Pay back whom? The British people overall didn't want multiculturalism or mass immigration. The people of Britain don't deserve this assault on their culture and day-to-day lives. Polls and surveys from western countries indicate that the majority of people, for decades, have opposed these policies forced upon them by their governments. It was primarily only the politicians, the media, and academics within particular areas and with particular views, who wanted to replace the British people with a multicult-Islamic paradise.

Same for Dearborn; Americans didn't want this shite (no pun intended).

Their only crime was foolishly letting Muslims in. And, while things are certainly worse in Britain than in America so far, the fact is that *every* country in the West has pursued this moronic immigration policy to one degree or another.

And I agree with Kinana—most ordinary Brits—and Frenchmen, and Danes, and Germans, and Swedes—did not ask for this.

As for Americans, we are so used to people from all over the world coming here because they *want to become Americans* that we can hardly believe that any group has a different agenda.

Exactly. It was the so-called "elites" who brought this travesty on the people. They should be made to pay. First, vote them out. Second, hold they up for treason. Third, reverse current immigration policies. Fourth, forced integration of the malcontents, or expulsion. If they cannot live in a world of equality before the law, equality of gender, and personal rights to believe, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of inquiry without threats and attacks, then they should not be welcome here, and told so. It's a simple solution. Either adapt or get shipped out.

As gravenimage points out, this is not merely a UK or US problem, it affects the whole Western civilized world. As I wrote earlier, Islam is ostologically/ontologically incompatible with modern Western values and norms.

In the Mail's defence, whilst they parrot a politically correct line which not one other msm outlet will deviate from, they are at least publishing this stuff. Consequently quite a few of their stories end up on JW pages which gives us all the opportunity to delve beneath the layers of fudge and discover the truth.

You know, as do many other counter jihad sites that since the designation of the tag 'hate crime' that all objectivity has disappeared from policing and more disturbingly the politics of policing.

These attitudes are rife across an establishment spectrum which is so riddled by cultural relativists and Frankfurt School Marxists that truthful objectivity itself is now a 'hate crime' and that even paedophilia is given a pass, just as long as it is perpetrated by the ones chosen for immunity.

Whilst it's true that we in Britain have been hammered into silence by twelve years of Labour's top down groupthink, we are not alone in Europe and it now looks like this Orwellian scourge has migrated across to Obama's America where Christians in Dearborn can be pelted with missiles and the police merely stand by and suggest that they file a complaint through the official channels.

Whilst all of this can become heartily depressing and however tenuous our grasp on democracy has become, the sinews still remain and it looks like the collectivity of a Judeo/Christian 'right thing' is regaining its voice.

The mirage of undiscerning diversity as the saviour of mankind is shattering and as Muslims, emboldened by a political lack of resistance cast off the cloak of taqiyya and that middle kingdom of dar el suhl* show their true colours so the dawning gains in strength.

What I'm getting at is revealed, as usual in the comment and whilst after twelve years of Labours 'education policies' the spelling and grammar is pretty lamentable, the meaning is as plain as a pike staff.

We've been here before when communist infiltrated unions held Britain by its throat and the country resembled a wasteland of constant strikes, unburied dead, rotting refuse ridden streets and the term, public service workers a complete reversal of meaning.

The proletariat then arose from the default passivity and Thatcher gained a landslide. For once voters made their voice heard and the politicians jumped.

That a tad more ‘jumping’ is needed right now has to be the understatement of our emergent century.

I think it is an important insight, logdon. Corporate and political greed disguised as "altruism" is a weapon in their hands, the MSM is complicit, so they imported all those undesirable Moslems into our Western societies. They will be made to pay for such ignorant stupidity down the road, in time. We the People are getting educated and wise to them. It is our jobs as bloggers, writers, speakers, to make sure the public understands what had been going on, and put these so-called 'elites' out of business. Vote them out, boycott their establishments, and the people's voice will be heard. We need people of integrity in power, real statesmen, not cheap rabble that is there now.

Thanks Chervil. I like this site because we are gentlemen/gentlewomen here, so we can discuss in a constructive rather than divisive way. We all have a common problem, this atavistic Islamic curse descended on our heads by ignorant politicians, bureaucrats, and corporate chiefs, and it is time to blow the whistle on them. We know, we understand and can reason, and that is a very powerful tool against Islamic encroachment, from the Murfreesboro TN mosque to the Muslim Brotherhood's CAIR nonsense. We do it with class, but at the same time give them the proverbial finger. Time to call Islam what it is.

It is primarily the people in charge of the controls of the immigration floodgates that are responsible for this mess. Politicians are supposed to pay attention to opinion polls, and these polls have consistently shown that the majority of the public opposes mass immigration and multiculturalism that erodes the core culture. (To the extent that that majority has gotten somewhat smaller in the past several years can be attributed to the fact that there are now more immigrants being sampled in the polls, i.e., the government is importing people who benefit from and thus agree with its policies). There is no law that says immigration must remain open. The government could declare an emergency and shut it off tomorrow, allowing no new cases, indefinitely, if there is the political will to do it. All the major political parties are committed to continued mass immigration, none of the major parties are going to shut it off (possible exceptions, e.g., Geert Wilders' party), and they are committed to the doctrine that Islam is a religion of peace that is good for us and enriching. The majority of the non-Muslim general public doesn't believe such things, and has opposed this destructive disastrous mass immigration and corrosive multiculturalism for decades.

The religious leadership in western countries is for the most part pro-Islam, pro-sharia, pro-Islamic schools. Why? Because those things are religious (and of course anything that's religious, especially "Abrahamic", must be good right?). They are closer to the Islamic leadership than to their own constituents. The Islamic invasion is promoted, sustained, and defended by many things, and one of those many things is political correctness; but another is religious correctness.

Could the general public be doing more to oppose Islamization? Sure they could. But I was talking about apportioning blame. To blame the general public without blaming the government on this issue would be like saying that bystanders at the scene of a crime who oppose murder did not do enough to stop a person from murdering another. It is the government that is the murderer in this analogy, the particular academics and activists I mentioned are the masterminds, and the media are the accomplices who are in collusion with the government on this scheme and who helped thwart any intervention by bystanders, and the murder victim in this case is western civilization.

While some citizens are quite knowledgeable and aware of the Islam problem and its importance--especially those who live in or near Islamic enclaves--most are not aware of the extent and scope of it. (And most don't live in or near Islamic enclaves and so are not overtly affected by Islam/badly-behaving Muslims in their day-to-day lives). The average person legally does not have the knowledge, the power, and the opportunity that the government officials have. The government officials in charge of the immigration floodgates know where this is heading. The average person does not. No amount of protest from the ordinary citizens is going to convince the main political parties to shut the mass immigration floodgates. The trends over the past decades have shown that they are rigidly locked onto it, will not listen to the public about it, and will not stop it. Only new political parties which specifically state that they will shut off the immigration floodgates (or limited it drastically to allow in only those who are legally and culturally compatible with the west) have a chance of stopping this legally.
