U.S. informs Iran that it will not back Israeli strike; Obama working to curb Israeli offensive against Iran

This is a situation in which the USA would've done best to remain silent and sphinx-like.

As it is now, Obama has given Iran the green light to develop a nuclear weapon. Nobama '012~!

AND still, something like 68% of Jews in America plan to vote for Obama per the latest polling. I find it even MORE shocking that so many Jews are dead set against Israel than I do that Obama (a closet Muslim) wouldn't lift a finger to help Israel.

Why do Jewish people in America continue to fawn over the man who would stand by and see Israel obliterated? It's as if American Jews are cheering on the jihad. It's simply beyond my comprehension.

America the great bowing down before Iran, begging it not to attack it's military bases? This should be the headline of every news outlet in the west!

Such a cowardly display of gutlessness hasn't been seen since Chamberlain came back from meeting Hitler, waving a little piece of paper and declaring "I have brought peace in our time!".

Not only will this not persuade Iran not to attack American military objectives in the gulf, it will encourage it!

This represents the strongest and most obvious message yet when it comes to the Obama Administration's disdain for our only ally and Democratic country in the middle east. Once again Obama has shown his hand when it comes to Israel even though he has made speech after speech announcing his support for Israel.

When it comes to Israel he demands that this little postage stamp sized country among the Muslim countries move back to before the 1967 lines leaving Israel dangerously vulnerable to the ever determined Muslim Countries to destroy Israel.

This again is an example of Obama again leading from behind as well as showing his true colors.

Polls show democrats support Israel 65 Pct.,.Independents 71 Pct,. and Republicans 80 Pct., that's an average 72 percent.

The movie 2016 clearly reflects many of Obama's moves when it comes to protecting Israel.

Obama continues to lead from the left which represents only 20 percent of Americans-- the rest who support his positions are either naive,leftwing ideologues,or part of the nanny dependent class.

Refusing to back another nation in a unilateral military strike that would endanger the lives of your own countries soldiers isn't a betrayal, it's common sense, especially when the said unilateral strike wouldn't deal a crippling blow to the enemy. If Israel attacks Iran unilaterally then the Iranians will launch attacks against US bases in the gulf, killing US soldiers and embroiling you in another war that you can't afford. Obama has to choose between attempting to contain a nuclear Iran or allowing the US to be dragged into another war on his watch, a war that would increase debt, result in thousands of Americans coming home in body bags and worsen the US economy. Despite what people may have you believe, that's not an easy choice to make.

This is supposed to PREVENT a nuclear Iran? Obama's essentially saying Israel is on its own, provided Iran leaves US interests alone. How will this NOT embolden the Iranians?

Obama SHOULD have said, "The US will take no active part in an unilateral Israeli strike, but we will stand by Israel's defense as always".

I loathe Ohama, Islam and its followers BUT this may actually help Israel. Iran can not play its trump card, shutting the Straits of Hormuz. With the flow of oil unimpeded, countries will not so quickly pressure Israel to stop its attack. Saudi is happy to see the Shiites in Iran getting kicked, so it will bluster but not shut down oil supplies. Israel has the firepower to destroy Iran's nuke program and decimate its military.

Just a thought.

All that said, I do believe Obama intends to sink Israel.

This situation with Iran reminds me of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Then we had a lion in the White House. Now we have a pussy.

Is it possible that American Jews might realize that a vote for Obama is a vote for Iran's nuclear program targeting Israel?

What insightful logic.
A virulently anti-Semitic and anti-American genocidal Islamic supremacist regime witth a nuclear bomb poses no significant threat to our countries? Israel, has long ago resolved, that the US will not help her, militarally, nor do they neeed the US militarally. What's more telling is that, a) the announcement was conveyed to Iran and not Israel b) Israel can expect the UK and the rest of her allies, may/will follow suit.

Israel, knows more than ever, that she is truly alone. She also knows that it must act now, thereby keeping it's inevitable warfare with Iran, conventional.

Even with this aberration of an American president stacking the cards against Israel, rest assuered, that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, while this maniac is still in power.

It would not be surprising to learn that Mr. Obama told Iran's President that neither would he do anything about a nuclear attack on Israel by Iran.

Bibi has the safety of Irael as his first responsibility.

In a prior JW article, Joint Cheifs chairman, Gen. Martin Dempsey said, that he didn't want to be "complicit" in an Israeli unilateral attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

The use of the word "complicit", was deliberate, calculated and meant to connote illegality in Israel's certain military action against Iran.

Does this administration really think, that this would in any way matter to Israel? I don't think so. Israel will and can do it alone. They have to!

Niall Ferguson On Why All The Arguments Against An Israeli Attack On Iran Are Bad

One should recall that Mr Ferguson is married to Ayaan Hirsi Ali. He has his own private tutor on the subject of Islam; and Ms Ali has not, I think, been mincing words.

Get hold of your own Islamosavvy Israel-friendly people and organisations.

Get hold of Jose-Maria Aznar and his 'Friends of Israel' initiative; get hold of Magdi Cristiano Allam, author of a book 'Viva Israele' (his visit to Israel was part of the spiritual journey of awakening that took him out of Islam), get hold of 'Anglican Friends of Israel', get hold of every Israel-friendly philosemitic decent sensible Gentile individual, politician, religious leader and organisation that you know of.

And get to work. Be visible, and be loud, and get some serious lobbying going as well.

If someone holds a pro-Israel rally in my hometown - a rally that will unflinchingly identify the 'middle eastern' war against Israel, for what it is: the world-wide Ummah waging Jihad against the Jewish state qua Jewish state (along with waging jihad against Jews worldwide), then **I will come**. Wearing a Star of David.

We need rallies - and lobbying - on behalf of the Jews, and Israel.

To make it clear to *all* western governments that a large segment of Voters view Iranian nukes as a clear and present danger, and are totally in support of the focused (but suitably massive) use of force to turn Iran's main nuke development sites into huge smoking holes in the ground...not just to prevent an atomic Shoah, but *also* for the future benefit of *all* non-Muslims on planet earth. That if Israel tires of waiting for others (who could do it more easily than she) to act, and acts, for fear lest if she wait, it will be too late, we regard this as an action taken for the Common Good of non-Muslim humanity, and that we expect and indeed demand that our governments do everything in their power - whatever that might be, depending on the resources that they have (America can obviously do a lot more than Australia or the Netherlands!) - to back Israel up and make sure that she succeeds.

(It would send something of a message to Islamic Pakistan....).

...And then, of course, we need some rallies and marches and fund-raisers and teach-ins on behalf of the Copts and the Syrian Christians, and on behalf of all non-Muslims in Pakistan. And in Australia, more and bigger rallies and more people speaking up on behalf of the beleaguered and largely-forgotten non-Muslims of Papua, being crushed and abused by Muslim Indonesia...

The Jihad is, of course, waged everywhere against everyone. I could name more and yet more vulnerable groups (the Christians of Northern Nigeria, and the new nation of South Sudan, are also in peril).

But it seems to me that Israel first of all, and then the Copts, and the Assyrians (both in Iraq and Syria), and the Pakistani non-Muslims (whether Christian or Hindu) are in the greatest immediate danger, and could do with some voices raised on their behalf, and some heavy-duty consciousness-raising.

I will come to any rally called on behalf of Israel, and against Jew-hatred of any kind.

I will come to any rally called by the Copts, the Syrians, or by Pakistani non-Muslim expats who wish to call attention to the suffering of their kin still trapped inside the Predator Pits.

A thought.

Rosh Hashanah - September 16-18 - would be a good day for 'We Love Israel; We Appreciate the Gifts of the Jews' Events to take place.

It would also (given the Mohammedan penchant for attacking non-Muslims on their [that is, the non-Muslims'] feast days) be a good time during which philosemitic Gentiles of a religious persuasion might choose to pray with especial focus and fervour for their Jewish fellow-citizens, for the Jews of the whole diaspora, and for Israel - for relief and deliverance; for divine protection and blessing - and for both religious and non-religious Israel-friendly Friends of the Jews to keep a weather eye out for any signs of Mohammedan mayhem. Let's let our Jewish friends and neighbours know we are watching their backs: both spiritually and physically.

The same applies to Yom Kippur (from the evening of 25 September to the evening of 26 September). I will be on holidays then - all going well with my health and the family - but I will write those dates in my diary and I will haul out my book of Psalms and pray with all my heart for my dear Jewish elder brothers and sisters.
