Living in the South (I know, most people think that S. Florida is part of NYC) I have run across more than a few homophobes in my time. It was especially bad during the Anita Bryant days of the 70's. I used to think that it was impossible to make someone do something that was patently against their nature. If the underware bomber could be coerced into doing something like this then by extension it is possible to make anyone do something that is abhorrent to their own nature, and that opens a whole new category of evil acts to perpetrate on us infidels.

In a disturbing post-script to the ass-bomber - the maker of that particular IED was none less than his own brother, Ibrahim al-Asiri - the so-called 'evil genius' of AQAP. Ray Ibrahim's article explains for the first time how he convinced his brother Abdullah to turn himself into a human bomb in order to kill the Saudi Prince.

Seriously, I wonder whether this widespread yet undercover aspect of Islam is at the root of why gay groups have been oddly ambivalent about Islamic hatred and persecution of homosexuals. Sort of the same phenomenon as when many prominent Nazis were "butch" homosexuals that despised "femme" homosexuals. Yes, that is allegedly "hate speech," but it has a substantial amount of factual truth to it, if one is honest. I personnally only look at these issues in historical patterns, as I couldn't care less if someone is attracted to the same sex.

Also related to this is the sexual abuse of boys in the madrassas, which is so horrendous that once the mainstream media focus on it (lol), it will make the Catholic problems look miniscule by comparison. And you can bet the imams will not be as sorry and contrite as the bishops.

Apologists agree with such frank jihadists on the goal of Islam, which is to impose sharia and make Islam dominant, victorious, supreme. But the apologists more pragmatically and prudently see the bigger picture, and realize that such actions, and the failure to conceal those actions, are bad for Islam's image. Both apologists and narrow-minded jihadists, though, agree with Islam's goal. Apologists stretch and torture words as badly as this jihadist was willing to stretch and torture his anus--all for the Cause of Allah.

Most of the ideas attributed to Islam by popular media were in fact merely transmitted by Muslims from the Hindu/Buddhist East (number zero, algebra, "Arabic" numbers) to the West, were invented by persecuted Christian and Jewish Arabic speakers (Greek-like philosophy, sciences) existing under Islamic theocracies if they pay the jizya tax and live under Islamic Jim Crow laws, or were invented by people who were deemed Islamic apostates in their own time and slated for death under sharia, who have only been semi-reclaimed by the Muslim theocrats in a cynical PR attempt to fool non-Muslims (achieving great success among the useful idiots in the West).
