My prayers are with you and with all our brave non-Muslim soldiers and policemen - of every non-Muslim country - who are on the front lines against 'hot' or combat Jihad, yet in many cases have not been fully informed as to what they are dealing with.

Watch your back, if you're anywhere within dar al Islam. Beware of all Muslims. As a soldier - a defender of the non-Muslim state - you are a prime target, most especially when you are 'off-duty' and therefore perceived by them to be less dangerous and more vulnerable.

May I ask how you discovered this site? I hope you have shared it with other GIs...and with their families, their wives, girlfriends, parents, and teenage children.

I hope that you and your mates - off-base, if necessary, when on home leave - have read Mr Spencer's book "Onward Muslim Soldiers".

Other inspiring works that are not heavy going are C S Forester's "The Barbary Pirates" which is an easy to read account of America's first campaign against a Muslim enemy, and Winston Churchill's "The Story of the Malakand Field Force", which describes what happened when the British Empire (in defence of the lands of the Raj) went up against Mohammedans in what is now the 'North West Province" of Pakistan, and in Afghanistan. Just the first chapter, 'The Theatre of War', is an admirable 'briefing session'. Another excellent book about war in Muslim Afghanistan is John Masters
- "Bugles and a Tiger: My Life in the Gurkha Regiment". On the enemy side, there is S K Malik's "The Quranic Concept of War" (Mr Spencer discusses it and provides excerpts in his 'Onward Muslim Soldiers', but you might like to try tracking down the original).

Soldier's guide to surviving Afghanistan war - written 92 years ago

"A 24-page diary by Corporal Charles Kavanagh, written in 1919, told how insurgents ambushed and murdered British soldiers.
He even described how Afghan militia would dress as women in burkas to approach a British camp.
Cpl Kavanagh lied about his age to join the Cheshire Regiment at 15 and was sent to the Third Anglo-Afghan War in May to August 1919.
He wrote: “The endurance and experience gained by the tribesman from years of incessant raiding make him a formidable enemy. He will sometimes hide his rifle and appear as a peaceful villager.”
One tip to young recruits was: “Avoid shaking hands with a strange Pathan. They will seize with their left hand and stab with their right.”'

I do not know how long you have been reading here, and what you have read, so I will take the liberty of offering a few links to articles that I personally found helpful in getting my head around what a man called 'Hugh Fitzgerald' used to call "The Meaning and Menace of Islam", and that I only wish every enlisted man and every Infidel cop had read before ever they go into the field or onto the 'beat' where they are liable to meet Mohammedans.

1/ The French writer Jacques Ellul (member of the Resistance during WWII), writing about Jihad by way of foreword to a book about Islam's impact on Eastern Christian communities. Only a few pages but he sums everything up beautifully. In the early 1990s.

2/ An American lawyer, Patrick L Moore, writing in more detail about Jihad. You might find you have to read and re-read it and pay close attention, but it is spot-on; a good article for officers - and aspiring officers - to read. This was also published in the early 1990s.

She is talking about Israel's war of self-defence against the genocidal Jihad waged upon it by the Jew-hating Ummah, the entire Mohammedan Mob; but her words apply just as truly to the war of self-defence, the war of sheer survival, that the entire non-Muslim world (African, Indian, Asian, European) has had to fight and has been - in disorganised and often unknowing and ineffective manner - fighting ever since the Mohammedan locust hordes began to swarm from the Middle East, killing, slaving, robbing, raping, laying waste on three continents (and now today the Mohammedan vanguard are also in the Americas and Australia, preparing their advance bases).

thank you for your support and I found out about this site from Robert Spencer's books. I've read the book Stealth Jihad and my girlfriend has met him and Ms.Geller SIOA conferences. There has been alot of tension at the bases due to the recent attempts of attacks. You may know about Fort Hood, and security is tighter. Many guys in my unit have heard about this site. We've been studying on taking precaution when talking to locals once we are deployed.

Thank you, you don't know how much it means to have your support. It really means alot to all of us.

FYI: One of the things they test you on when you join the Foreign Service of the USA is whether or not you can think on your feet. Bolton's conversational fluency is thus no surprise to me. Where he stands head and shoulders above the rest is in his ability to see through and beyond the current received wisdom. I hope he becomes SecState or something like that if the O's kicked out in November.

I don't know whether you are a religious person or not, but I hope that these two great invocations, Christian and Jewish, may have some power to guard you in that dark, dark place that is Afghanistan.

It was girlfriend's book and she let me have it. Me and my pals are in 174th infantry the "Patriots" so it means after all of the training is done it's right to Afghan but right now we staying on the reserve till further notice.

You and the other guys who may read here: say as little as possible about your location/s and likely deployment. You don't want to give away *too* much info about yourself and what you're doing. Remember, the Enemy lurks here too - 'the walls have ears'.

Let any lurking and listening Enemy know only this, which might rattle them a bit: that more and more of our young fighting men *know* what they (the Ummah, or Mohammedan mob) are about, and how they (the Mohammedans) operate. That the days of being able to smilingly fool and manipulate and bushwhack naive, trusting young Infidel soldiers may soon be well and truly over.

PS So your *girlfriend* is the one who put you onto Mr Spencer's work. Good on her! Sounds like she's a smart girl who wants her man to have his best shot at surviving deployment. I wonder how many girlfriends, wives, sisters, mums and grandmas are doing similar?...finding out about Islam, reading the enemy's book, and then informing and warning their men in the field. Never mind about knitting socks...in this war, for ladies and gents, being on the home front means reading, reading, reading and then educating, educating, educating. And getting involved with groups like ACT for America, SION, Q Society (in Australia) and such.

It's all good, we are allowed to state our battalion's name but that's it. It's a form of pride, and thank you about my girlfriend her parents are orthodox Christians from Iran. Her mother and father fled Iran during the islamic revolution so her family has witness the terror of Islam first hand. She is a student studying journalism and has been researching on islamic terrorism and what is behind the ideology.
