The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He [Muhammad] then ordered to cut [off] their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron, They were put in 'Al-Harra' [literally translated by one source as‘the Hot,’ apparently a hot region] and when they asked for water, no water was given to them." Abu Qilaba said, "Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle ."

3 weeks ago I sent off for a litre of camel urine. Today my package arrived from Mecca. Can't wait to open it! mmm! Well here goes! Down the hatch! Blaarg! This camel urine tastes like piss! What's this? Complimentary camel dung cookies? Munch, munch. Blaarg and blaarg again! These camel dung cookies taste like Shi'ite! Well that's it. I've had enough of this crap! I'm cancelling my Al Jazeera subscription!

This Dr. Zaghlul al-Naggar is quite something. And the very title of his 'Egypt's Committee of Scientific Notions in the Quran' says it all.

I looked him up on Wiki, and there's a book by him titled 'The Geological Concepts of Mountains in the Quran'. Wonderful, and written while he was chair of geology at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, KSA. Makes one wonder how they got any oil up at all.
Apparently his speciality is writing pseudo-scientific books blending the Quran with real objective science, called 'Ijaz Literature'.

The thought of drinking camels urine leaves me cold but I am open minded about the urine containing anti cancer compounds. I believe there has been some study already done on camel milk and camel urine anticancer compounds. Let's wait for the science to tell us. Until then I will stick to beer.

A little cream and sugar might help...Camel urine, or human urine, are antiseptic, and can be used as an emergency measure for flesh wounds, some survival manuals say to pzz on flesh injuries to prevent infection...Drinking it is another story...Camel urine is acidic...The human body does not respond well to a lot of acidic food and drink...A glass of camel urine will cause the body to go into a panic and draw calcium from tissue and bones to neutralize the acid...
Low calcium for years leads to all kinds of spine and bone problems...Years of over acidity also leads to tissue problems...Basically, it is not a good idea to drink it...
