Egypt: Christian gets six years in prison for insulting Muhammad and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood president

An Egyptian court on Tuesday sentenced a Christian teacher to six years in prison after convicting him of blasphemy and defamation of President Mohamed Morsy and a plaintiff lawyer, according to Egyptian news reports.
The Sohag Misdemeanor Court found Bishoy Kamil Kamel guilty of insulting Prophet Mohamed, sentencing him to three years. He was also sentenced to two years for insulting the country’s president, and another year for insulting a plaintiff lawyer.

Independent daily Al-Watan newspaper said on its website that security has been heightened outside churches in Sohag to preempt any violence in response to the verdict.

Sohag’s prosecutor referred Kamel to trial in August after receiving a complaint from Mohamed Safwat Tammam, 32, accusing Kamel of posting insulting caricatures of Prophet Mohamed on his Facebook page, as well as abusing the country’s president in his comments.

Kamel denied the charges during interrogations, claiming that his account had been hacked. Investigators say they had managed to detect his address through the account and arrested him.

A number of lawsuits have been filed against public figures recently over charges of blasphemy and defaming the president, who belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party....

If there was any violence, it would not be in protest to the terrible injustice Kamel is suffering, but from pious Muslims who believe the sentence is too mild, and that he should be murdered.

**And** in the UK, and before long, the rest of the civilised West. When this story was first posted, I commented that I strongly doubted Mr. Kemal had done anything of the sort, it was far more likely he had been set up by a mohammedan, or mohammedans, for reasons of gain, or spite.

And if the left enablers and islamic supremacists succeed in criminalising criticism of islam, or their repulsive 'prophet', it will be open season on anyone who is critical of the *left*, or our *governments*. All the enemies of freedom will have to do, in order to gain revenge on truth speakers/writers, *anyone* they fear or dislike, for *whatever* reason, will be to accuse them of blasphemy/hate speech/defamation of the disgusting mohammed, and that will be that. Off to the Gulag.

The guardianistas in the UK will have a field day, wreaking revenge on all the truth tellers they hate and fear so much, and the government will be able to wipe out the EDL and the British Freedom Party.

In the US, the sly and slimy aslans and leans will use it to shut down sites like JW, and others who tell the truth about the foul cult and its soi-disant 'prophet.' Any politician who challenges obama's islamophiliac claptrap will be at risk of 'blasphemy' charges.

Soon, the mere **accusation** will be enough to ruin people.

This dreadful, horrific possibility needs to be fought with everything we have. Lots and lots more mocking, sneering, laughing at this evil cult and its disgustingly ridiculous 'prophet', and let our governments know in no uncertain terms, that if they contemplate, or try, to pass any such legislation, they will have revolution/civil war, on their hands.

I wish I was talented, and could draw mocking cartoons of paedomohammed, or make a *better* film than ''Innocence of muslims'', or compose satirical and ribald rhymes about islam and paedomo, but since I can't, **for the moment** I'll content myself with writing letters, signing petitions, discussing and arguing, supporting the EDL and British Freedom in every way I can, and supporting Israel.

Later, if it comes to it, if all other ways have been closed to me, I'll be out on the streets battling **physically**, and I'll go to jail if I have to.

Some people may think this is overreacting, it will never come to that. I expect some people in thirties Germany, or tsarist Russia, or Cuba, or any fascist/socialist/communist country you like to name, thought the same. Until they found themselves in the concentration camps, the gulags, the ''re-education'' camps.

Freedom of speech and freedom of expression are always the first bastions to be assailed by the supremacists, the would be totalitarians, the haters of freedom and liberty, and the small, spiteful, petty, busy body, jumped up little Hitlers who love telling others what to do, and even better, what they **can't** do.

If these ''mouths of Sauron'' have their way, the West will descend into an age of darkness, that may well destroy everything we love, admire, hold dear.
