They are **not** Australians. They are merely savage, uncivilised mohammedans, who have acquired Australian passports.

I didn't notice in the article that they had immigrated to Australia.

It is quite possible that one or both are native born Australians.

I think you're right Softly. The fathers have failed abysmally to protect their daughters. But we're talking Islam here....

If so, they can only be a/ persons of non-Muslim background who have converted to a form of Islam that observes the Shafiite school of sharia (which says that excision of the clitoris of the woman is **obligatory**), or b/the offspring (children or grandchildren) of Shafiite Muslim immigrants to Australia.

The Shafiite school of sharia - the same school that prevails in Egypt and north-eastern Africa where FGM is rampant - is *also* the main school followed **in Indonesia** (which country, unlike north/east Africa [where FGM started out as a pre-Islamic custom that was happily absorbed and assiduously perpetuated by Islam], did NOT practice clitoral excision as part of its *pre-Islamic* culture, so the fact that clitoral excision is practised among Muslims in Indonesia today - and it IS - can *only* be sheeted home to Islam). And since Indonesia is, as the media never tire of telling us, 'the world's most populous Muslim country', *that* means that ...the world's most populous Muslim country follows the school of sharia law that views the cutting out of the clitoris as mandatory (two other schools see it as optional, i.e. as good but not absolutely required; the fourth school of Sunni sharia says nuthin' at all, but does NOT *condemn* or *forbid* the practice).

I'd guess that they took their kid to Bali for the op because it is the part of Indonesia that it is easiest and cheapest to get to, from Australia. Bali is majority Hindu, but there is a big enough resident Muslim population, that these Muslim parents would have had no difficulty finding a resident sharia-steeped sexual sadist to mutilate their poor little kid.

And I read *this*:

That line - 'not to cut too much' (but how much is too much? a woman's genitals are so finely detailed that *any* cutting and hacking about is going to cause harm; it's rather like that other Islamic line about beating women 'lightly'...what constitutes a 'light' beating?) is straight out of the Hadith and is attributed to Mohammed; supposedly he saw a woman hacking away at a girl's private parts and instead of telling her to STOP!! and issuing a ban on the practice, he merely admonished her 'not to cut too much'.

And then, in that same article from Indonesia, there was this:

'Jafar [Indonesian grandma - dda] noted that every woman in her family has undergone the procedure.

"Even if it is forbidden, we still have to find someone to do it. It is obligatory. We should always try to find someone to do it for us, because we have to.”

Note well that phrase, 'it is obligatory'. And she emphasises it: 'We have to'.

The 'Reliance of the Traveller', one of *the* main compendiums of sharia, in the Shafiite school, states that circumcision of the male and clitorectomy of the female is **obligatory**.
