Let's see ! In less than ten years from now, we will see an increase in cases like ""Submit to Sharia or get out" of our area" in the heart of Europe. Any one wants to bet?

I think France and Britain will be the first to fall to the district jihad. The British are a way too often in bed with the Saudies and the French don't have the balls to implement what they announce to the public.

We are not too far behind Europe in many respect.

Actually, characterizing the condition of dhimmis under Shari'ah as "second-class" gives rather too rosy a view of their terrible oppression and insecurity.

While Sudan initially resisted the secession of South Sudan, they now seek to make Sudan an even more horrific Shari'ah state, rid of everyone who is not Muslim.

Just look at Islamic hell-holes such as Afghanistan and Somalia to see how *that* works out.

This is absolutely horrifying, but hardly surprising. While impoverished South Sudan hardly has the means to provide for a huge influx of refugees, it is still best if all Christians in Sudan *do* leave for South Sudan. It is not hard to see that any Christians who remain there will become targets—even more than previously.

As with Darfur—also mainly Muslim—there is an ethnic angle to this, as well. Most Sudanese Muslims consider themselves to be "Arab"—never mind that this is objectively fairly absurd. They consider the South Sudanese and those from Darfur to be black or sub-saharan Africans—Muslim or not—and treat them very poorly when they are not enslaving them, raping them, or murdering them outright.

Population exchange.

If South Sudan is to have even a chance of surviving and defending themselves against the Jihad, they *cannot* afford to have a huge and expanding Muslim Fifth Column in their midst... (which is what is crippling Israel and India, right at the moment; whereas if India at partition had expelled every single Muslim into Pakistan - whether 'west' or 'east' [now Bangladesh], and if Israel in 1949 had evicted every Muslim from the territory they controlled, and then done the same with the territory they gained in 1967 and the territory they gained in 1973, both countries would be in a far better position today, vis a vis the Jihad).

Non-Muslims in the North would be best advised to all pack up and flee to the south...and, once there, be prepared sooner or later to fight like hell against jihad raiders coming over the border from the north. Better to die free than live - or die, more likely - as a miserable dhimmi slaves.

And the South will have to bite the bullet and eject every single Muslim from their midst.

Everything PJG has posted here - and she's been to the Sudan many times - says they won't do that, or that they are very unlikely to do that.

But I can't see how they will survive long-term, if they don't.

At church yesterday, as usual I prayed for the Sudanese people before I prayed for my own family. Coming back from Sudan is always strange...I realise that I have been in the midst of evil, a relentless expression of jihad with Christians endlessly sufferring and Muslims either nastily defiant, in denial and struggling to live a human life, or even a peculiar mixture of these extremes.
The Sudanese Christians in the north should go back to the south as directed, even the Nuers who have found favour with the government; their luck will run out, as they should realise.
And the Christians of the Nuba Montains - where will they go? And the Copts and the Sudanese converts from Islam who have had a precarious but beautifully dignified life maintaining their faith? They can't go anywhere.
I was told that in 1994 the Sudanese Government forced all the locals who had converted from Islam to Christianity to return to Islam. If they refused, they were arrested and beaten, and only intervention from foreign embassies put a stop to the savagery. Will there be a repeat of this when the government realises that they still (horror of horrors) have Christians in the north? Will the embassies intervene again if it happens?
At least the Southern Sudanese have somewhere to go, even if it will be hard for them - very hard. I know a Coptic man who has a mother in the US but the US will not give him a visa to see her, let alone let him live there. Yet the US takes in all those Muslims with dubious "refugee" credentials.
Sending the Southerners who are Muslim to the south is cynical ans savage. Many of them were forced or lured into Islam. Now they are to be used as a tool to help Islamise the South - because the same apostasy laws as exist in the north are, of course, in place in the south. "Freedom of religion" only exists in the South Sudan Constitution, not in Islamic law!
With the South Sudanese government touting for investment in the Muslim world, the growth of Islam in the south is assured.
But the Christian church is working hard to strengthen its influence; so if anyone can help charities such as Barnabas Fund, please think about the good work they do in this regard.

The regime in Khartoum has already initiated a population transfer. Instead of complaining, the one in Ranciel should reciprocate, and expel all Muslims from S Sudan, and just mention that they'll need that lebensraum for the Christians who are 'returning'. By all means, make N Sudan Infidelrein, but by the same standards, make S Sudan Muslimischerein. Do a complete mutual population transfer, and let Sudan get re-annexed to Egypt. I'm sure that Egypts new Islamic rulers would be happy to have Omar el Bashir run the entire country, not just 'Sudan'.

Oh, and while they are at it, have Darfur separated from Sudan, and annexed to Chad, which is still a Muslim, although not Arab, country. They'll fit right in.

The first headline is false but if it was true you would hear and outcry like you never heard before from just about every country in the world and every group in the world. the second headline, which is true doesn’t even get mentioned except on JW.
This indeed nothing but pure racism by the Arab north to ethnically cleanse the Sudan of black Africans. They have been doing this in Darfur an now want it done throughout Sudan.
