But...but...Indonesia is 'moderate'!

Indonesia is 'moderate' in that it practices its own brand of Islam which is a more laid back brew compared to the usual poison. That said, there are tens of thousands of wack-jobs and extremists, some of whom will take to the streets and foam at the mouth and generally act in a hysterically violent way about anything and with little or no provocation. Which, of course, is what has happened in Medan (Sumatra) rather than Jakarta (Java - the capitol of nearly 20 million people).

Now in Indonesia a big demo is usually numbers in the tens or even hundreds of thousands. For instance, the last big one in Jakarta (about fuel price subsidies) had over 100,000, according to some. So how many extremists wackos do you think turned up to demonstrate about the film? There were a few hundred outside the US Embassy (which is, believe me, a freakin' fortress!) In Medan, the US Consulate is a bit more vulnerable (which is why they sensibly closed it).

The local jihadi wackos (known as FPI - Front Pembala Islam or Islamic Freedom Front) have actually figured this out and staged a violent demo there BUT with less than 500 turning up. There may have been more in subsequent demos but you get the picture - the vast majority of Indonesians may be pissed off at the film but they couldn't be bothered to get off their butts and go nuts like these FPI douchebags.

In fact, its mostly been a big yawn compared to just about ANY other Muslim country. There were more protesters who were more violent in Sydney, Australia last weekend, than there have been in Indonesia this week. And this is with extremist media sites like Arrahmah, accessed by millions of Muslims in Indonesia, peddling outrage and encouraging them to vent their spleen 'just like Libya'. Oh yeh, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, the radical Imam who gave his blessing to the Bali bombers (currently locked up, hopefully for the rest of his miserable life) gets media interviews in prison and the old goat tells everyone to 'rise up' and create another Libya.

Well, they all took to the streets in their thousands didn't they?... NOT! They just ignored him. The dude's in prison and as big an asshole as he is (and they don't come much bigger) - he is now largely irrelevant, even to other extremists.

Another way of looking at the 'wild rioting' is that the Indonesian authorities have just about had enough of these guys and are quite happy to bust heads if they want to get that shit happening. It will go on for days, it may get worse. Or they may just (eventually) think 'bad idea' and go home or back to their mosques and do their infantile rant and rave about how unfair it all is. Anyone raising a truculent teenager would recognize the attitude!

Unless an angry crowd of 10,000+ takes to the streets in Jakarta - I wouldn't worry about it. What is remarkable about the Indonesian reaction is that, for the largest Muslim nation on earth, the protests have been thus far a compare always seem to be the usual suspects - and most of their fellow Muslims just ignore them!

Except I might add - the police, who outnumbered them 2 or 3 to 1 outside the US Embassy in Jakarta - and who really don't mind busting a few skulls if they try their violent crap on them (bad mistake). Mind you the police will stand by and watch them beat up liberals or non-Muslims, but as soon as they target the police themselves (like they just did in Medan) - look out!

So, why isn't Ban Ki-Moon slamming this ? This isn't freedom of expression, it is **incitement to murder.** Why isn't clinton, or obama, or **any** Western politician, condemning this ? Because it's OK, because this is a **muslim** inciting others to **murder**, because muslims are 'offended' and have 'hurt feelings'. Dear God.

Western governments, elites, are **never** going to do anything about murderous muslims, and insane islam. They are standing by, smirking, and selling our civilisation, ideals, and freedoms down the river. Time to take the power back.

A Case For Insanity

In the brief history of this country there has never been a time when such blatant
and demonstrative hypocrisy has gone un-scrutinized by the educated professionals
charged with bringing the people the truth each day. The very people who hold the
position of public trust, once proudly known as journalists, don’t have the
intestinal fortitude to tell the American people that the liberal horse that they have

and yes, hypocrisy run amok, will soon destroy this country from within and take with
it countless innocent lives while turning anyone who survives into mindless, cruel

I leave but two glaring and un-challenged examples of the pernicious and outrageous
hypocritical elitism for the reader to consider.

The entire left wing mindset known as “Hollywood” and all their like minded minions
would gladly gouge out the eyes of a three week old animal before they would allow
anyone to even suggest that there should be the slightest infringement on someone’s
Constitutional right to print or broadcast the most destructive and demeaning sexual
material known to exist, even when they know that this material will be easily viewed
by very young and innocent minds. To suggest that words and pictures have no effect on
young minds is to believe that TV commercials for toys and breakfast cereal are a
gargantuan waste of money and that toy manufacturers are stupid. There would
be absolutely no restrictions on this behavior, that sometimes includes scenes of bestiality,
if they had their way about it. They would riot in the streets and promote chaos and total
bedlam if you tried to take away their sacred right to pollute the minds of our youth.
BUT……. When a wanna-be Hollywood film maker makes a goofy film that some say
insults Muslims, and talk begins about censoring speech that insults Mohammed, these
very same demented elitists go deafeningly silent.

They will hale the work of an “ARTIST” who places a crucifix upside down in a jar of
his own urine as a great piece of art but when an “Artist” makes a $12.53 film that
insults Mohammed they throw him to the wolves. Make that fanatics, who have already
said that he is a dead man walking.

And you walk around stupefied as to why we hang on to our guns and our religion.
