Announcement from minarets in Syrian city: "Christians must leave Qusayr within six days"

Just as in Egypt and Libya, the U.S. is backing Islamic supremacists and jihadists in Syria. In angling for the toppling of Assad, the U.S. is supporting Islamic jihadists who, once in power, will make life significantly worse for Syria's Christians. "Syria’s ultimatum to Christians: 'Leave Qusayr,'" from Vatican Insider, June 9 (thanks to C. Cantoni):

An exodus of Christians is taking place in Western Syria: the Christian population has fled the city of Qusayr, near Homs, following an ultimatum issued by the military chief of the armed opposition, Abdel Salam Harba.
This is what local sources told Vatican news agency Fides, pointing out that since the conflict broke out, only a thousand of the city’s ten thousand faithful, were left and they are now being forced to flee immediately. Some of the city’s mosques have issued the message again, announcing from the minarets: “Christians must leave Qusayr within six days, ending Friday.” The ultimatum therefore expired on 8 June and spread fear among the Christian population which had started to regain hope as a result of the presence of the Jesuit Fr. Paolo Dall’Oglio, who stopped off in Qusayr for a week to “pray and fast in the name of peace, right in the midst of conflict.”

The reasons for this ultimatum remain a mystery. Some say it is necessary in order to protect faithful from further suffering; other sources reveal “a continuity in discrimination and selective repression.” Others still claim that Christians have openly expressed their loyalty to the state and this is why the opposition army is chasing them away. Now Christian families in Qusayr have begun their exodus as displaced persons, towards the surrounding valleys and rural areas. Some have taken refuge in parents’ and friends’ homes in Damascus. Very few families have courageously decided to stay behind in their birth city but who knows what fate will meet. Fides sources have reiterated that groups of Salafi Islamic extremists within the armed opposition consider Christians as “infidels”; they confiscate their belongings, carry out mass executions and are ready to declare a “denominational war”.

This is a colossal lie. The Jihadists will do no such thing. It's all very simple, once in power they'll simply kick all the Christians out of the country, so there'll be no need to worry about "Syrian Christians" as that will simply be an oxymoron.

How long are we going to allow our American "public servants" to misuse elected office as tools for their personal ideological psychosis? There is nothing close to a mandate for this from the American people. To put the United States on the side of violent jihadist insurgents is EXTREMISM and TERRORISM. OBAMA and H. CLINTON are political terrorists.

Assad is the lesser of two evils. In a country of 25 million, he could have killed at least a million by now if he wanted to do so to stay in power. Or even 100,000. Only, yes, only 10,000 have died, most at the hands of government renegades and the so-called Sunni freedom fighters the latter of who will only impose sharia and eradicate the Christian minority and Assad's Muslim sect should they "win".

This is no news. The Sunni majority has always been ready to commit genocide, and has never wanted to give Christians a modicum of respect and human dignity, but Assad has.

IN THE LOW EXPECTATIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST, ASSAD IS THE PROGRESSIVE, NOT THE SUNNIS.

The good news for Mosques is that they will be easier to spot once islam starts its jihad in the west because when the gloves come off.... muslim will see a real war by freedom-fighters whiel Obama hides in his spider-hole
and uses the SGT. Schultz defence that he knew nothing, and saw nothing.

This is virtually the entire Christian population of Homs. And now Qusayr is in their sights.

And Muslims are announcing this religious cleansing *from their minarets*. This is part and parcel of Islam.

Not really, Syria has been engaged in religious cleansing ever since the 7th-century invasion of Muslim hordes. Syria, along with Lebanon, had the largest remaining Christian populations in the Levant.

Syria may well be rendered "Christian-rein" during our lifetimes—even though it had one of the earliest Christian populations, and a long, stories Christian history.

And remember, many Iraqi Christians fled to the (comparative) safety of Syria. Many of those people are now likely among the refugees...
