Syria: Christian family beheaded, Christians attacked at funeral

You find these explanations given by all Christians across the region -

they have to justify why they are being attacked or repressed - in some fashion - that makes little sense to the rest of us.

Like the Christians in Egypt were attacked after waiting 'eight years' for permission from the government to fix a church dome that was crumbling - once they got started on construction locals came out to throw rocks at them - which turned into a bloody mess. [Which often lead to Christian arrests!!]

But in it all the Christians grovelingly tried to explain - that the dome had become dangerous - and so needed repair. In an almost dhimmi mind-set - they kind of reflect the society that they live in.

In the west there would be no thought given to this - you get an estimate - and construction can begin.

In Iran - to explain long established church forced closures by the state - the Christian quoted blamed the new evangelical style Christians - where converts from Islam would be invited into the church - which is illegal in Iran.

Some of these loud mouthed - people should going after this fictitious 'Islamophobia' should go over there to these regions and live as a Christian for awhile. And get back to us after that.

You simply cannot explain away reason for beheading an entire family!

That is a HUGELY interesting idea.

What you would be doing by setting up enclaves for all the threatened minorities in Syria and Egypt and probably Lebanon is to create a whole lot of little Israels.
We could sit back and watch the whole history of Islamic rage against Israel play out all over again, but this time much speeded up, and this time against Christians and Copts and Alawites etc.
It would be like studing the infection of Islam in a petri dish.
We could protect the Syrian Christians or Copts ( within their own country by the way ) by putting them in a safe little jail cell, and then watch the Hyenas of Islam fling themselves in rage at the bars of the jail cell while the inmates would be safe inside, but cringing and cowering and trembling in fear at the prospect of what would happen to them when the hyenas finally break through the bars.
We could watch the Islamists gin up some phony argument about the Middle East being the exclusive province of Islam and all others are colonists and have no right to exist when it would be so obvious that the Christians and Copts were there a thousand years before Mohammed.
What an interesting little thought experiment.

Lest you misunderstand the trend of my comment, I support Israel.
I consider Israel an example of an "EthnoState".
I consider Zionism another name for EthnoState.
I support the idea of ethnostates for the Copts and Christians and Jews and everyone ( except muslims ).
I support the idea of the world wide legitimacy of the EthnoState concept as an alternative to the despotic totalitarian idea of the "One World Government" of the utopian dictators, whether those dictators are Islamic or the Socialist/Communist dictators on the Left.

I agree with you 100%. unless they live in their own countires the muslims keep slaughtering them. there is no other way. a separtae state is a must here.

The trick is to make sure that these non-Muslim ethnostates are in naturally defensible locations. Geography, as well as demography, is destiny...

Christian Abyssinia/ Ethiopia survived over a millennium in the midst of a Muslim sea, simply because its core territory is a massive, well-watered natural fortress. (they could do with a *lot* of help and encouragement right now; their Muslim 'minority' is far too big for safety and getting dangerous and aggressive; to be frank, if Ethiopia wants to avoid being dragged down into Hell, they will have to turf out their Muslims - those who haven't converted to Christianity, quite a few have done so! - into North Sudan or into Somalia).

The Christian community of Lebanon survived because it had Mont Liban - and if the non-Muslim countries of the world had any sense, they would be looking at how to help the Iraqi, Syrian and Maronite Christians consolidate in that ancient refuge region: a compact, militarily defensible core territory with access to the sea, and control over the headwaters of their main freshwater source. Ideally, this Christian Lebanon - from which all Muslims would have to be evicted into Syria and Iraq - would border on Israel, and sans the Muslim element, there would be no real reason why a Christian Lebanon and Jewish Israel should not protect each other's flank.

For Israel to survive longterm, it needs the military high ground - the Golan, the hills of Judea and Samaria (which are full of caves = potential shelters from bombardment and even from nuke attack), and the Negev (similarly full of hills and caves). This area also means it controls and can protect its own water sources. And they will have to evict all the Muslims: there's no other way, since I don't see the Muslims in Judea and Samaria or within Israel itself mass-converting to a philojudaic form of Christianity anytime soon.

The only place the Copts could survive, I think, is in Sinai and Gaza. Gaza actually has good farming land - it used to have fantastic orange orchards - and Sinai has oil and gas. The Copts could get help from the Israelis re. the issue of water: how to find, gather, store, recycle, desalinate, etc. Copts are smart and hard workers and used to surviving on very little; they would do a hell of a lot more with the Gaza Strip, than the current bunch of sharia-addled Muslims are doing. They would turn it into Monaco...(it has great beaches, I'm told). And ideally, the **Copts** would control the Suez Canal...

Boot out all the Muslims from Israel, Judea and Samaria and the Negev and Sinai and Gaza: Christian and secular Copts create Nova Aegyptia in Sinai and Gaza, in alliance with Israel; Christian Lebanese and Christians from Syria and Mesopotamia consolidate in and control a 'Lebanon Redivivus', sans Muslims of any description.

That way, from Sinai up to Mont Liban, along the Mediterranean littoral there, you'd have three non-Muslim states that could act in concert. Each would have a border with a non-Muslim state as well as with dar al Islam. Each would have access to the sea (for tourism, trade, fishing, and the projection of sea power), and mountain or hill country. And then they just have to 'hold their ground' with a little help from the rest of us.

I know, none better, that from one POV, and certainly under the conditions that currently prevail in the West and the rest of the non-Muslim world, and given the influence - over governments in all kinds of places - of the oil-funded Islamintern, this scenario is utterly impossible and improbable.

But hey, if Muslims can dream caliphate dreams, why can't we non-Muslims start dreaming some wild dreams, too? Dreams of rescue and restoration. Dreams of a future and a hope.

I will add that two countries that must not be allowed to fall and fail, are South Sudan and East Timor. Both have significant oil reserves. And they constitute two chunks of turf very, very recently snatched from the iron claws of the Empire of Islam. They need intelligent help and lots of it, to help them **hold their ground**; East Timor on the far eastern front of the Global Jihad, South Sudan in a key part of the African front.

I have these dreams, although I had not thought them out in these words. It describes what Christians have because of their belief in the return of Christ, the Savior.

I hope I have not offended any here who are not Christian, but I also appreciate those who, although perhaps having a different belief, don't mind the rest of us talking about "Dreams of rescue and restoration. Dreams of a future and a hope."

Before that dream can happen politicians here in the USA,
and elsewhere, must understand and clearly state that Islam

I'm an Aussie.

An Aussie Christian matron whose best subjects, in high school, were History, Geography, and English Literature. And among whose favourite reading, when I was a young teenager, was a wonderful old geographical/ historical encyclopaedia, dating from the 1920s-1940s (i.e. originally published in the 1920s, but the version I had was the 1940s revised/ updated edition) called "Lands and Peoples'. Parts of it are outdated but a lot of it is still very useful as a reference work. It's from sources like that, that I first learned something of the history of places like Lebanon and Ethiopia.

As for peace...alas, there were plenty of wars and rumours of wars before Islam, and genocides (the Cambodian genocide took place outside of dar al Islam, inflicted by non-Muslims upon non-Muslims) and if Islam per miraculum went into the dustbin where the Thuggee cult, the cult of Cybele, the cult of Odin Glutter of the Crows, the cult of Moloch and the Aztec cult now reside, humans in various places would still find excuses for fighting and killing each other. The world would be a somewhat better place - as we are all better off, without the Thuggees, so we would be better off, if Islam were gone, or drastically weakened and reduced in influence - but that's the most that can be said.

Your concept/dream of three contiguous Democracies,
Nova Aegytia--Israel--Lebanon Redivivus, sans Muslims,
able & willing to support and defend one another is one
that I truly wish comes to pass one day in the near future.
