148 victims, family members in Fort Hood jihad shootings sue government, say DoD is avoiding responsibility by calling them "workplace violence" instead of "terrorism"

As I said here, there is abundant evidence that it was a jihad attack. This politically correct misclassification is one of the sorriest elements of Obama's sorry record of denial and obfuscation, and worse, regarding the jihad.

WASHINGTON - On the third anniversary of the Fort Hood rampage, 148 victims and family members are suing the U.S. government and seeking compensation over the attack allegedly carried out by an Army psychiatrist who is awaiting trial.
The shooting at the Army base in Texas killed 13 people and wounded more than two dozen others.

The lawsuit alleging negligence by the government says that the Defence Department is avoiding legal and financial responsibility for the killings by referring to the shootings as "workplace violence" rather than as a terrorist attack.

The group also is suing the estate of Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical U.S.-born Islamic cleric who the victims say inspired the Army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Hasan, to carry out the attack. The two men exchanged emails before the shootings.

Look what the words terror, terrorist, and terrorism have caused.

Such situations, and confusion about the nature of the threat we face, have arisen since our gutless politicians and military leaders first labeled the attacks being waged against us by Muslims as terror; acts of terror and terrorism carried out by the terrorists who cannot be further and properly identified.

And look at the outcomes of its inconsistent use. Richard Reid--the shoe bomber--was charged with eight counts of criminal acts.

To my knowledge, none of the murders committed by Muslims on our soil or in our jurisdiction (including the many attempted murders) have resulted in being charged with "terrorism".

Because terrorism has no legally binding, criminal law definition.

Murder does. Destruction of property does. Injury and maiming do.

Etc.

For the past seven weeks people at every level of our society--from the presidential administration on down--have been arguing, with great sincerity, and straight faces, whether the BenGhazi incident was the result of a mob or of undefinable "terrorists".

I just now heard a news anchor refer to it as "the BenGhazi terror attack".

A "terror" attack?

The government's conclusion that the injuries and murders at Fort Hood was "workplace violence" certainly is an act of politically correct cowardice, but why do so many of us persist in the notion that it actually was an act of terrorism?

Really?

Why aren't we calling it what it really is; an act of mass murder, attempts to murder, and inflicted injuries.

But not an act of terror.

The murders and injuries at Luby's restaurant--not far from Fort Hood's main gate in Killeen-- were every bit as terrifying to the victims, and even more injurious and deadly (20 injured and 24 dead). So would the killer have been labeled a "terrorist"?

I understand what the Fort Hood victims and their families are attempting to do, but I disagree with them; because the Fort Hood incident--without regard to that Muslim's motives--was a criminal act. And he is not on trial for committing "terrorism".

They were not in a war zone. They were not in combat. They were not injured or murdered by "the enemy".

They were injured. And they were murdered.

How about, instead, each of those folks' respective members of congress get together to craft a bill that will provide them all of the benefits they're requesting.

Who would protest or vote against that?

Good, I hope the day comes when people start suing the Government for allowing Muslims to even immigrate to a country, after an Islamic attack that kills people such as the London bombings etc. I'm no lawyer, but if you allow into a country a group (Muslims) whose very teachings encourage them to kil infidels, then you the people who let them in are also partly responsible when the Muslims go ahead & actually do it.

Fort Hood was a terror attack agaisnt our military men and women getting ready to be deployed.

as of 1993, the first attack on the twin tower's, America became a war zone, the whole country is what they want, and them pig dog monkey's will never be rewarded !!!!!!

Sadden to hear you say that,but it's your opinon.

To me;the attacks on the world trade center were an act of war, as is the attack on our consulate that killed 4 Americans.also to note there were Canadian's killed in the 2nd attack on the world trade center. 68 countries had human losses.

Thinking that the attack on Ft Hood, with a pig dog monkey yelling allah ackbar as a work place violance is off the chart's. They were killed so they didn't go to muslimville and fight the enemy.
Did you ever hear two arabs argue, Dog, Pig n Monkey are insult's. No, I'm not an arab, and no, I'm not a racisist.

lastly; The only reason why Fort Hood is not a terrorist attack; It is because the attorney general is a obama's cohort.
