"Youths reciting anti-Semitic slogans" beat up 12-year-old Jewish boy in Paris

Remember: "youths" is mainstream media code for Islamic supremacist thugs in France. Does anyone in France have the courage to stand up against Islamic antisemitism in that country? Pamela Geller points out: "This 12-year-old Jewish boy was beaten near the city's Ozar Hatorah school, part of the same educational network as the Toulouse school that was the site of the deadly jihadist shooting attack last week."

PARIS (AP) — A 12-year-old boy was beaten outside his Jewish school in Paris by youths reciting anti-Semitic slogans, school officials said, amid high security and tensions in France following killings of Jewish children and a rabbi last week.
The boy did not suffer serious injuries.

Both the school shooting and this week's beating involved the Ozar Hatorah network of Jewish schools.

Emotions have been raw in France, especially within the half-million-strong Jewish community, since a gunman shot a rabbi and his two sons, 3 and 5 years old, and the 8-year-old daughter of the principal of the Ozar Hatorah School in the southern city of Toulouse on March 19.

A radical Muslim gunman named Mohamed Merah claimed responsibility for that attack and killing three French paratroopers, before he was shot to death by police.

The 12-year-old boy was hit and punched in the back of his head Monday afternoon as he left the Ozar Hatorah School in southeast Paris, the school's human resources director, Katia Normal, said Tuesday. She said the aggressors were two boys a couple of years older than the victim who recited anti-Semitic slogans.

It happened about 100 meters from the entrance and therefore out of sight of the police officers guarding the school.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy ordered security increased at Jewish and Muslim schools and synagogues after last week's shooting....

Why Muslim schools? Who is beating up Muslim children?

Jean-Paul Amoyelle, president of the Ozar Hatorah network in France, lamented Monday's beating.
"There was a feeling of solidarity for our schools after this drama (in Toulouse)," he told The Associated Press. "Now I fear that this has provoked a hostile reaction, shown by the attitude of these boys who called him dirty Jew and beat him up."

So—"tensions" over a Muslim murdering Jewish children leads to Muslims beating up a Jewish child?

This sounds just like the "tensions" in Egypt, where the violent targeting of Copts by Muslims leads to the violent targeting of Copts by Muslims; and just like the "tensions" in Nigeria, where the murder of Christians by Muslims leads to the...uh...murder of Christians by Muslims...and like the "tensions" in Pakistan, where the kidnapping of Hindu girls by Muslims...uh...hmmmm...

These "tensions" always seem to run in rather predictable directions...

Exactly the point. *No one* is targeting Muslims, nor calling for them to be targeted. This supposed equivalence is witless and insulting.

The people who showed solidarity with the Jewish schools *are not* the same vile Mohammedans who feel both inspired and emboldened by Mohammed Merah.

And—God help us—there will be others bedsides these brutal "youths" who beat up this Jewish boy. Many Muslims are hailing the vile Mohammed Merah as *a hero*.

Can you imagine the fear that was in the mind of a 12yr. old? He isn't doing anything but is surrounded by Muslim bullies and punched. Where were the guards. Why does a young man have to worry that the big kids were going to beat him up. Were the Muslim youths students at this school? The hatred towards Jews, Christians (kaffir) is taught early. You have to hold the parents responsible for this action. When you are brought up on hatred you reap violence. Shouldn't the parents sue the Muslims for what they do, especially when they are taught hatred at home and at the mosque every Friday. You reap what you sew. When I was a boy, we took care of the bullies. They weren't allowed to hurt others because we put a stop to it.

I doubt it, Ronald. My understanding is that these are specifically Jewish schools, rather than just purely academic schools run by Jews—as is the case, say, with so many Catholic parochial schools. I doubt this was any sort of simply bullying, no matter how nasty.

In any case, though, the boy's assailants must have been observing the school, to see just how far from the gates they had to be to be out of sight and hearing of the police guards.

Disgusting. That a primary school should even need to be guarded by the police is appalling—and that police guards are *insufficient* to protect these kids from being attacked by violent Muslims even more so.

It would be interesting to discover what level of security Jewish schools and other visibly Jewish institutions in places like Australia and Canada are having to install...as compared to what sorts of security measures (if any) they deployed in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Because the big rise in the Muslim presence in Australia and Canada has, so far as I know, only really happened from the late 1970s onward.

Pursuant to my posting above.

My question about how much and what sort of security measures Jewish schools and synagogues in Australia and Canada (and I would add, New Zealand/ Aotearoa to that list) are having to install today, as opposed to what (if any) they thought necessary 40, 50, 60 years ago, is deadly serious, and I hope that some of our Jewish posters and lurkers from the relevant countries, or olim who had experience there before going to Israel, may be able to answer it

I don't know, because it hasn't been dealt with in anything that I've happened across in print or on the internet (of course, I can't check *all* sites).

I am Australian. If my fellow Australians who are Jewish are being harassed or threatened in any way shape or form, on Australian soil, by Muslims, or if they are frightened enough to be having to beef up security measures, or if there is any part of any Australian city or university campus that has become dangerous for someone who is visibly Jewish, **I want to know about it** so that I can help kick up a very big stink about it.
