A Sunday morning bombing outside the headquarters of a leading Christian denomination in northern Nigeria exploded what has been a brief season of calm in the Plateau State capital, Jos. The Nigerian-based terrorist group Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the attack Sunday, which killed four and severely injured at least 38. In a tactic now familiar to victims of Boko Haram, a suicide bomber loaded a vehicle with explosives, and then drove through the security gate of the Church of Christ in the Nations (COCIN) headquarters, which includes offices, a church, and classrooms. The bomber apparently planned to crash the gate and detonate his vehicle inside the sanctuary, where hundreds had gathered for worship. Instead, the car’s tire blew and the vehicle hit a motorcycle, detonating only yards away from the church building.
The dead include a woman crushed by the vehicle explosion, a woman who only a week ago relocated to Jos after being displaced by similar attacks on Christians in Yobe State farther north, and a an 18-month-old child. I was going to make some quip about how you always get a flat on the worst possible occasions, until I realized this vicious Jihadist had still managed to murder three innocent people, including an 18-month-old child.

He wanted pure Islamic Sharia for Nigeria and thought that his act of ISLAM INSPIRED MUSLIM TERRORISM was a legit way of going about getting it. Understandable. Was it not Muhammed himself who proudly boasted - "I have been made victorious through terror!" ?? Why low and behold, yes it was!

The low-scale ethnic/religious cleansing of Northern Nigeria continues. Despite the best attempts by the Muslim savages in Northern Nigeria, Christianity continues to thrive in Northern Nigeria.
How can the Mohammedans of Northern Nigeria still not see the impotency of Islam and their god?
Expect to hear them(Muslims) blame injustice, unfair revenue allocation, poverty, and Christians for the attacks. Being a Muslim means never having to take responsibility for one's failures.

I have followed Mindy Belz's reporting for World Magazine (a conservative Christian news mag similar to Time, except Christian in its orientation) for years - including from Afghanistan and more recently from Nigeria. She is very courageous, not content with secondary sources but going to where the action is and talking to those involved. she is also accurate and rational, see and reports without hysteria or hype.
