I doubt CAIR and Awad would call for calm and not blame all infidels for the actions of one "Criminal".

I wouldn't be too worried, as such, about the above savages. This is what they do as they attempt to drag civilisation back to the 5th century. I am starting to think that a shocking proportion of Muslims actually have a collectivized mentality.

We see time and time again, that any reference to any aspect of Islam is taken as a reference to all Muslims.

So we are seeing people who do not differentiate between the Islam the ideology and Muslims considered as a group. And it is always all Muslims considered as a group.

It's rather striking, this persistent group identity.

And we see it even from people who one would expect to be fairly sophisticated -- in whom it is shocking.

It also seems to express itself in other ways as well. There is a common tendency among Mohammedans commentators discussing world affairs to draw comparisons with and between groups, or comparing the treatment of Muslims with the treatment of Jews or the treatment of Christians.

And those comparisons always seem to refer to large groups of people as monolithic homogeneous single things. No differentiation being made between the group and the individuals making it up.

This is all very bad news.

If so many Mohammedans think in collective rather than individual terms, they are not going to even understand the western conception of individual rights, much less support it.

What is this all about? They want to "compel the West to criminalize our own resistance to Jihad and Islamic supreme-ism" (RS).

And why do they want to do that? I believe it is not because criticism of Islam or the prophet of Islam is offensive to Muslims, as much as they try to say it is. It is because Islam cannot stand the test of critical thinking. Muslims get irate and start blowing things up to protect the strangle hold they have over the Muslim world. By design, Islam is an ideology that requires submission or else. It is the only way it can survive.
