Unfortunately we Americans do not want to wake up until another big JIHADIST attack. From what I can tell the same thing happened in Germany before the WWII. This poor young man.
Slaughtering young relatives for balking at forced marriages is absolutely mainstream Islam. The only somewhat uncommon element here is that it is more often girls who are the victims.
In fact, Muslim troll Rezali Mehil has praised "Honor Killings", and actually considers *the killers* in such case to be "the victims", because they are obligated to murder their disobedient relatives.
Of course, her assertion is that such children only run afoul of their murderously pious relatives in Dar-al-Harb, which means that this story would be something of an embarrassment.

I don't see anything wrong with this and in fact, I do not understand, why a Islamic state should prosecute a pious man like this prayer leader.
After all, as a Muslim, he is supposed to murder and kill. In this case, as a prayer leader, he's just set an appropriate example for his congregation. I suppose his followers are now mightily enthused.

According to our president, Barack Obama, "he thinks we (America), can take another 911"...
When I read that Obama had said that I cringed ... and I thought of a quote by Winstom Churchill ... Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I cringed because Obama is our president and such words of disaster and doom should never cross a leaders lips. Its almost as if Obama were wishing it into being... and that was scary...
Sadly the society of world, seems doomed to repeat the lessons of a not so distant history, WWII; let us pray for mercy and grace, hoping we will survive this new impending Holocaust.

You're right he committed a crime and he should pay for it; and even Islam acknowledges that the murder of an innocent person is a crime, punishable by death. Therein lies the question, does Islam support honor killings? Well 91% of the honor killing are committed by Muslims; and Islam controlls every act and thought of Muslims. Therefore "if" Islam did not support honor killings you would see harsh, sever punishments being handed out; but just the opposite is the case. Therefore, Islam's treatment of honor killers shows that Islam does support honor killings.
Honor killing are done to restore the honor of the family, or to be more specific the "man or men" of the family. When the young man refused to marry the imam's daughter, the young man besmirched, the imam's honor; for which the imam killed him; and the imam's honor was therby restored.
I will admit that most honor killings involve women, but honor killings can and do involve men also. So therefore, this is a typical "honor killing".
islam's claim to be the creators of the Sciences must misunderstood because muslims have a unique version of the " Law of relativity" where it's legal to kill relatives in Honour-killings or Apostesy.

Not sure, but I think the word he used was "absorb"; that Americans can "absorb" another 9/11. The way I read that (and recoiled in disgust) was that he surmised that Muslim terrorists could get away with another 9/11: still be treated well in the US, because Americans will STILL not rise up en masse against Islam or Muslims. This is a very cold, cynical analysis from the US Cynic-in-Chief.
There is no doubt that these imams are totally brainwashed and caught up in their so called religion of peace ideology.
Nonetheless, the nephew had to have known what would happen had he not done as he was commanded to by the imam.
I can not imagine living under such extreme rules as Sharia demands 24-7. But I can say I would not stay in such an enviornment, as long as I was able to get away from it. I would guess that at least 30% of those living under such extreme conditions must think about getting away from such a life no matter how brainwashed they might be.
Infact it must cross their minds to defend themselves against such barbaric civil unrest. I mean at least for your childrens sake fight to defend your family.
I'm sure I'll never understand why people so suppressed and threatened don't defend themselves. Those same people would kill themselves to further their hateful cause against kaffirs whom have not once threatened them.
There has to be some way to defend against this bruttle, Godless, and non-tolorant, ideology that is subjugating good Muslims every second of everyday.
I also feel the free world could do much more at helping those whom want to get away (apostate) from such barbaric self-rightousness. Of course I wouldn't expect free people to risk their lives and enter Islamic nations to help those whom are at risk of being murdered. But an underground (stealth) railroad maybe possible? Those whom have apostated can help with such an undertaking.
I'm equally sure God would help save so many good people from being murdered by their own family members because of an ideology that is so posessed.
Until then I will continue to pray for those whom are in locked into such an evil enviornment.

Roman Catholic priests frequently murder people and so do Anglican vicars..... well, alright, so they don't. I made that up!
But imagine if they did. Imagine the outrage in the West. "Christianity is evil". "Ban religion". "Freedom from religion."
Of course when Muslim clerics advocate murder, preach murder or even commit murder......... nothing. The silence is deafening!
