I wonder what thoughts were going through the host's mind? Perhaps he was picturing the young boy as his personal "bacha bazi".

Just because I am denouncing Islam and rejecting it, it means, according to Muslims, that they have the right to persecute me. A religion that truly promotes freedom of thinking! Right?! Just a few weeks ago, a person was imprisoned in my country on the grounds "of being an atheist", because that person dared ask questions about Islam. I am no scholar, I am like millions, who are Muslims because of our surroundings, not by choice. The only difference is I think, I ponder, I ask questions, I doubt, that is how I found this website (FFI). I think the most important thing to know is that a considerable amount of people are Muslim, not because they choose to be, but because they were born in a Muslim community. I was born in a Muslim family, hence became a Muslim, the same way I would’ve been a Christian had I been born in a western country or a Buddhist had I been born in an eastern country, I never chose to be a Muslim. You have to know that we are terrorized into blind believing since childhood. We are terrorized with hell and the abominable descriptions of punishments in the Koran reserved for non-believers or those who don’t fully comply with Islam teachings. I never read the Koran in full or the hadith, just the parts that were imposed at school, and from what I’ve learned by hearsay. This is very dangerous, because the reality is, this is the case with ALOT of Muslims, who just do what they’ve been TOLD and never really sought to learn and understand themselves. But the more I grew up and the more I learned about Islam, the more I got disconnected...

Barbaric Religion

I find the punishments stated in the religion most inhumane and barbaric. If someone steals, you cut off his hand. If someone is accused of adultery, they are stoned... need I say more?

A point regarding adoption. According to Islam, you can take care of a child that is not yours, but you cannot give him your family name, he must maintain his own family name (even if it were made up by the orphanage), supposedly because it is better for him, "psychologically". I completely disagree and find the complete opposite more logic. If you adopt a child and not give him your name, he will always feel like an intruder, that he doesn’t really belong to this family. While if you do give him your name, there’s a chance he could feel a bit normal, that he belongs to this family.

Muslim men love their religion because it gives them absolute power and control over their women. The Koran says it created men and women equally, yet it dictates that one man’s testimony is only matched by two women (apparently because women are emotional, which is a pitiful argument), they do not get equal parts in inheritance.

Islam says women lack "mind and religion", when this was explained to me, it is because when a woman gets her period, she is in pain, so she can’t really focus, hence the "lacking mind/brain" part, plus when she has the period, she is "unpure" thus cannot perform prayer, hence the "lacking religion". Isn’t that just absurd? Didn’t God create and design women to have the period? Then why defame them like that?

If a man catches his wife teaching on him with another man, he has the right to kill her. But if a woman catches her husband cheating on her with another woman, she doesn’t have the right to kill him, because there’s a possibility this woman could be another wife of his (because men are allowed to have up to four wives). What logic is that? (Putting aside that killing is even permissible!!)

And to further prove that Islam is of full of contradictions...
