Kentucky: Muslim pleads guilty to misunderstanding Islam, conspiring to send weapons, cash and explosives to al-Qaeda

"Hammadi's defense attorney, Jim Earhart of Louisville, said his client 'grew up in a different world' and never intended to get caught up in shipping weapons and explosives to al-Qaida in Iraq," but you know how these things can just happen to someone. You can be just going about your business, walking the dog, buying groceries, and whammo! Suddenly you find yourself shipping weapons to al-Qaeda! I hate when that happens.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - An Iraqi man pleaded guilty Tuesday to 10 charges of conspiring to send weapons, cash and explosives to al-Qaida in Iraq and two counts of lying to federal immigration agents to get into the United States and stay in the country.
Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 24, gave simple "yes" and "I plead guilty" answers to questions from U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell in federal court in Louisville. The surprise plea came a week before Hammadi was set to stand trial on the charges in Bowling Green, Ky., where he and a co-defendant were arrested in May 2011 after a federal sting operation.

Hammadi, who did not have a plea agreement with prosecutors, faces 25 years to life in federal prison plus millions of dollars in fines when he's sentenced Dec. 5. He had been scheduled for trial Aug. 28 in Bowling Green. The co-defendant, 30-year-old Waad Ramadan Alwan, previously pleaded guilty and is scheduled for sentencing Oct. 3 in Bowling Green.

The plea came as good news to soldiers who fought near the city of Bayji, Iraq, in the Sunni Triangle north of Baghdad in 2005, where Hammadi and Alwan told the FBI they worked as insurgents. Six Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers died in that area in August 2005 and Hammadi and Alwan told the FBI and an informant that they were active insurgents there....

Hammadi's defense attorney, Jim Earhart of Louisville, said his client "grew up in a different world" and never intended to get caught up in shipping weapons and explosives to al-Qaida in Iraq. Earhart described Hammadi as willing to plead guilty rather than go through the rigors of a trial to achieve the same result.

"He's hesitant. He's 24 years-old," Earhart said. "He's looking at 25 years to life. Who wouldn't be?"

Earlier in the day at a pre-trial hearing, U.S. Justice Department attorney Larry Schneider said the government has "definitive proof" linking Hammadi to insurgent attacks after the American-led invasion of Iraq....

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian Calhoun spelled out nine charges against Hammadi involving attempts to ship sniper rifles, cases of C4 explosives, rocket propelled grenades, hand grenades, machine guns and wads of cash to al-Qaida in Iraq from January 2011 until the sting operation closed in May 2011. Calhoun also laid out count 10, which involved an attempt to send Stinger missile systems and counts 11 and 12, which charged Hammadi with lying about prior associations with terrorist organizations on a form to enter the United States as a refugee and another form seeking permanent legal resident status....

*Based on what*? He was a Jihad "insurgent" in Iraq—it's not as though he thought he was sending a few extra bucks to relatives back in the 'old country' or something, and they decided to misuse his largess—he knew *exactly* what this funding of Jihad entailed, because he is a full-fledged Jihadist himself.

He lied. He lied, lied, lied, lied, lied.

Of course he lied. He was waging Jihad by infiltrating himself into the USA, all the better to wage war for the Ummah, or Mohammedan Mob, from within the territory that he regards as behind enemy lines, in the heart of Dar al Harb, the 'region of war'.

He was following Mohammed's dictum: "War is deceit".

However: there is just one small thing to be thankful for, in all this sh*t.

He does not seem to have gone so far as the Times Square would-be jihad bomber did: he does not seem actually to have acquired American *citizenship*. I am assuming that he merely has 'permanent legal residency'.

Can *that* be cancelled, on the basis of what he has done? For it surely ought to be.

Further note: in prison, he should be kept separate from non-Muslim prisoners, so as to prevent him from engaging in 'prison da'wa', recruitment for the Death Cult/ organised Crime Syndicate aka the Ummah or Mohammedan Mob.

He'll be 49 when he completes his sentence, still able-bodied and able to cause a hell of a lot of trouble; so, sentence served, he should be deported, stripped of everything but the clothes he stands up in, and consigned to somewhere like Yemen or Somalia where he can only harm other Muslims; and with all his identifying particulars right down to retina scan, voiceprint and dna samples placed on record and supplied to the gatekeepers of every majority non-Muslim country, with instructions that anyone answering his description must be barred from entering.

(In fact, I would favour deporting him to Yemen or Somalia straight away, under the conditions already described, so as to save as much taxpayer money as possible. Sentence him to Life in dar al Islam; with any luck one of his ever-lovin' bruvvas will dispose of him in a 'turf war').

Jihadists seem to have just two modes when it comes to court pleas in the West: complete, implausible, whining denial, like this clown; or else crowing embrace of their savagery in the name of Allah, where they use as much court time as possible for Da'wa and undermining the Infidel.

Good points, DDA. And yes, we *can* deport this barbarian when his sentence is up. The only thing is that we will never be able to send his sorry ass to Yemen or Somalia or northern Mali or whatever Islamic hell hole happens to be most hellish at that time—he'll have to go back to Iraq.

Like you, I think we should be able to ship any vile Mohammedan back to Dar-al-Islam who has been proven to have lied for his residence or citizenship—but, alas, I don't see this happening anytime soon.

Citizenship is treated as sacrosanct in America—something I also generally hold. The problem is, of course, that this principle is made a mockery of by Jihadists who lie to obtain that citizenship.

Maybe we will eventually get a clue—I'm not sure what it would take, though...

This is a problem throughout the West, but in the U.S. perhaps most of all.
