Oh, the magnificent, hypocritical irony of these two videos posted side by side. Only a mind polluted with and suffused by Islam could possibly exist in both of these two juxtaposed realities.

This latest story and Eltahawy's background experience in the "Arab-Spring, Grass-Roots, Democracy Movement" needs to go viral. The value of this teachable moment is simply too great to be wasted.

Rich, when I read that ad, the stand-alone message that easily comes to my mind is that Pam is asking people to support Israel against the 'savage' Jihadists. Is that message not clear enough?? By now most lay-people have heard the word 'Jihad', and they have heard it coming from the mouths of terrorists, so they automatically know who the ad is referring to when it says 'savage' and 'jihad'

It seems that people like Mona, the Leftists, and Muslims are the only ones upset at this ad, and the only ones reading this ad different than a lay-person would understand it. Please notice that there is one thing common between these Leftists and the 'offended' Muslims- They all hate Israel, and want it defeated and destroyed.
When they read Pamela's ad, they see the word 'savage' being used against themselves, and used in a offensive way. That is why they are upset. They don't want the word savage used against them in a negative way. They want it to be positive eg #ProudSavage

There is NO failing of the ad. Because of these whining #Proudsavage morons, the ad has gotten a hell lot more publicity than it would have if they completely ignored it. Pamela only displayed it at 10 spots in NY, but the media and TV has advertised it millions. Far from being a failure, this is a huge success of the ad.

Well now, let me think on this a moment. Nowhere does the advertisement mention Islam or Muslims. It does mention Jihad. That has Mona all upset claiming an attack on Muslims in the advertisement. Is she not declaring for everybody who is not tone deaf to reality that Islam calls all Muslims to Jihad against those who are not Muslim?

WE are not saying all Muslims. SHE is declaring it. In putting words into our mouths is she showing us a reality we shy away from considering out of politeness?

It's called synecdoche (or, less hifalutin'ly, inference or deduction).

This is not only not the first time this has happened, it is a mainstay staple of the PC MC paradigm to assume this extrapolation. It is hardly a peripheral or tangential reflex spasm on Eltahawy's part, but goes to the heart of the entire PC MC arsenal -- which Muslims have been exploiting for years -- in the war of ideas. (Muslims don't have PC MC, since PC MC is a solidly Western growth: it is utterly foreign to their culture and to their psyches, but they are at least smart enough to see how powerfully conducive it is to their jihad of the pen & tongue -- indeed, it is the head of the West handed to them on a silver platter by the brainless Westerners).

At the very least, the synecdoche alludes directly to the TMOE principle (the Tiny Minority of Extremists). According to PC MC, if anyone at any time in any way pushes the envelope of the TMOE principle even by the slightest implication that there might be a broader problem than a "tiny minority" who are distinguished by an iron-clad wall from the "vast majority" of decent harmless Muslims, then that triggers the alert to suspect bigotry or racism is afoot.

I've noticed countless instances over the years where it doesn't matter if we protest that we are not talking about "all Muslims" -- we are still vilified as though we were.

I say, what's the point in continuing to assure our detractors that we don't mean "all Muslims". Since we cannot tell, with reliability sufficient for our primary purpose of defending our societies, the difference between

1) the deadly Muslims & their enablers,

and

2) the harmless Muslims,

then it doesn't matter if there exist innumerable numbers of #2. It becomes a theoretical hypothetical exercise, like whether a tree falling in the forest really makes a sound or not.

Our more important priority is to protect ourselves, our loved ones, our families, our fellow citizens, our society. We hardly should be fretting anxiously about whether or not we are deemed "racist" by a people whose hearts and minds are deformed by a mediocre ideological fashion (Western PC MCs), much less by a people whose hearts and minds are deformed by a darker, more twisted ideology (all Muslims).

Dear Rich: the more exposure that this video of vandalism by Ms Eltahawy gets, the better for society. The majority of the Americans are getting close to "tipping point" with regard to Islamists and their far leftists partners. When this will happens, I'm not sure, but there will a ground swell support for free speech againt Islam and its theology of subjugation, intimidation and murder.
