"Rise up Islam," "Death to America" -- Iranians protest in front of Swiss embassy in Tehran

"Rise up Islam" -- here again, it is noteworthy how the jihadis and Islamic supremacists all see their conflict with America in Islamic terms, while America itself steadfastly refuses to do so. Clearly U.S. officials want to avoid a situation in which they'd be at war with every Muslim in the world, but the denial and obfuscation about the Islamic roots of the conflict has led to mistaken and ineffectual policy, which in turn leads to disaster. And of course the fog is thicker than ever these days.

(AGI) Tehran - Protest in Tehran against anti-Islam film produced in the US:500 young people demonstrate in front of Swiss Embassy. The Embassy takes care of American interests in Iran; the youth are shouting "Death to America" and speaking out threats to the film's director. Many demonstrators were waving Egyptian and Libyan flags as a sign of solidarity for protests occurring in both countries, which in Benghasi turned into the attack to the US Embassy and the murder of the Ambassador and of three US citizens. The protest was called by the Society of Islamic Students, a university-based group close to Ayatullah Ali Khamenei. In the meantime, influential Iranian Ayatullah Naser Makarem Shirazi urged Muslims across the world to give a "strong response" to all "those belonging to the US and Sionist regimes scheming against Islam" . .

AAccording to Zohreh Soleimani of the BBC, Iran has the lowest mosque attendance of any Muslim country; only 2% of adults attend Friday services, a gauge of disaffection comparable to church attendance in Western Europe. Iran's fertility rate of about 1.6 children per women, coincidentally, is about the same as Western Europe's. Iran has a huge contingent of young people, but they have ceased to have children. They have faith neither in the national religion nor in the future of their nation.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, meanwhile, reports that fully 5% of Iran's adult non-elderly population of 35 million is addicted to opium. Alcoholism also is epidemic, despite the Islamic prohibition on alcoholic beverage, which must be smuggled into the country."

Irans youth may be tired of islam. But evil never gives up power on its own. It must be fought, and defeated. History has shown us this over, and over again.
I believe Edmond Burke said it best. "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing "

This is nothing less than the inevitable. Both Islam and the values of Western thought can be seen as ideological tectonic plates moving towards each other. When the collision occurs, something must give/yield.

So, Which Way, America. The way of the Founders/Framers, or the way of the Islam/EU/USSR/UN model? The idea of centralism was always a false premise. Moving toward a center always means abandoning your founding principles. And Islam NEVER yields but through force' Queensbury Rules don't apply/

America is poised to choose one of two contrasting positions, positions which have found their way into all of our institutions, Congress included.

Do we want freedom FROM government via limited, constitutional government, or do we want total government. There's no middle ground. Madison (Fed. 51) poised the issue. “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government; but experience has taught mankind the necessity of auxiliary precautions.”

Rather than government being dependent on the people, as Madison et alia had hoped, today we witness Obama and his crowd of leftists inverting the Framers’ ideal to the point that the people, and as many as possible, must be made dependent on the government which will then go after the producers (“tax the rich” is their shibboleth) with a vengeance, a taste of which has been given to us beginning on 01/20/09.

A great deal hangs on this election. If BO is re-elected, he will take that as America’s answer as to the question of Which Way.

you are 100% right. I am from Iran and in fact I was just there a month ago for three weeks. Iranians hate islam now and they despise the ayatollahs even more. this 500 people who staged this protest are a bunch of holigans and was orchestrated bu the government. in fact just this morning I called my sister in Teharn to see what the vibe was there like regarding all the attacks on our embassis over there. and she siad arabs are a bunch of animals!!!! as to the drug and alchohol you are correct. it is very bad out there. there is no oppurtunity for iranians there and nothing to do. no jobs, no entertainment etc.. courtesy of Islamists who run our country. remmeber about 70$ of the popuation is under 30! so with thta many people who have nothing to do drug will become rampent.

Is there a way to fight the ignorance of the American electorate regarding Iran? Something that would compensate for the years of the American press not doing its job regarding Islam in general and Shia eschatology in particular? Actually, there is. This paper by Dr. Matthias Küntzel, delivered at Columbia University in 2008, is a serious and comprehensive analysis of the Iranian threat, something the part of the electorate who think is looking for, but has been denied by the pc media.

You know, Western countries are really missing an opportunity here.

If the Mohammedans keep this up, they're simply handing the whole of the West the perfect excuse to ...cut them off. Canada has made a start on this; it's time for everyone else to follow suit.

No more Mohammedan embassies inside dar al harb, from which they may plot and plan.

No more infidel embassies functioning as a potential supply of hostages.

And just imagine if the cutting off of relations with the Ummah was coupled with a sudden cessation of aid and trade.

And if it was also coupled with a complete ban on entry of Mohammedans into the West, from all the countries where the riots and rampaging had taken place; and eviction of non-citizen Mohammedan sojourners from within the West, back to their points of origin.

Quite suddenly the jihad would find itself running onto the rocks.
