European Commission calls for resumption of talks to bring rapidly Islamizing Turkey into EU

Admission of Turkey into the EU would be suicide for Europe, as it would allow for a free flow of jihadists from the Middle East into Europe, and would make for a situation in which what is almost certain to be an Islamic state within the next few years would be calling the shots for Europe from Ankara -- because by virtue of its population, the Turks could outvote the Europeans.

Fule is a fool indeed.

"Turkey-EU: Europe wants stalled negotiations to resume," from ANSAmed, October 10 (thanks to Insubria):

(ANSAmed) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 10 - EU Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule expressed hope that Turkey's accession talks would be revived after the European Commission's progress report was released on Wednesday.

''Turkey is a key country for the EU, we have common interests. The European Commission recommends that the negotiations be resumed,'' Fule said. In May, the commissioner was in Ankara as Turkey and the EU officially launched a ''positive agenda'' to put the accession negotiations back on track after years of stagnation.

Turkey and the EU formally began accession negotiations in 2005, but these stalled on Turkey's refusal to recognize Cyprus.

In June, the Turkish foreign ministry announced Turkey will not attend any event presided over by Cyprus, which assumed the European Union presidency a month later.

Another stumbling block was stiff opposition from some member states, including France, with former President Nicolas Sarkozy recommending privileged partnership in lieu of full EU membership. The change of administration in France has not brought a change of policy with it.

''The keys to unblocking the situation are in the hands of both Turkey and the EU. The member states must reflect,'' said Fule. In its report on enlargement, the European Commission expressed concerns on Turkey's human rights record, beginning with the widespread use of anti-terrorism and organized crime laws. ''These lead to violations of the right to liberty and security, the right to fair trial and freedom of expression, of assembly and association,'' the report said.

Also on Wednesday, Fule rejected Turkish allegations that the EU is slack on anti-terrorism cooperation. ''We have taken steps forward on this issue, and we are working with the member states,'' the commissioner said. ''Our cooperation has improved and we have concrete proposals to make: let us now go beyond words.'' (ANSAmed).

*****

"The member states must reflect" is elite EU code-speak for "You will continue to negotiate until Turkey becomes a member." The overall decision has ALREADY BEEN MADE that Turkey will become a member. Only the window-dressing is needed.

This is how all EU treaties have come about. When any country has shown an independent streak and voted NO against the elite-sponsored foregone conclusion, then the mechanics for a new election are at once set into motion. Countries will be required to continuing voting until a YES results. Then, magically no more voting.

One man, one vote, one time.

To the people of Europe, you are forging your own chains of slavery. Your governments are your enemies.

Disgusting. I feel sick.

Disgusting. I feel sick.

This is so stupid it is almost unbelieveable.

What the hell is wrong with the European elites?

That idiot might as well be stretching out his neck for the Turks to chop off his head!

In Denmark we have had a few EU referendums repeated until either the politicians got what they wanted or they finally had to concede defeat. The politicians decide for us, that's what they are elected for, but sometimes to their surprise they find the ordinary citizens deem a matter excellent for a politician ....but not so very much for the ordinary citizen.
To many people it is abhorrent that Turkish Muslims should have any say in the day to day affairs of Europe, but too many politicians live in a world of idealistic make-believe wherein elections and a veneer of democracy and free speech solve everything. They will not and cannot accept that Islam operates on another level.

Fule rejected Turkish allegations that the EU is slack on anti-terrorism cooperation.

The Turks probably are mainly thinking of the Kurds - we have some experience with this in Denmark, there's nothing like your offended Johnny Turk when he's up against someone who was there first - and if the EU really did toughen up on fighting islamic terror there would likely be cries of "bigoted islamophobia".

Is their lust for cheap Turkish labor that urgent?

Flood Europe with Turks to smash European social democracy and drive down wages?

Or bring down any remaining trade barriers so factories in German can close in order to reopen in Anatolia?

It is the greed of the ruling classes that is killing Europe just as it is killing America.

The few aim to crush the many and if in Europe they need to learn Arabic and shout "There is no god but Allah!" to pull it off they will do it.

And the left is so completely head-fucked by nonsense about race and multi-culturalism they are TOTALLY on the wrong side!

Sorry. Factories in Germany.

Erdogan wants the UN to adopt a resolution that would make blasphemy 'a crime against humanity'- For Chrissake!

Looks like the EU won't last long enough for Turkey to reform itself which would be a blessing for all concerned.

..concerns on Turkey's human rights record.... ''These lead to violations of the right to liberty and security, the right to fair trial and freedom of expression, of assembly and association,'' the report said.

Quite normal for the Islamic world!

The fact that in future EU citizens may be subject to these laws - raises more concerns.

And once Turkey becomes a part of the EU how do you control it?

With Sharia incursions into the law and calls for the restoration of the Ottoman Empire - how do we get it to control itself.

Turkey is an extremely ambitious nation - perhaps its aims and objectives are not right for Europe.

European Commission calls for resumption of talks to bring rapidly Islamizing Turkey into EU
......................................

God, the insanity. I had hoped that this bit of suicidal dhimmitude had finally been laid to rest—but there it is again.

And there is even less excuse this time, since Turkey under Erdogan is far more Islamized than it was when these natterings first began.

More:

Admission of Turkey into the EU would be suicide for Europe, as it would allow for a free flow of jihadists from the Middle East into Europe, and would make for a situation in which what is almost certain to be an Islamic state within the next few years would be calling the shots for Europe from Ankara -- because by virtue of its population, the Turks could outvote the Europeans.
......................................

**Yes**. And something that most Westerners are not aware of, that makes this even worse than we would imagine is that Turkey by law considers *all* ethnic Turks citizens of Turkey, even those who have never lived in Turkey.

This means that Europe would not only open herself up to being flooded by Turks—bad enough—but also by Jihadists from the 'Stans and other parts of the former Soviet Union, and even from Western China.

More:

In its report on enlargement, the European Commission expressed concerns on Turkey's human rights record, beginning with the widespread use of anti-terrorism and organized crime laws. ''These lead to violations of the right to liberty and security, the right to fair trial and freedom of expression, of assembly and association,'' the report said.

Also on Wednesday, Fule rejected Turkish allegations that the EU is slack on anti-terrorism cooperation...
......................................

*How insane is this*? The implication here is that the Islamist state of Turkey, which is enabling Jihad, is staunchly "anti-terrorist". What utter madness.

As Steffen Larsen noted, this is a reference to the Kurds, and nothing else. Turkey is fine with Jihad terror, except when it threatens their own power.

Instead, they have a terrible human rights record *precisely because* of the baleful influence of Islam there.

The idea that Turkey can become a part of the EU is simply madness. Instead of improving Turkey, this will drag civilized Europe down into the Islamic slime.

Just like mixing ice cream and dog sh*t—what comes out in the end more closely resembles the latter than the former...

There are no real border controls in Turkey facing the Islamic lands. There are several thousands illegals from Pakistan and Afghanstan travel across the mountains into Turkey.

Bringing Turkey into Europe will wildly increase the illegal human traffic. Europe is already having fits with Greece/Spain and others. Euro zone is on the verge of splitting up had it not been the big bail outs by France and Germany.

Fule cannot fool all people all the time.

"Flood Europe with Turks to smash European social democracy and drive down wages?"- that's redundant.

The jobs are simply not there.

"**Yes**. And something that most Westerners are not aware of, that makes this even worse than we would imagine is that Turkey by law considers *all* ethnic Turks citizens of Turkey, even those who have never lived in Turkey."

Turkish nationality law is based on Jus Sanguinis, so only people with at least one Parent with Turkish citizenship or attempt to apply for Turkish citizenship are considered Turks. There is actually no ethnic component to their law as a 'Turk' is simply defined as a citizen of the Republic. Anyhow, we musn't panic. Even if Turkey is admitted into the EU, the Schengin treaty can still be renegotiated.

The EU will only learn when they're dismantled and rebuilt from scratch, no other way.

But what really worries me here is that Stefan Flühe isn't German, as many here, me included assumed. He's Czech. I wouldn't have expected anything else from the German Islam suckers, but the Czechs are different. They know how to protect their country. I've been twice to the Czech republic, Prague and Pilsen and I can tell you the country is totally different from the rest of the EU. You don't see women with diapers on their heads, no traces of Islam at all. It's Europe as it should be, proud and free. The Czechs don't want Islam, period.

So you have to conclude, that the EU administration only admits commissioners, higher executives whatever, who're pro Islam. To enter the EU sanctuary you have to suck up to Mahoundians, obviously a prerequisite. Flühe evidently acts against his own country's policy, but in accordance with the EU goals. Poor Europe is going down the drain. We desperately need American help.

There is a strong chance that we are putting pressure on Europe to let Turkey into their club - because Turkey is desperate to enter the EU since decades, we are desperate to send troops on the borders of Syria and Turkey's help is vital.

Unfortunately, this will be a very short sighted solution to a very short duration problem. Unfortunately, most politicians are career masters, only interested in short sighted solutions and they cannot see beyond the tip of their noses.

The jobs may not be there, however. .and I say this with a quivering voice. . Slaughtermen are never wanting of work where Muslims are concerned. :-(

Fule is full of it.

I am from Turkey originally. My opinion is that Europe is a lost cause already. If they let Turkey in the demise of Europe will be sooner.

Where I live many muslim woman donot wear the Hijad at all and some only wear it in the Mosque only or on Eid days. So the lack of Hijad in Czech Republic mean nothing at all. Seeing than person wearing than policeman unform doesnot make that person than policeman.

You intended to write: 'Seeing a person wearing a police uniform does not make that person a policeman.'

True! But then one might ask why the person is wearing it, if they are not a policeman. And to take your Hijab example, it might be because they have been forced to wear it. And the source of the force? Islam.

So, we're back to the same old problem, Islam enslaving societies and keeping power by force.

Two simple points:
1. Turkey will always be Islamic, democracy and modern civilization are incompatible with Islam. No matter how people say Turkey is modern and secular, the roots are Islamic and they are growing fast again. Just visit Turkey, and you will know why it is not Europe...

2. Turkey is the Trojan horse of Europe, not only cheap labour but Turkish "Da'wa" intellectuals are migrating to European countries. It can also act as a hub to move the terrorists to European countries and then to USA and everywhere else.

There are always unskilled workers required when a country is developed and the indigenous population is educated, such as Germany. In addition they can undercut the current low paid workers especially in the area of airport luggage checks and transportation, hotel staffer etc etc. There are millions of jobs around any Western country if you are willing to work for next to nothing, NY and Wash are your obvious examples.

Don't think the skilled jobs are at stake, which are limited as you stated, the low paid jobs can invite unemployed Turks into Europe by the mother lode. The overwhelming mass of Muslim immigrants into Europe will induce tri-polarity social structure (sharia, low-paid; skilled) and divided Europe - you can experience majority Muslim enclaves in London demanding Sharia. They already have plenty of left leaning politicians want to have more and more tri-polar Europe. They get elected - they draw lots of bucks for the garbage they dish out in their speeches.

I see Turkey will bring in another lode of high risk problems into Europe that most of these career Eurocrats in Brussels do not have a hope in hell to even imagine. They draw a fat sum salary to make statements like "Turkey into Europe - and Turkey is very important for Europe" without ever qualifying their worthless statements with a single piece of evidence.

The UK Government, for some obscure reason would like Turkey's entry into Europe, and Germany and France will oppose it. If I read some of the material correctly, I think even one country opposing the entry will suffice Turkey will not be allowed into Europe, Greece comes to mind, will oppose such gestures.

"because by virtue of its population, the Turks could outvote the Europeans."
Sorry Robert the above is BS. Compare the population of Turkey to the EU and you'll see that the above is impossible. Also both the European Council and the European Parliament are weighted in favour of smaller countries.

Goodness me. So "defender of islam" lives in the Czech Republic. I was in Prague a couple of years ago, and I noticed Muslims were looked at with utter scorn. Must be hard for DofI to live in such an environment! Has to toe the line, eh?!

lanastalem wrote:

...................................

lanastalem, I had read that before, and always took it to mean that any one of ethnic Turkish *ancestry* could apply for Turkish citizenship. This is only a slight draw now, but if Turkish citizenship became an entré to Europe, things would change quickly.

I may be mistaken, though, and that you are correct that this applies only to people whose mother or father already hold Turkish citizenship. I checked out a few sites such as Wikipedia, and their definition of "Turkishness" was maddeningly vague.

But even if EU membership just applied to those who are already Turkish citizens, we are still talking about adding almost 74 million people—almost entirely Muslims—to the EU's current 500 million.

That would mean that the expanded EU's population would suddenly become almost 8% Turkish—add to that the EU's Muslim population, and the continent would become over 10% Muslim at a stroke.

This would be utterly disastrous.

More:

Anyhow, we musn't panic. Even if Turkey is admitted into the EU, the Schengin treaty can still be renegotiated.
...................................

Under this treaty, most EU members can move freely to any EU country. Turkey might be kept out initially—in fact, they probably would be.

But it would become Turkey's new goal to gain full access to Europe for their Muslim population. As bad as things are now with Muslims crowding into Europe via foolish immigration policies, it would at a stroke become exponentially worse.

It could, in fact, lead to our losing Europe. I don't believe this is any sort of hyperbole.

"DefenderofIslam" wrote:

"DefenderofIslam" had been missing in action here at JW for some time, but apparently the specter of an Islamized Europe got him so excited that he came out of hiding.

What he is saying is that even apparently "secular" or "moderate" Muslims—the sort who don't wear "Hijad"—are still members of the Ummah, and a fifth column in civilized Europe who will show their true colors when the time is right.

More:

Seeing than person wearing than policeman unform doesnot make that person than policeman.
..................................

Now *that's* a frightening analogy. Unless we're taking about an innocent costume party or a movie set, there are in fact few things more terrifyingly dangerous than someone falsely wearing a police uniform.

Just ask some of the victims of Your Black Muslim Bakery in Oakland. As the bakery was in increasing financial straights a couple of years ago, leader Bey turned increasingly to criminality to raise money.

One night Bey and his cohorts pulled over a woman and her daughter on the freeway with a fake police car. They had heard—erroneously, as it turned out—that the woman had won a great deal of money at a church lottery.

These thugs then took the two women to a house in an isolated part of Oakland and proceeded to torture them, beating them and burning them with an iron. The pair were only saved when a *real* Oakland policeman found the abandoned vehicle, took it to be a genuine OPD car, and thought the officer might be in trouble since nothing had been radioed in.

Bey shot at the officer and tried to kill him when he entered the house, before the Muslim thugs panicked and fled the scene.

*This* is the model "DefenderofIslam" chooses to use to describe Muslims in Europe. It may, in fact, be quite apt.

Goodness me. So "defender of islam" lives in the Czech Republic. I was in Prague a couple of years ago, and I noticed Muslims were looked at with utter scorn. Must be hard for DofI to live in such an environment! Has to toe the line, eh?!

I am in the spying bussien than I stop the world from haveing WWIII quite afew time. Muslim women only need to wear the Hijab durning prayer at the mosque, anywhere elso it is up to her to wear it or not to wear it. China have alot of muslim in Southern China since when the Founder of Islam was alife on Earth. In Fact when muslim from China was allow to visit Mecca since 1970's the Muslim of the middle east where stoch at China have Mosque for women only with Women Iman. Than chincee emporous in the 1600's was think about murdering all male muslim in Chine and forceing the moslim women to change they religon. When the muslim hear this thet took action by eductration they women about Islam turning quite afew into religious scholar, they built mosque in the area threaten by non-believe that where for women only with women Iman. That how Islam surive in Southern China. Mao was than communist leader who respected Islam and muslim as they where not as backward as native chinesse religion or as pro-western as christian in china.

"Is their lust for cheap Turkish labor that urgent?"

There is not such a thing as "cheap Turkish labour". All wages in the EU are subjected to "no-discrimination" law and are regulated by the all-powerful trade unions. Whether one is a Turk, a woman, Chinese, Lithuanian or a "native" European one is paid the same.

"Flood Europe with Turks to smash European social democracy and drive down wages?"
"It is the greed of the ruling classes that is killing Europe just as it is killing America."

Beside your touchingly naive understanding of how the labour market in the EU works you also believe in another classical leftist myth, straight from the marxist textbook, that of the "greed of the ruling class". If you had a rudimental knowledge of history of post-WWII Europe you would (well, I hope so) see that the real power wielder is social-democracy and the parties to the left from it.
What transforms, or kills, Europe is not the greed of the rich, but the Left's mad dream of "better" border-less, multikulti world. Bringing Turkey into the EU would further the collapse of the national aspect of Europe, and bloat the EU.
Mind you, Europe and the EU are two very different things

It might be worth mentioning that as well as sharing the disgust of many of her subjects for Hookie Hamza, the Queen of England, seemingly, is *not* enchanted with the idea of Turkey's joining the EU...in which opinion, again, if this *is* her opinion as rumoured, she is as one with many of her subjects and with many other sensible persons in Western Europe.

Re the Queen, on Turkey and the EU, see here:

Frank Gardner, Apologist For, And Victim Of, Muslim Arabs, Blots His BBC Copybook

"Now he's safely back in Great Britain.

"And now, by revealing that the Queen -- by far the best of the Royals -- doesn't much care for the constraints put on British justice by the European Court and wanted the Home Secretary to find something to pin on Abu Hamza so that he could be dealt with properly

-- and this comes after the revelation last year, by someone other than talkative Frank Gardner, that the Queen thought Muslim Turkey should be kept out of the E.U. because, as she sweetly put it, the E.U. is just getting "too big."

In revealing what the Queen thinks, Frank Gardner, who was simply trying to make himself look important, has, without meaning to, done a useful thing..".

Your history is a poor as your grammar. The Muslim horde didn't overrun central Asia and have contact with western China until ol' Mo had already been pushing up daisies—or maybe date trees—for several decades.

The idea that the "Prophet's" companions were rampaging around China spreading Da'wa there by 616 A.D.—six years after Mo was visited in his cave by the "Angel Jibreel"—is just more Islamic bs.

I love you too, Jan.
