Captain Hook is coming to town

What is astonishing is how hard some people fought to keep this from happening. They showed more solicitude for these bloodthirsty jihadists than Abu Hamza and his comrades ever would have shown for their Infidel victims.

"Abu Hamza to be extradited to US," from the BBC, October 5 (thanks to Paul):

Five suspected terrorists including Abu Hamza al-Masri can be extradited to the US, ending a long legal battle, UK High Court judges have ruled.
The radical cleric, Babar Ahmad, Syed Talha Ahsan, Adel Abdul Bary and Khaled al-Fawwaz failed to show "new and compelling" reasons not to send them.

Their appeal came after the European Court of Human Rights backed successive UK courts in ruling for extradition.

Judges said their extradition "may proceed immediately".

The Home Office has said will try to deport them "as quickly as possible".

Judges Sir John Thomas and Mr Justice Ousley said in their ruling that there was an "overwhelming public interest in the functioning of the extradition system" and that there was "no appeal from our decision".

The written ruling, read out in court, concluded that "each of the claimants' applications for permission to apply for judicial review or for a re-opening of the statutory appeals be dismissed".

"It follows that their extradition to the United States of America may proceed immediately."

Of Abu Hamza, whose lawyers argued he may not be fit to face trial on medical grounds, they said: "The sooner he is put on trial the better".

The judges rejected a plea by Abu Hamza to delay his extradition so he could undergo an MRI brain scan which, his lawyers said, could show he was unfit to plead because of degenerative problems.

The 54-year-old, a former imam at Finsbury Park mosque, north London, was suffering from chronic sleep deprivation and depression as a result of eight years in prison, his lawyers added.

Poor lamb!

The BBC's Dominic Casciani, at the High Court, said the British government had got the result it had wanted to see for eight years.

Not many know that the parrot which Abu Hamza sports on his shoulder nowadays is a replacement for his previous parrot, which was in the habit of blurting out at odd moments -- "Allah wants a cracker! BRAHHH!" and "Polly Akbar! BRAHHH!" and "Mohammed pissed his pants! BRAHHH!"

That parrot now lies at the bottom of the Thames with a broken neck, while Abu's new parrot says nothing but "La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Allah! BRAHHH!"

The European Court of Human Rights deals European freedoms death by a thousand cuts.

This court, taking to itself authority over virtually all European judicial processes, has thrown in the towel after 8 years of a high-profile, expenses-be-damned effort by the British government to get the Hamza piece of scum off its territory.

Lost is the fact that any country protecting its borders and citizens is subject to extensive legal harassment and expense. The high-profile case may be pushed through, but the bureaucracy finds it easier to give in in the thousands of less spectacularly cases involving phony claims for asylum, but not such an easy-to-hate protagonist.

To be safe, European countries should take control over their own internal security, and not even allow their cases to be heard by an extra-national body such as the European Court of Human Rights.

Abu Hamza entered the UK on a student visa to take up a course in civil engineering at Brighton Polytechnic. I've not seen any report that he graduated or was employed as an engineer in any capacity.

For someone who said on BBC Newsnight that Britain was a toilet, Hamza certainly hung out to stay here with both hands - well one hand and a hook actually.

However, we still have his wife and family to house, feed, provide medical care for, educate his brats and pay for security for their safety. Wouldn't the US also like to question his bitch on her part in these conspiracy charges?

I feel so sorry for that poor innocent victim. He's been tortured for eight years. That makes him depressed. He should be depressed, because his hate mongering made so many young Mahoundians terrorists. He's partly responsible for 9/11, too. Good riddance for Europe. But I hope he won't wreak too much havoc in America. Never let him out of prison again and feed him pork every day.

Wikipedia says he lost both hands and an eye in the explosion 'in a mining project'. I suspect it was more to do with incompetent bomb making.

The lack of both hands meant that someone in Long Lartin prison (reported by, I believe, the Sun) had 'the worst job in the world'; taking care Hamza's rear end after toilet visits.

Presumably the same personal care will be required during Hamza's stay in the US. Bet someone's really looking forward to that!

And, on a different subject, let me take this opportunity to point out one of the major differences between UK and US law. We don't have the death penalty. You still do. Just thought I'd mention that...

Actually, there are 17 states of the U.S.A. that don't have the penalty, but the majority, 33, do (including the Government itself, and the U.S. Military).

Interestingly, I just did a little comparison to show how grotesque Muslims are in this regard (as they are in 1,001 other regards):

According to this fact sheet -- http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/documents/FactSheet.pdf -- In the last approximate 35 years (since 1976), the entire U.S. (that's the majority of its states which have the death penalty) have had 1,307 executions. Meanwhile, the Muslim world, just sampling one country under Islamic law -- Saudi Arabia -- about the size of just one state (approximately the size of Texas in dimension and population) of the U.S.'s 50 states -- in the same time period had approximately 2,100 executions. (I averaged it to 60, taking the last three months -- this year 57 with more than two months to go; last month 79, and August 20-something).

This gross disparity in quantity is bad enough; after that, we must factor in the gross (if not grotesquely ghoulish) disparity in quality on two accounts:

1) that the "justice" in Saudi Arabia is depraved on two accounts:

a) unfairly meted out (of that we can be ruthlessly certain)

b) deranged in its fanatical standards (executions for "crimes" like "witchcraft" and "sorcery", just to pick one example of dozens out of a keffiyeh)

2) the executions are Satanically monstrous: beheadings in public after Friday prayers, with a black slave often doing the beheading, and a doctor (probably got studied in Europe or the UK) sewing the head back on afterwards.

Interesting stats! And interesting that the US compiles and makes public such figures, while the Saudi government does not. Amnesty compiles Saudi figures from the media, reports of witnesses, etc. The true Saudi figure could be much higher, and given the basically deceitful nature of Islam, I suspect they are!
