Jihad terror group Hizballah operating openly in Europe

What could go wrong? Eurabia Update: "Despite Alarm by U.S., Europe Lets Hezbollah Operate Openly," by Nicholas Kulish for the New York Times, August 15 (thanks to Lachlan):

BERLIN — As American officials sound the alarm over what they call a resurgent threat from the Shiite militant group Hezbollah, thousands of its members and supporters operate with few restrictions in Europe, raising money that is funneled to the group’s leadership in Lebanon.

Israeli and American officials have blamed Hezbollah and Iran for last month's deadly Bulgarian bus bombing.

Washington and Jerusalem insist that Hezbollah is an Iranian-backed terrorist organization with bloody hands, and that it is working closely with Tehran to train, arm and finance the Syrian military’s lethal repression of the uprising there. Yet, the European Union continues to treat it foremost as a Lebanese political and social movement.

As Israel heightens fears of a pre-emptive strike on Iran’s nuclear sites, intelligence analysts warn that Iran and Hezbollah would respond with attacks of their own on targets abroad. Israeli and American officials have attributed the Bulgarian bus bombing last month that killed six people, including five Israeli tourists, to Hezbollah and Iran, saying it was part of a clandestine offensive that has included plots in Thailand, India, Cyprus and elsewhere.

While the group is believed to operate all over the Continent, Germany is a center of activity, with 950 members and supporters last year, up from 900 in 2010, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency said in its annual threat report. On Saturday, Hezbollah supporters and others will march here for the annual Jerusalem Day event, a protest against Israeli control of that city. Organizers told the Berlin police that the event would attract 1,000 marchers, and that two counterdemonstrations were also likely.

Hezbollah has maintained a low profile in Europe since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, quietly holding meetings and raising money that goes to Lebanon, where officials use it for an array of activities — building schools and clinics, delivering social services and, Western intelligence agencies say, carrying out terrorist attacks.

European security services keep tabs on the group’s political supporters, but experts say they are ineffective when it comes to tracking the sleeper cells that pose the most danger. “They have real, trained operatives in Europe that have not been used in a long time, but if they wanted them to become active, they could,” said Alexander Ritzmann, a policy adviser at the European Foundation for Democracy in Brussels, who has testified before Congress on Hezbollah.

The European Union’s unwillingness to place the group on its list of terrorist organizations is also complicating the West’s efforts to deal with the Bulgarian bus bombing and the Syrian conflict. The week after the attack in Bulgaria, Israel’s foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, traveled to Brussels for a regular meeting with European officials, where he called for the European Union to include Hezbollah on the list. But his pleas fell on deaf ears.

“There is no consensus among the E.U. member states for putting Hezbollah in the terrorist-related list of the organizations,” Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, the foreign minister of Cyprus, which holds the European Union’s rotating presidency, said at the time. “Should there be tangible evidence of Hezbollah engaging in acts of terrorism, the E.U. would consider listing the organization.”...

The Netherlands declared Hezbollah a terrorist organization in 2004, saying that it did not distinguish between the group’s political and terrorist wings. Britain distinguishes between the parts, listing only the militant wing....

That's like considering the National Socialists benign because they ran soup kitchens.

Keffiyeh and Yarmulke wearers have never been in greater danger of extermination. The coming attack by Israel on Iran would result in a retaliation that would kill most Jews and destroy thousands of synagogues. Every nuclear bomb in the Israeli arsenal would then be used, 85% of Sunnis, Shi`ites and their Mosques would cease to exist. The few survivors will trash their Torah`s and Koran`s, they will only worship oil wealth and Shekels. The words Shalom and Allahu Akbar will be forgotten.

"That's like considering the National Socialists benign because they ran soup kitchens."---

Just like the SPLC. Coincidence? nope, same tactics.

So all of Europe is now “Vichy France”? SHAME!

The Western democracies are in a state of severe degeneracy. They are not any better than they were in 1938.

Ruslan Tokhchukov, EnragedSince1999.

I perceive one glimmer of sanity in the midst of all this gutless dhimmitude.

"The Netherlands declared Hezbollah a terrorist organization in 2004, saying that it did not distinguish between the group’s political and terrorist wings."

Good on the Dutch. And I'll bet that Wilders and his Freedom Party are busy making sure that this declaration stays firmly in place.

I would encourage all Resistance organisations in the UK and on the Continent to include in their agenda a demand that bodies like Hezbollah, Fethullah Gulen, Hizb ut Tahrir, Tablighi Jamaat, etc etc and so forth - Jihad front and/ or recruitment groups all - be banned and their members and activities relentlessly scrutinised and pursued.

The supposedly-benign 'social welfare' activities of the Mohammedan Mafiosi - such as Hezbollah - should be thought of as PR, human shielding, and camouflage.

And speaking of human shielding and camouflage: who wants to bet that, one and all, those 'schools, clinics', 'orphanages' and 'hospitals' maintained by Hezbollah in Lebanon do not have jihad command-and-control bunkers and/ or arsenals and magazines and other sorts of military installations hidden underneath them?

Ladies and gentlemen

if you go to the original article, there are some 470 Comments.

Most are utterly clueless; many betray virulent Jew-hatred; but *some* show intelligence and Islamo-awareness.

I am about to peruse the lot, to see what turns up, and to try to see how many Jihad-aware Infidels read articles like that.

I am now partway through that mountain of comments.

I have encountered so much vicious and vile Jew-hatred, nonsense and lies, spewed either by dhimmified non-Muslim Jew-haters eagerly carrying water for the Jihad against the Jews, or by Mohammedans in masks, that I am feeling like someone who has stepped into a cess pool.

There are, however, a few islands of sanity.

Question: if there is someone else here who is familiar with how the NYT 'Comments' section works - HOW, how, how does one 'recommend' a comment (as opposed to flagging it)?

I would dearly like to be able to add a positive click to the minority of sane, decent and Islamosavvy comments, but at present I simply cannot figure out where the button is for that.

Pick of the comments so far.

Somebody called 'Guy' quoted from the article: '"Hezbollah is a social and political movement"
and then asked plaintively, "So why when i google "Hezbollah" in google images 90% of the images that comes up are of soldiers wearing uniforms and holding guns???'

To which someone called Richard replied, "Of course it's a "Social club" they get together and launch Rockets."

I am now about halfway through the Comments to that NYT article.

I need a bath. Oh dear god I need a bath.

i have never waded through such a spew of incredibly vile, false, vicious, Jew-hating nonsense and lies and sheer unmitigated BS as I have been reading in comment after comment after comment.

Impossible to figure out whether they're from dhimmi Jew haters who have glommed onto the Jihad bandwagon because they just loooove the way the Muslims propose to kill lots and lots of joooz; or whether they're from Mohammedans in masks pretending to be *western* Jew-haters...

The islands of clarity, facts, sanity, truth and decency are few and far between; like tiny islands in a stinking swamp full of snakes.

Enjoy your bath. Keep going, sister.

That's funny, that's EXACTLY how I felt after reading the Koran from cover to cover. ???

Any connection you think?

May I ask, have you read the Koran through from beginning to end in a short time?
I got a MUCH different IMMERSIVE experience, in terms of revulsive impact, than I get from just reading a quotation here and there.
Single quotations from the Koran just seem to go in one ear and out the other, without really conveying that realistic sense of having just seen a "snuff film" ( I imagine).
Reading the Koran from cover to cover gave me the sense of having been trapped inside the mind of a psychopath.

And don't assume that just because someone is a so-called "Muslim" that he's an expert on Islam and that he's actually read the Koran, most Muslims haven't read the Koran, most Muslims can't read.

It used to be said that when a father found his son smoking behind the barn, he would sit him down and have him smoke a whole cigar.
After the kid got done throwing up, he lost all interest in smoking again for the rest of his life.
I've thought the same thing might work for Islam.
The easiest way to make Islam disappear might be to require that everyone sit down and actually read the whole Koran from cover to cover.

When I talk to anyone about the problem of Islam I'd dearly like to know whether or not they've actually even read the whole Koran from cover to cover.

By the way, did I ever mention, the cure for Islam is to "Read the Koran".

The enabler of vicious people in comments (which is extremely common) is the $200 computer and a cheap dial up connection...Armed with these, the depraved and perverted assault all reasonable people...Nothing is beyond them in terms of spewing poison and threats...One thing I notice about them, is they can dish it out, but they can't take it...When possible, I remind these people of their self worth, which is zero...And boy do they hate that...

This is hardly surprising, in UK they students proudly proclaim "fund raising" for Palestine without hiding the fact the funds are for Hamas and Hisbullah and you will find the street fundraising for "Palestine" while also campaigning "boycotting Israeli products."
It's disgusting, three years ago, I talked to Special Branch about this, and though they are also disgusted, they said their hands are tied in the name of "community cohesion."

It wasn't the article I was reacting to; it was a whole slew of the **comments** to the article.

Re. reading the Quran.

I read it first, ages and ages ago: well before September 11 2001, maybe sometime during the 1990s. In the N Dawood translation, Penguin books, paperback.

I picked up on the violence, the relentless hostility toward Jews and Christians, and the contempt for women (the wife-beating verse is impossible to miss) and I got a nasty vibe off the rewritten (and badly distorted/ reversed/ turned upside down and inside out) figures and stories that were *just* recognisable as having been plagiarised from the Bible. More obvious than anything else was the scrambled, garbled flavour of it, and the endless repetition that became deadly boring.

I pegged it as a creepy, violent 'cult' text.

I think in translation it is stripped of the superficial enchantment of the poetic form it has in the original; it loses its power to hypnotise.

Like poison poured out of a crystal vial into an old tin cup.

Still poison, just doesn't *look* pretty any more.

Personally, however, I think the real, naked, full-on nastiness is in the Sira, in the labyrinth of the Hadiths, and in the al-Tabari 'history'. I haven't tried to read too much of the Hadiths, but what I have seen is mind-numbing.

Thanks for your response, very informative.
Yes, I was referring to your response to the comments, not the original article.
I intended to read the Hadiths, but after finishing the Koran I'd had enough, I couldn't face the prospect of doing any more psychic damage, for the same reason I won't watch the "Nick Berg" beheading videos.
Those things change and stay with a person.

I know that the highest priority for our politicians at the highest level is OIL, and so, without knowing much about Islam, they compromise and take Islam along with the oil.
From that flawed decision and policy flow almost all of the consequences that we discuss and rail against here at JW, "Hizballah operating openly in Europe" being just one of innumerable examples.

I still think that if our leaders knew as much about Islam as you do they'd not accept Islam along with the Oil; they wouldn't accept Islam at all.
I think that if our leaders knew enough about Western Civilization on the one hand and Islam on the other, (as someone like Churchill did) they'd never accept Islam and they'd find a different solution to the oil supply problem.
The happy result would be that we'd have nothing to talk about here at JW.

Israel have than history of doing terrorist attack than placeing the blame on other people as this video show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IheJ2Rohz1c&NR=1
