neverending genocidal Jihad.

I have done this sort of thing myself in the past - for example, the moment the news broke about the 'Mavi Marmara' 'flotilla' affaire, I sent an email post-haste to the Israeli ambassador in Australia, expressing total support for and understanding of the actions of the IDF. Then I sent letters to the Australian PM and Foreign Minister, letting them know that I expected Australia to side with Israel and to support Israel's right of self-defence against the Jihad. I was pretty scathing about the Useful Idiots and (non-Muslim) Jew-haters who were on board the Mavi Marmara to act as human shields for out-and-out Jew-hating jihadist thugs and expressed a total lack of sympathy for the deceased thugs *and* for their deluded - or malevolent - human shields.

The more such letters or email notes they get, the stronger a position Israel will be in, vis a vis assorted non-Muslim states.

What happens if. for example, the Australian Foreign Minister hauls the Israeli ambassador to his country, onto the carpet, to criticise his country for supposedly violating the 'human rights' of the Poooor Persecuted Palestinians by conducting too vigorous a response against the incessant shelling from Gaza; and the Ambassador responds by informing him that he (the Ambassador) has received several thousand letters from ordinary Australians, the vast majority of them identifying as non-Jews, who are fully in support of Israel's actions vis a vis the Gaza Jihad gangs, etc? And what if the Foreign Minister - and his Shadow in Opposition - have just discovered a similar number of letters in their own in-trays, on the same subject? It has to have *some* effect.

IA further note. I think we have to assume that, sooner or later, Israel may have to go into Gaza - and hit them even harder than was done in 2009.

My advice to all Islamo-informed 'FRiends of Israel' organisations, both Jewish and Gentile? - start planning NOW for that eventuality (or, for that matter, if Israel suddenly does drop some HE down the chimneys of Iran's nuclear bunkers). All the counter-jihad organisations and fledgling political parties should have a small team working on the statements they will make and the rallies they will hold - and the placards and posters they will print - NOW.

The trick would be to have *our* mass rallies - **in support of Israel, in support of the Jews, and explicitly denouncing the genocidal Jew-hatred that saturates the Ummah and drives the Jihad against the Jewish state of Israel** - all prepared, ready to be out on the campuses, in front of our seats of government, and in front of the Israeli embassy or consulate, the *moment* the news breaks.

The goal? - when the 'Kill da Jooz' mob turns up at the Israeli Embassy they should find several thousand Friends of Israel - preferably most of them large, able-bodied males - already peacefully - and immovably - assembled.

Absolutely! There are so many more people who are understanding the Israeli's right to defend themselves and this really means a lot to the Israelis. When they found out that we were in Israel because we wanted to bless them and support them, they were amazed. When everyone is against you, it's pretty refreshing to come across someone (anyone!) who says that they love and accept you because you are Jewish, instead of hating you for the same reason!
