According to the prosecution, Shuman – an avid viewer of Al-Jazeera, Al-Quds and Al-Manar TV stations – was frustrated by what he perceived as the unfair treatment of Palestinians in IDF checkpoints, and especially in Qalandiya, decided to kill the soldier....

And what does this "unfair treatment" consist of? Why, trying to assure that that no "Palestinian" gets past the checkpoints armed and able to injure and murder Israelis-*just* as Shuman himself did.
Don't expect Shuman to grasp the irony here, though—like most Muslims, he doesn't believe that it is ever acceptable for Jews to protect themselves against Muslim violence.
As for Al-Jazeera itself, just look at some of the clueless reaction to their programming from those in the West:
