Sri Lankan woman held for "witchcraft" in Saudi Arabia, faces beheading

Bu... bu... bu... but lets try to divert the attention from stories like this by bringing up made up stuff like "Islamophobia".

But what if the sorceress is casting spells on non-believers to get them to convert to Islam? Maybe some of the many Coptic girls kidnapped and forced to convert ought to accuse their kidnappers of using sorcery on them.

Muslims are always afraid of witchcraft or what they call "the evil one" (aka Satan).
Muhammad himself used to wear a talisman to ward off the "Evil Eye". Nevertheless he admittedly received a message from Satan and delivered it to the people...as if it were from God!!!

Do they really need to be so scared of this "evil one"? Here is what their own "holy" book had to say about the Power of Satan:

"Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? They descend on every lying, wicked person" Qur'an 26:221-222

So dear muslim, relax, don't worry and be happy. You are protected from "the evil one" unless, like Muhammad, you are a "lying, wicked person"!!!

I think we should be more tolerant of their culture and religion for the protection of diversity that has been so useful to USA historically. We should not report anywhere this beheading of innocent people in Saudi Arabia or other similiar traditionals undertakings in the muslim world to be respectful to their way of life like they are to our's. We should be all silenced not to insult EVIL.

Apparently, you can just accuse any non-Saudi of anything. Or should I say - any infidel?

We should have no relations with Saudi Arabia or any other country that practices this sort of barbarism.

If enough fuss is kicked up in the West these unfortunate people are sometimes saved, because the barbarians get embarrassed about being so... barbaric!.

But who should we be contacting?

A father accused a woman in a mall of witchcraft after his daughter acted differently (Talked back? Expressed an opinion? Looked her father in the eye?) "after she came close to the Sri Lankan woman." For this, the woman was arrested and charged and in danger of being beheaded. Under Sharia law, there is no standard of proof, no reasonableness, just the strength of the allegation. It is a what-would-Muhammad-do? situation as the "trial" is a hearing to compare the allegation with the Qur'an and the Sunnah. If the poor woman is not Muslim, then she has no credibility in a Muslim court.

Having raised a daughter to adulthood, I believe all 13 year old girls act in an "abnormal way", no witchcraft required.

They actually have "specialized units" trained to deal with this situation. It would be funny if it weren't so tragic. And these heroic special forces SUCCEEDED in arresting the 13-year old girl! I wonder how many of them were injured in the struggle she put up?

Apparently it is perfectly legal in the netherworld of SA to believe in sorcery and witchcraft, but illegal to practice them. If the practice of witchcraft and sorcery are an affront to islam and its all-powerful, demonic deity, it seems to me that believing in their (non-existent) powers would also be an insult, indicative of belief in other gods. These atavistic morons who simultaneously exist in the Middle Ages and the twenty-first century are so riduculous that they defy belief.

Probably that father tried to behave in an imodest way with that Srilankan women in that mall ,and she resisted it,and he wanted to punish her in this way! In Pakistan,Muslims take hold of the Blasphemy laws to take revenge on minority Christian,Jewish,Hindu and Ahmediyyas during petty quarrels.
But if anything happens to that Srilankan woman,if she happens to be a Tamil Srilankan,her people will take revenge on Arabs outside.Never heard of the women suicide bombers in Tamil Tiger reiment?.

Muslims are the minority in Sri Lanka; the majority of Sri Lankans are Buddhist, with some Hindus and some Christians.

It's statistically more likely that this poor Sri Lankan woman is a Hindu or Buddhist from Sri Lanka than that she is a Muslim; many such women work as maids in the Abominable Realm of Saud, and are treated abominably. (Quite a few go home in body bags due to having been abused unto death by their Saudi masters and mistresses).

But even if she is a Muslim she is still inferior, being non-Arab, and therefore disposable.
