Thoughts On Threats

Another round of threats from the devout followers of Muhammad is in the books.
Right here at Jihad Watch, another enthusiastic Muslim has demonstrated to the world why Islam is mockingly referred to as the “Religion of Peace.”
This time, an “Australian man” on Twitter going by the tag “Abdulhakim” chimed in.
Staying on course, he accused Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller, director of the Atlas Shrugs website, of lying about Islam and its founder.
Like this "Abdulhakim," many other strict adherents to the Qur’an are out on the web trying to come off as Islam’s Internet enforcers. While they’re quick to throw out threats to anyone who speaks objectively about the Islamic belief system, they are silent when it comes to answering challenges to participate in public dialogue.
To all of the "Abdulhakims" out there, I have known Robert Spencer since 2003. I can say here and now that asinine threats are nothing foreign to him. They continue to fail to intimidate him, and they demonstrate your absence of originality and self-control. I have not met Pamela Geller, but I’ve seen her work. Don’t stand on your head waiting for her to back down, either.
Why all the threats? As a devout believer in Islam, shouldn’t you know your faith better than these two “infidels” do? Shouldn’t you be able to show evidence that they lie about Islam and its originator? Sure you should. So why not engage them in public discussion so that you can educate them as well as the rest of us?
By no means should you feel singled out. This communication is also aimed directly at the Imams preaching in the mosques, the teachers in the Madrassas, and the militants posing as “Muslim civil rights” organizations in America, who long ago appointed themselves to speak for the Islamic community.
By birth or by choice, Islam is the doctrine you live by. All of you should know it like the back of your hand, and yet all you can muster is crying foul and making fools of yourselves trying to play bully?
Bullies are invertebrates, and fools look for eggs in cuckoo clocks.
Maybe in Mecca or Tehran, you can walk to the town square to watch a public stoning without anyone questioning the core of your beliefs.
In spite of your yearnings, this isn’t Mecca or Tehran. The law of our land is the United States Constitution. Live by it, and understand that everyone else here has the right to live by it. Better yet, you can leave. The U.S. has managed to survive for 236 years without you throwing anything positive into the mix.
Millions have given their lives defending our Constitution. Efforts to replace it are dismissive of their sacrifices. Their memory will not be obliterated by the reins of America being handed over to temperamental agitators who seek to implement a human rights violation known as Shari’ah law.
We are aware that openly discussing the Suras in the Qur’an or Islamic law and how they’re supposedly compatible with Western civilization would take time away from your tiresome bitching, so it is reasonable to once again publish a few examples of both, so that everyone can avoid the obfuscation and nonsense that you keep trying to place in front of the facts…
Qur’an and Shari’ah
Qur'an 5:51: "O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other..."
Crimes against Muslims receive harsher penalties than crimes against non-Muslims.
Qur'an 4:34: "Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient… As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them, send them to beds apart, and beat them."
In Shari'ah court, a man's testimony equals that of two women (cf. Qur'an 2:282).
Muslim women are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, but Muslim men are permitted to marry Christians and Jews, as well as Muslims.
Qur'an 4:89: "They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them..."
In accordance with Islamic law, if a Muslim strays from Islam he must be prosecuted, taken into custody by force and be called on to repent. If necessary, his return to Islam is to be "helped along" with torture. Those who refuse to embrace Islam and wish to convert to another religion have forfeited their lives and are to be put to death by the state.
Qur'an 5:33: "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is that they should be killed or crucified, or their hands and feet should be cut off on opposite sides, or they should be imprisoned..."
Punishment for theft is amputation of the right hand.
Multiple amputations are carried out for the crime of highway robbery (cf. Qur'an 5:33).
Adultery is punishable by public stoning.
Shari’ah’s lighter side…
For less serious crimes such as alcohol related offenses or being caught alone in the company of a person of the opposite sex who is not a relative, the offenders are merely caned or whipped.
Sure thing. This lines right up with freedom and equality, all right.

Stop qualifying Muslims with the words like "devout", "radical" etc to describe the atrocious criminal acts of Muslims. Just calling them Muslim is enough. If other Muslims don't like it - tough. It is from their ranks all of these devout and radical Muslims emerge. Today a moderate, peaceful Muslim tomorrow devout, radical and terrorist!! What have we gotten ourselves into this PC sh*t!!
