Robert Spencer: Framing Geller and Spencer For Murder

Over at Atlas Shrugs I discuss the Islamic supremacists' persistent attempts to demonize and marginalize freedom fighters by claiming that our defense of human rights leads to violence:

Shaima Alawadi, murdered in her home, and for awhile, it was the fault of Pamela Geller and me. A hijab-wearing mother, in death Alawadi quickly became much more prominent than she had ever been in life. Paired with Trayvon Martin, she was made into the symbol of allegedly rampant anti-Muslim bigotry in the U.S., and the impetus for “Hoodie and Hijab” marches that protested the supposed dire predicament of racial and religious minorities in America today. There was only problem with all this handwringing and finger-pointing: Alawadi’s murder was not a hate crime at all.
This revelation Friday morning, along with the release of information that made it look much more likely that Alawadi was a victim of honor killing than of murderous “Islamophobia,” stopped a few of the more circumspect among the Islamic supremacists: the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) tweeted a claim that it had always had doubts about the “hate crime” claim. Islamic supremacist writer Reza Aslan, however, who had initially blamed Pamela Geller and me for the murder, reacted with scornful indifference to the news disproving his claims, and continued to promote Hoodie and Hijab rallies.

This was not the first time Islamic supremacists have tried to frame us for murder. And that fact in itself is illuminating of the Islamic supremacist strategy to suppress free speech about Islam and jihad in the U.S. today. Islamic supremacists never miss a chance to position Muslims as victims so as to deflect attention away from jihad terror and try to place Islam and the Muslim community beyond reasonable scrutiny. One way they do this is to portray freedom fighters as spreading “hate” – an incongruous claim to try to hang on those defending human rights and Constitutional freedoms against Sharia encroachment.

Thus Islamic supremacists are avid to find “Islamophobic” hate crimes that Pamela Geller and I and other freedom fighters supposedly motivated. And in the absence of any, they invent them.

Last August, a young Muslim in New Jersey named Kashif Pervaiz was charged with the murder of his wife, Nazish Noorani, who was shot dead while pushing her three-year-old son in a stroller on a street in Boonton, New Jersey. Pervaiz, according to the New York Post, initially told police that “three men, one black, one white and one of an uncertain race, called the couple terrorists before opening fire.” That was enough for police to investigate the possibility that the shooting was an anti-Muslim hate crime – that is, until Pervaiz began changing his story, and began to emerge as a suspect. Yet even as Pervaiz was starting to equivocate and spin ever-taller tales, Muslims began blaming Geller and me for the murder. A well-placed source even told me that Ibrahim Hooper of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was “salivating and waiting to jump all over” the Noorani murder story. “They are waiting to blame you for everything.”...

I am a retired Law Enforcement officer and pastor of a local assembly of Christians. For about the last 4yrs. I have studied the effect Islam has on the world and how it effects local groups of Christians. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and one in Theology as well as Religion. I am a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. I say all of that to make this point: I am quite capable of thinking for myself. Mr.Spencer and Ms. Geller couldn't make me murder a Muslim even if they wanted to. Like most of us who read their works and their web sites, we have never been influenced by them to hurt anyone. They have never even suggested that we should physically attack a Muslim. Those who say such a thing are either ignorant of their work or they are spreading a lie. Their's is an intellectual work, not a physical one. I came to my position on Islam because I carefully studied both the pros and cons of that religion. I am not an "Islamophobe" I am a Christian. It is Islam that murders, not those who oppose it. The world remains silent while thousands of my brothers and sisters in Christ die every year. Don't blame Spencer and Geller, blame the real culprit.

The character assassination are not only reserved for non-Muslims - but former Muslims - so that the warning bells should be all over it.

Part of it - likely for Reza - is that they want to prove the supremacy of Islam over all other - systems - both political and religious.

They want to see a restoration of its glorious past!
In the form of a display in the supremacy Islam can bring.

And all this criticism that western freedom allows, but Islam was never been exposed to - is really messing that image up.

If you look at Islamic debates on Arab TV - the aim is to agree - women sit through so-called debates about wife beating - and the women can't object.

What looks normal to them - appears odd to everyone else.

But also this is what they see as the superior alternative - to democracy and western civilization.

Under western law Islamophobia is worth squat. Because we can't legislate for religious purposes. We simply can't mandate that people think one thing or another about a religion.

Faced with this reality - they have to prove this Islamophobia is like Islamic jihad. They have to prove it is something more - to interject worth.

The problem with leaping on the anti-Islamophobia bandwagon - is that CAIR and others envision the same outcome for society as the jihadists.

So that the claim of Islamophobia applied to all criticism and scrutiny of Islam - can only serve this purpose.

They say we want Shari'a law - we say no - they say Islamophobia!!

Shari'a law would subjugate everyone who doesn't join it - we say supremacist - they say Islamophobic!

In the Islamic world everyone who criticizes or questions Islam is simply imprisoned. Not jailed here - Muslim groups hope to create the same conditions around criticizing Islam - as is the norm in the Islamic world.

To form a two tiered society - based on respect for even the most outrageous aspects of Islam.

They are calling for sympathy for a repressive view - for tolerance of their intolerance.

The real culprit is the father of lies and he comes only to rob, kill and destroy. Muhammad was in my opinion demon possessed and significantly mentally ill. He and all of Islam are only usefully idiots of the real culprit.

People like Mr. Spencer and Ms. Geller are watchmen at the gate shouting the truth of the dangers we face and are indeed my personal heroes. I thank my God and pray for all the truth tellers here like them. Sadly the world has its head in the sand and seems to want to ignore the whole thing unless it’s them feeling the love from the religion of peace.

He must have been choking in his own drool over *this* one then, complete with hoodies and hijabs. How evil this Hooper must be, if he sees the murders of *his own* as merely a propaganda coup.

Of course the supreme irony is that to couple Hijabs with Hoodies is to come dangerously close to exposing the awful truth: that the Mohammedan Female Slave Rag (and in males, the cap/ beard/ whatever) *is* a mark of Gang Membership - of consciously, publicly-proclaimed membership in the biggest, ugliest, oldest and most murderous Gang of all, the Ummah or Mohammedan Mob.

The sorts of gangs that your average non-Muslim hoodie-wearing hoodlum black white yellow or brindle might belong to, come nowhere *near* the Mohammedan Mob in terms of longevity and focused, calculated, carefully codified malignity. Even the older criminal Organisations, syndicates or 'families', the Mafia, the Triads, the Tongs, the Thuggees, the Yakuza, etc etc, are new kids on the block compared to the Ummah.

and not everyone who wears a hoodie belongs to a crime gang or is about to commit a crime: but every Mohammedan female who wears the Slave Rag is a visible marker of the presence of a local manifestation of the Ummah, and wherever there is the Ummah, sooner or later there is Jihad.

The Slave Rag is really no different from the black flag of Jihad: it functions as a declaration of war, it symbolises the sharia and declares the Mohammedan goal of imposing and enforcing sharia worldwide.

The closest equivalents to Mohammedan uniform - whether the male or female version thereof - are the Gestapo or SS Uniform, the Swastika armband, the SS deathshead badge; or the KKK hood and robe; or the Hammer and Sickle flag.

They do not merely declare an allegiance but an intention...a hostile intention.

How would we react if we saw a man or woman striding toward us in the mall grinning triumphantly or defiantly and prominently displaying a Nazi Swastika armband?

*That* should be our natural reaction when we see an open display of the Mohammedan uniform, whether worn by a male or a female.
