South Africa: Zulu leader blasts boycott of Israel, compares it to Nazis

Mangosuthu Buthelezi is right. It is tragic that he is one of the few political leaders anywhere in the world willing to enunciate this truth. "SA's very own 'Made in Israel' war of words," by Osiame Molefe for Eyewitness News, June 29 (thanks to A):

The exact wording proposed is unclear, but a notice issued by the trade and industry department that goods imported from Israel and manufactured in the Israeli-occupied territories ought to be labelled as such has been met by protest.
The Inkatha Freedom Party, the African Christian Democratic Party, the South African Zionist Federation and the Shembe Church – dubbing themselves “Africans for Israel” – on Thursday marched to the trade and industry department's head office in Pretoria to demand that minister Rob Davies withdraw the notice.

According to ACDP leader Kenneth Meshoe – whose human rights record includes opposition to gay rights and condom distribution and who supports the death penalty – the notice “is discriminatory, indefensible and part of the international boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign to isolate and delegitimise Israel.”

Davies' action is yet another indication that the South African government has taken Palestine's side in the conflict, IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi added. He also claimed that the notice had no basis in law.

“Our government has maintained an unstated position with regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and has made no effort to conceal the fact that it supports the Palestinian cause. One seldom hears an unbiased statement in Parliament. Our government has taken sides,” he said.

Buthelezi also likened the consumer boycotts against the re-labelling to those preceding the persecution of Jews and the Holocaust in Germany....

Of course. The National Socialists of Germany initiated the first BDS movement, calling on Germans to boycott Jewish-owned businesses:

My suspicion is that the whole coterie of support he pulled together is Christian of some stripe or another.

Too many Muslim's in positions of power in South Africa. I think it was former DA leader Tony Leon who said, "When taking positions South Africa always sides with the kleptocracies of the world"

I think a number of European countries for example Norway and Denmark could learn allot from South Africans.
The ANC who is the ruling party in South Africa is very cold towards Israel and has clearly aligned themselves with the Palestinians and everything Islamic, but the supporters of some of the opposition parties as mentioned in this article are not prepared to follow everything the ruling party says like sheep.
Denmark also wants to embrace a type of boycott on Israel, but I don't recall any demonstrations against this in fact very seldom do you hear an uproar from opposition groups in Europe when a government does something anti Israeli.

I guess it is only a small group of "far right radicals" such as Geert Wilders who have the courage to do something like that.

By the way, Hugh Fitzgerald, former frequent contributor here, on more than one occasion was known to remark that in the 1950s and 1960s the aid that Israel gave to assorted African countries - small-scale, intelligent, pinpoint-targeted and practical - was of far more use to the people in those countries than the lashings of Arab/ Muslim petrodollar bribe money - with sinister Islamic strings attached - that have been lavished on many corrupt African rulers. African nations were bribed and cajoled into refusing aid from Israel and breaking off or ramping back relations with Israel, whilst becoming water-carriers for Jihad, voting in the UN according to the bidding of the Islamintern. And that has done them no good at all, indeed, rather, it has done and will do immense harm.

The non-Muslim countries of southern Africa would be well advised to end or severely curtail relations with Islamic entities - especially in light of the fact that it is *Muslims* who for 12 centuries have abused, killed and enslaved (and in many cases, castrated) black Africans and in a good few places are *still* unrepentantly and brazenly doing so - and to resume cordial relations with Israel.

The fact that the Israelis are seeking to Return to Sender illegal immigrants from Africa should not affect this; the fact is, Israel is a tiny country surrounded by genocidal Jew-hating Muslims and people who have fled from, say, Jihad in Sudan, to seek 'refuge' in Israel have merely jumped from a frying pan into the fire. African *Muslims* who have entered Israel illegally are dangerous, and cannot be allowed to remain, for they swell the numbers of the Muslim Fifth Column that already exists within Israel. The Christians such as the South Sudanese *do* have a country to go to, now; they are best off to thank the Israelis for temporary respite, food and shelter, and go home to defend their *own* homeland against the Jihad.

"Africans for Israel", the lights in ever increasing Dark Land. Africans supporting Muhammadism is like a "a abused child" defending their abuser.
