In the meantime, you could do worse than circulate, among the Anglophones, copies of this article by a very astute American, one Patrick L Moore, on the subject of Islam and Jihad, that appeared in 1994. Note well that the term 'Guerra fria' is the word the Spanish used to describe the situation that obtained during the centuries-long period of their gradual freeing of their own homeland from Mohammedan invaders and occupiers (a process of liberation that, alas, now looks like having to be started all over again...).

Have you heard the expression "The Pot calling the Kettle black"? Caste and untouchability are endemic among Muslims, whether in Yemen (Al Akhdam), Somalia (Madhiban)or in South Asia (Mehtar and Bhangi).

In Niger, lower-caste persons are slaves, weavers or well-diggers. They are found among the Hausa, Djema-Songhai and the Touareg. In Senegal, the untouchables are the Neenos, the Nyamakalaw and the Jonow. In Mauritania we have the Haratin or black Moors who are slaves or ex-slaves of the Bidans – the white Moors. In Burkina Faso the lower caste is the Bellah, the slave caste of the Touaregs. In Gambia, we have the Jaam or Ngalo people, whose forefathers were collateral for debts, were sold to settle debts or were captives of Islamic jihadists who invaded centuries ago.

In South Asia, the Muslims are divided as Ashrafs and Ajlafs. Ashrafs claim a superior status derived from their foreign Arab/Turk/Persian or upper caste Hindu ancestry. The non-Ashrafs are assumed to be converts from low castes, and are treated with disgust and contempt.

The (Ulema) scholars of Islamic jurisprudence have provided religious legitimacy throughout history to caste among Muslims with the help of the concept of Kafa'a. A classical example is the Fatawa-i-Jahandari, written by the scholarly fourteenth century Turkish cleric, Ziauddin Barani, a powerful member of the court of Muhammad bin Tughlaq, of the Delhi Sultanate. Barani was intensely casteist and regarded the Ashraf Muslims as racially superior to the Ajlafs. He divided the Muslims into grades and sub-grades, which became accepted state policy thereafter in the , whereby all high positions and privileges were monopoly of the high born Turks, not of the Indian Muslims. He even considered piety to be associated with noble birth. His most significant contribution in the fatwa was his analysis of the castes with respect to Islam, asserting that castes would be mandated through state laws or "Zawabi" and would carry precedence over Sharia law whenever they were in conflict. In the Fatwa-i-Jahandari (advice XXI), he wrote about the "qualities of the high-born" as being "virtuous" and the "low-born" being the "custodian of vices". Every act which is "contaminated with meanness and based on ignominity, comes ..from the Ajlaf".

In addition to the Ashraf/Ajlaf divide, there is also the Arzal caste among Muslims, who are the Muslim untouchables. The 1901 census describes Arzals as Muslims “with whom no other Muhammadan would associate, and who are forbidden to enter the mosque or to use the public burial ground”. They are relegated to "menial" professions such as scavenging and carrying night soil.

South Asian Muslims stratify society according to "Quoms", which is identical to "Castes" and practise a ritual-based system of social stratification. So stop chucking stones at others, when you are living in a fragile glass house yourselves.

This is what needs to be done in India. I can't do it since I reside in the USA, and have done so for most of my life.
There are several Hindu groups in India, that are quite anti muslim but they do tend to Hindu nationalist also. we also have some brave politician who do stand up to the muslims, but the Indian mass media which claims to be secular do everything possible to silence them in the mistaken belief that to support anything anti islam is communalism. Just as charge of racism is used to silence critics in the west, a charge of communalism is also used by the Indian media to stop any critical debate on islam.

So are muslim refugees allowed to vote? Also remember that the Indian politician are Hindus. They betray anyone to stay in power.

brahmins are supposed to be at the top of the hierarchy - the only people who are allowed to perform prayer - you cannot do it directly - you have to use those jesters; that is a prime example of it remaining alive and well.

As for Hinduism most people are aware of it’ teachings and they are also aware that as practiced it is truly peaceful, tolerant, and respecting of other people and religions. It is not about caste or not allowing people to worship as they please or not tolerating those who brake it’ so called rule. No one in the world has problems with Hindus or Hinduism. It’s only the muslims who have problems. But then you have problems with Judaism, Christianity, and all other beliefs including other sects of islam that doesn't agree with yours.
