Muslim DC Comics superhero suffers terribly from "Islamophobia"

And a charge that seems impervious to Spencer's repeated insistence that it does not apply to him. Which raises the question, why bother insisting it doesn't apply, when the mainstream seems to persist in insisting it does apply? The repeated denials don't seem to be working. Neither with Spencer, nor with Geert Wilders, nor with countless others who dare to criticize Islam. And when even someone as fuzzy and soft on Islam as Daniel Pipes gets routinely smeared with the implied charge that he hates "all Muslims", it seems increasingly chimerical to continue to insist. And this isn't even considering the argument that such a distinction (between objectionable Muslims and unobjectionable Muslims) is untenable to begin with.

DC -- remember in future folks -- it stands for "Dhimmi Comics".

Just a quick reminder that a parasitism, a sort of cultural cannibalism seems to be a trait held in common by both Islamic supremacists and leftists.

One notes that this Simon Baz super-hero is not an import from some orthodox Mohammedan culture -- in fact it couldn't be, given the orthodox Mohammedan prohibitions against representative art and portraiture.

It is a diversion of the concept of the comic book and the reputation and style of DC comics -- the company that first published superman with the slogan "truth, justice and the American way."

Both groups operate largely by hijacking, or subverting the prestige and vocabulary of the culture they wish to dominate or destroy.

There is considerable ancient precedent for this sort of thing, going back to eating a fallen foe, or wearing his gear to absorb his power. There is much scholarly writing on the subject. Well worth looking into is: The Golden Bough: A Study in Magic and Religion -- a wide-ranging, comparative study of mythology and religion, written by Scottish anthropologist Sir James George Frazer

The point is that there is no creative potency at work here. Only the will to destroy and/or steal.

It's not for nothing that today's anarchist movement calls itself "occupy". Their logo should be the disgusting mockingbird. The mockingbird never builds a nest of it's own. It knocks other birds' eggs out of their nest an leaves its own in their place.

This hero bursts out of the front cover pointing a gun directly into the face of the reader.

Yup. In 1994 DC created a jewish superheo, Boogieman, who was PART RAT. He tries to join a multiethnic group of heros by, ahem, LYING ABOUT BEING AN ETHNIC MINORITY. They let him join if he PROMISES NOT TO LIE TO THEM ANYMORE.

Joseph Goebbels would have been impressed.

Let's see--I read _Watchmen_, and that was about the most recent and last graphic novel I've looked at.

Something tells me that this attempt by our Leftist-dominated pop culture to "reach out" will probably be another case of stepping on a rake and having the handle fly up and bop the stepper in the face.

Superhero readers have a keen nose for bullshit. I predict either cancellation or a swift makeover for the Green Lantern title.

As is become increasingly common, the horror of 9/11 is seen as nothing more than an occasion for the spread of "Islamophobia"—the atrocity is meaningless in and of itself.
