India: Muslim mob misunderstands Islam after Friday prayers, targeting media, torching vehicles and beating up bystanders

Unfortunately, both in France and in India, politicians have realized that they need the Muslim vote to win elections, and the Muslims know this too.

Hence, the Muslim society in each of these countries is asking the politicians to ignore Muslim debauchery and violence, in exchange for votes.

Thus, in India, the police were ordered not to arrest the rioters till Eid celebrations were over. In France, a woman causing a public riot was let go in the spirit of Ramadan.

The path ahead looks grim, indeed.

Yes I always laugh to myself when I see the flowing white robes & skull caps of devout Muslims Softly Bob. I always think to myself: "What, do you think you're a holy person or something do you? Your "perfect man" & final prophet was a mass murdering pedophile, & you are now following him down that same dark path.

Well spotted. Very astute observation.

Because I encountered that mindset to a T on the one and only mosque 'open day' that I - accompanied by my rather nervous husband, who was there to keep a prudent brake on the temper bequeathed to me by my Scots and Irish forebears - attended. The Syrian Mohammedan doing the 'presentation' about what Muslims believe was dressed in his nice white robe. As he proceeded to describe the antihistorical ahistorical Mohammedan account of somebody called 'the prophet Isa' whom he claimed was the same as our Jesus, he made some remark about the similarity of what he, the Muslim, was wearing, and what Jesus would have worn, with the clear implication that he (the Muslim) was thus showing more 'respect' to Jesus, and imitating him better, than we Christians in our modern clothes.

ROFLMAO. I didn't think of smiling sweetly and inquiring, "sooo, then, I assume you don't use a prayer mat and stick your bum in the air but, rather, stand and address God in a dignified fashion with a Hebrew prayer shawl draped over your head?". I wish I had. But at the time I remember simply boggling at his assumption that a Muslim wearing something vaguely similar to what Jesus *might* have worn is respecting Jesus more than a Christian who wears modern dress; a Christian who tries to imitate Jesus' *conduct* and obey Jesus' *teachings*. (Muslims are similarly fond of claiming that 'Mary wore a veil' and that therefore all Christian women should wear the Mohammedan slave rag just like Mohammedan females do).

Islam is **all about** the most superficial externals.

LemonLime, I do not have the data you seek, but know anecdotally that Bollywood is dominated by Muslims and Punjabi Hindu Khatris, the latter mostly refugees from Pakistan. The Pathan Muslim Khans rule the roost as super stars, while the Khatris provide the super stars as well as the business acumen. Some of the top song writers have always been Muslims and Of late, many of the upcoming and hit directors are also young Muslims.

Most of the top Muslim stars have a Hindu connection, with either their mothers or wives or both being Hindus. Many Hindus in the industry have converted to Islam to be able to have a second wife, which is illegal for non-Muslims. The actor Dharmendra and director Mukesh Bhatt come to mind readily. Then some Hindu actresses like Sharmila Tagore have converted to Islam after marriage to Muslims.

The Bombay underworld, always totally dominated by Muslims, has had a dark behind-the-scenes presence in the financing and distribution of Bollywood films. Muslim stars have been known to be chummy with Dawood Ibrahim, a terrorist gangster now sheltered in Pakistan, while Hindu stars have been threatened and asked to pay protection money. Some years ago, a Hindi music and film producer was gunned down in public by Muslim assasins, acting on behalf of a Muslim music director.

Thanks Slamdunk. Fascinating details you provide. With only a superficial exposure to some Bollywood films, I'm struck by how un-Islamic they seem. i wonder what their game is?

Bollywood is an example of the triumph of the Market. These films are shown and enjoyed all over the Muslim world, especially in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Gulf regions, where Hindi/Urdu is common. The Mullahs dutifully assert themselves often enough to ban these films or destroy the dvds, but people throughout the Muslim world always end up getting what they want - whether it is whiskey or Bollywood entertainment. This huge Muslim market, including that in India, also means a self-censorship and avoidance of controversial themes. Muslims are usually the nice friendly and loyal sidekicks while heroes and rogues are Hindus. Christians feature as the jolly, lovable drunkard or the pious priest who shelters and raises the Hindu single mother or the lost twin.

And sorry, that should have been Mahesh (not Mukesh) Bhatt in my previous post.

If so, it proves that Muslims can produce corny, cheesy, sappy B-movies. There's hope for them yet!

LemonLime, my guess is half of them have Muslim heroes like Aamir Khan and Sharukh Khan, while the heroines, like Aishwarya and Kajol are all Hindus. Muslims may not always be the producers of these films, but Muslim audiences seem to especially love these 'masala' films and I wouldn't be surprised if they form the bulk of the repeat viewers.

The name of the game is always the bottom line, money.
With over a hundred Bolly films released a year (major productions), these producers can’t fail to produce hits because these films do take a lot of their money and investor money.
If their films bomb they won’t attract the good actors an d actresses. Bollywood is quite secular and they don’t want a muslim prostylizing on screen cause that turn s off people , so they will keep producing these films that attract the mass audience.

The real danger of people seeing these films with muslim actors is that it brainwashes them into thinking all muslim are secular, love Indian, respect the Hindu religion and culture so they could just get married to a muslim and it would be no problem.
It’s kind of a dawa and islamic stealth jihad in subtle brainwashing of non msulims. Some of these muslim actors turn quite pious when they get older, and are proud of doing their part in stealth jihad to convert all of India to islam.
Incedently in the ten films you show, you choose one which I liked , Mohra, this one has Hindu actresses, Raveena and Hindu actor Aksay kumar. Directed by a Hindu producer, who himself escaped an assassination attempt by the Mumbai underground.
