I'm not exactly clear how someone living today can insult an individual who died almost 1400 years ago.

Once again, I see an example of "the process is the punishment" which is becoming even more prevalent in our 21st Century, to encourage (or more likely discourage) the others.

I'm rather ashamed my beloved alma mater has besmirched its good name with this job action. I sure hope FIRE lights a fire under their a$$es and get this rectified.

But, as with most other major universities, the MSA snuck in some years ago and spread their nefarious tentacles on the main campus (West Lafayette). For this reason, I no longer give Purdue money.

(The Purdue MSA chapter wisely keeps a pretty low profile; I keep a close watch on their dawa events.)

As usual, they're using the islamic "victimhood" tactic and the made-up word "islamophobia" (I am not an islamophobe, which would imply an *irrational* fear of islam. I am a proud islamoloathe.) to cloud the issue, which is the criminal mutilation of female children.

I am not ashamed of my previous statements, which many of you know are often in response to muslims' agressive statements of worldwide islamic supremacy and domination and admonitions about the ultimate demise of the "Infidels" at the hands of their muslim conquerors.

Hussam Al-Deen (another pseudonym, just like Al-Haj - the doctor did not dare publish under his legal name, Elhagaly) also confuses me with Raven King, the petition organizer, a health-and-wellness activist. I guess he should read Jihad Watch more often, to keep up with the news.

My political views have absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand, i.e., the advocacy of the criminal mutilation of female children.

However, it's always so convenient for muslims to cry "islamophobia" when they're caught red-handed. Of course, we're used to their attempts at deflection by now.

Academic freedom has been under attack by the Muslims and their fellow-travellers for years not only in the USA but right across the western world - and beyond it, in places like India.

I remember both Canon Patrick Sookhdeo and Bishop Michael Nazir Ali talking about how it had become difficult to criticise Islam in the course of academic research in the UK. Patrick Sookhdeo's own wife, Rosemary, was prevented from publishing her dissertation and was denied her degree, because her research led her to conclusions that were construed as unacceptable critique of Islam (this research she later turned into a book, 'Secrets Behind the Burqa').

A pushback is long overdue.

Let it begin in earnest at Purdue.

Many people just don't want to hear the truth, especially if the truth shows the hearer to be less than they tell themselves they are.
Jesus Christ was killed for telling the truth.
Those who do not believe this and argue differently do not change the thinking of those who accept it as fact.

In the world in which we now find ourselves, it is becoming increasingly hard to get away with telling the truth. And it is quite insane. Rather like someone eating cheese and proclaiming, "This cheese tastes moldy," and those hearing say, "How dare you insult the cheese!"

I'm afraid I would be in trouble quite often at Purdue as I tend to say what I think. And I don't believe the old dead guy who married a child and murdered others was a prophet from the True and Only God.

I think that the pattern I see here is this:

All schools try to enforce the propagation of their societies' ruling ideas at many levels, who gets to teach and how they are treated being one.

The problem here is not so much that his rights were violated, unless you consider the school, his employer, as a branch of the gov't. Congress shall make no law, etc ... Congress isn't making any laws here, even by distant inference.

The problem is that the university elite is HOSTILE to our society's (once) ruling ideas. They are enforcing the protection of Islam's ideas, not ours.

The means by which they do so are a bit excessive, at least by my standards, but are not the main issue.

The main issue is that they are out to destroy America.

And the biggest and worst problem is that our side is NOT WILLING to treat them as harshly as they deserve.

Those "Purdue-Calumet officials" should all be unemployed right now.

Seems to me that they'd have to prove he existed prior to proving he'd been a prophet. Then prove the existence of Allah so that the possibility of the need for prophets was validated. Then prove that Allah actually needed Mohammed to be his little personal prophet. Then prove that he actually was a prophet for Allah prior to being insulted as a prophet. Good luck with all that. What a bunch of idiots. I hope he wins his law suit and lives happily ever after. Free speech forever!
