Absent diplomatic relations with the United States, Iran is using its embassy in Canada to recruit ethnic Iranians to “be of service” to Tehran — causing U.S. terrorism experts to warn of a possible attack from north of the border.
The mobilization effort is taking place under the guise of the embassy’s cultural outreach program, and Iranian-Canadians opposed to the regime in Tehran say the Islamic republic’s intentions are revealed in an interview that Hamid Mohammadi, Iran’s cultural affairs counsellor attached to the Iranian embassy in Ottawa, gave in Farsi to an Iran-based website directed at Iranian expatriates in Canada.

Estimating the Iranian population in Canada to be 500,000, Mohammadi describes them as having “characteristics” that “set them apart” from other immigrants. He says recent Iranian immigrants have “decisively preserved strong attachments and bonds to their homeland,” while the “younger second generation” is already “working in influential government positions.”

Mohammadi urges all Iranian-Canadians to aspire to “occupy high-level key positions” and “resist being melted into the dominant Canadian culture.”

Most ominously, he maps out how his country intends to lure current and future Iranians in Canada into helping Iran: “By 2031, the total immigrant population of Canada will increase by 64%, and the number of Iranians will increase due to birthrate,” Mohammadi recounts for the website Iranians Residing Abroad (found at iranyad.ir).

“So, therefore, we need to put into effect very concentrated cultural programs in order to enhance and nurture the culture in this fast-growing population. It is obvious that this large Iranian population can only be of service to our beloved Iran through these programs and gatherings.”...

With almost 20'000 Terrosim acts since 9/11/01, and, mainly muslims murdering other muslims.....I can only conclude by the evidence displayed by muslims themselves that it IS a vile and dangerous death-cult started by a lonely and pathetic Orphan with visions of Prophethood and a lust for sex with little girls.
One truth that CAIR can NOT run from is that msulims are about 16% of the World's popualtion but.....they make up 91% of the honour-murders for which about 99% are by muslim males of middle east background and NOT Western Born or Converts in the 21st century.

Canada's generous Welfare system is a magnet for Jihadists to ship their "baby-machines" to canada and feed off the system as they pump out Jihad-Joe's for allah future Terrorism attack in canada on the filty christians and jews that actually pay the taxes so msulims can suck from the welfare system .
Poor allah, his children have to flee his Utopic Caliphates for non-islamic nations, then , go on welfare as Social parasites to lazy or stupid to contribute to society.

It seems to me that the majority of Canadians and whatever Canada calls its resident aliens (landed immigrants or something like that?) live within a day's drive of the US border.

One big gripe I have about the jihadis is that it now takes a lot longer for Americans and Canadians to cross the border for legitimate business or pleasure--and, in the course of nearly 2 centuries of peaceful coexistence, there are scads of legitimate reasons for Americans and Canadians to cross the border. I remember from my boyhood a few vacations in your country in which the customs people looked in your car, asked your nationality, and if all of the occupants were American or Canadian, you got told, "Keep it moving". Sometimes, they weren't even interested in whether you were carrying booze or not!

What does ANYONE not understand about muslim stategy? Overrun. Infiltrate. Subvert. Subjugate. I mean, they state it openly. We have plenty of examples in Europe and increasingly, in the USA. Muslims are bad for living things--and that includes people and culture.

Four little words could at least start to turn this around:

Busy seeking to turn persons of Iranian Muslim background, in Canada, into an active Fifth Column. Which some are already, of course, without any need for instruction from the government of Islamic Iran.

I would bet my bottom dollar that Persian EX-Muslims in Canada -there *are* little churches of 'Muslim-background Believers' springing up all over the world, among Persian emigre communities - are being tracked, spied-on and threatened by the government of Iran and its goons, both through Iranian embassies and through the mosques.

I think one could make a pretty damn good case for either breaking off diplomatic relations with Islamic countries altogether, or else trimming them back to the barest minimum - say, three people. No family members and no swarms of persons of vaguely-defined function, all carrying 'diplomatic immunity'.

Yes , 90% of canadians live within 400Klm of the US border.
BUT, while non-muslims are spead across across every mile of land....it's the muslims that choose border Towns or easy access areas to the USA.
Just get a map of the mosques in canada and show me how they are spread out evenly. Muslim don't want to blend in as 1% of every neighbourhood, they want 100% domination for the no-go zones as we see in Toronto for the Somali's at Kipling and Dixon.

That's wild exaggeration. The population of Iranian background in Canada is nowhere near 500000. I would guess the current figure is about 150000 (i.e., about 0.4% of the total population of Canada). Stats Canada in 2006 put the figure at 121510.

As for their loyalty to the Iranian Islamic regime, I suspect that the Iranian official is also wildly exaggerating. While the majority of Iranian immigrants are Shia, some are non-Muslim dissidents or are otherwise secular, and some are Sunnis; not all of them are Shia who would be loyal to the Iranian regime.

While Islamic demographic trends in Canada is a major long-term concern, this official is probably overestimating the specific influence of Iranians in helping the Iranian regime.

The Canadian authorities do need to keep their eyes on the problem of agents loyal to the Iranian regime, but the Iranian official is exaggerating the size of the population of people who would be helpers of the Iranian regime.

As for the percentage of Muslims in Canada who are Shias, I have read that the figure is about 15%, but I suspect it is somewhat higher than that, due to the significant populations of Iranian, Iraqi, and Lebanese Muslim immigrants in Canada.

The longer kaffirs ignore the truth about Islam the more powerful and larger Islam becomes. Islam has a very straight forward agenda and ideology.

Until all non-Muslims remove themselves from this ignorance of Islam the longer non-Muslims will be ineffective in surviving Islams ideology.

Non-Muslims should not be burning the Koran, Hadith, and Sira, they should be reading them. Knowledge can be the most effective of all weapons. At the present Islam has the advantage of knowledge over all non-Muslims.

It's up to the non-Muslims to change that or become subjugated by Islam.
