Nigeria: Muslims murder 52 in Christian villages

Muslims in Nigeria blame the Christians, of course. "52 Killed in Central Nigeria Raids and Reprisals," by Ahmed Saka for the Associated Press, July 8 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Raids and reprisal attacks have left 52 people dead in Christian villages near a Nigerian city where authorities have struggled to contain religious violence, officials said Sunday.
Assailants launched "sophisticated attacks" on several villages near Jos early Saturday, said Mustapha Salisu, spokesman for a special taskforce made up of policemen and soldiers deployed in the area to curb years of violence.

"They came in hundreds," Salisu said. "Some had (police) uniforms and some even had bulletproof vests."

He said the special taskforce fought back for hours and lost two policemen in the battle. Salisu initially said that 37 people were killed including 14 civilians and 21 assailants.

However, later in the day, Nigerian Red Cross official Andronicus Adeyemo said aid workers had counted 52 dead and more than 300 displaced people from the attacks. He did not give a breakdown....

Mark Lipdo, who runs a Christian advocacy group known as the Stefanos Foundation, gave a list of the 13 villages where he got reports of attacks. He said they were all Christian.

He blamed Muslim herdsmen of the Fulani ethnic group for the attacks. However, Nurudeen Abdullahi, Plateau State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Fulani Herdsmen Association, denied any involvement by the herdsmen.

"This a usual propaganda used on our people but we are not the ones that attacked the villages in the area," he said.

Abdullahi accused Christian farmers of attacking Muslim settlements and stealing their cows....

Yeah, sure, that's it.

Exactly what happened in the year before civil war broke out in Bosnia. The SDA ( main Muslim party ), the Muslim section of the Bosnian security forces and the Patriotic Front ( a huge and armed private Muslim Army numbering some 100,000 plus ) all but merged, it became all but impossible to tell them apart. The Muslim police officers would "recruit" wholly unsuitable officers from the ranks of the Patriotic Front, who'd be armed from the police arsenals, etc, going so far as to send them abroad to be trained.

Exactly the same is happening in Nigeria.

The icing on the Jihadist cake is they get the "the Infidels provoked us" line in the local newspapers. How much do you want to bet, when civil war breaks out in full in Nigeria it'll be the Infidels who are blamed by the media, again, just like Bosnia.

That's a declaration of war...if the country has a military they should respond immediately because the violent pious Muslims ain't going away any time soon...they'll be back...and more lives will be lost...

What can I say?

You are right out there on the front-line with a target painted on your shirt.

The only advice I can give is to look up a man called Orde Wingate, who helped teach the Haganah - the Jewish self-defence force, that became the IDF - how to fight, how to defend themselves against Muslim raiders. Find out what he taught them.

You may have to create, where you are, something like the Haganah; for, just as the Jews in 'Mandatory Palestine' couldn't rely on the British police and army to protect them from Muslim attackers, you don't seem to be able to rely on the local Nigerian police and military.

I clicked on the link and read the whole of the article.

I noticed already that the byline is Ahmed Saka - that is, a Muslim.

At the bottom of the article it lists two other local contributors.

"Yinka Ibukun in Lagos and Bashir Adigun in Abuja, Nigeria".

'Yinka Ibukun' sounds like a non-Muslim name, but 'Bashir Adigun' is Muslim.

So Associated Press is giving us a story about Muslims attacking Christians (and blaming the victims for 'provoking' the Muslims), that has been relayed through by two Muslims and one non-Muslim, the main writer being...Muslim.

The Nigerian Christians are appealing to what they still see as the world's strongest Christian nation, to help them.

As reported by a Nigerian news outfit, the 'Vanguard', online, English-language:
