Well, that's the nature of Shari'ah. With amputation for petty theft and stonings for premarital sex, Shari'ah is *intended* to be barbaric. Something that moronic Shari'ah apologists in the West should understand, who seem to believe that it can somehow be restricted to Shari'ah finance and "family law".
Of course, even in its somewhat less gaudy forms, Shari'ah is oppressive and profoundly unjust. But all of this eventually leads to blood-letting in the square in front of the Mosque. We can *never* forget that.
