Egypt arrests five Misunderstanders of Islam planning jihad mass murder of British tourists

Islamic supremacism: always a boon to the tourist trade. "British tourists targeted in 'massacre plot' at Egypt beach resort - but police swoop on al-Qaeda terror suspects just in time," by Alex Ward for the Daily Mail, November 2 (thanks to Benedict):

Five terrorists have been caught apparently plotting an attack on British tourists in an Egyptian resort in the lead-up to Christmas.
The suspected jihadists were arrested by Egyptian counter terror police as they collected rocket-propelled grenades, rifles and pistols in an attempt believed to be similar to the Mumbai attacks in India which killed 166 people in November 2008.#

Authorities claimed that the gang planned to attack the ‘softer target of British tourists’ holidaying at the idyllic beachside resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea.

The arrests come after al-Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri called for a new wave of violence, appealing to jihadists around the world to attack and kidnap westerners.

The Daily Mirror quoted a security source saying: ‘There are increasing fears that Zawahiri is demanding more attacks on civilian areas with a focus on Americans and Brits....

Attacks in Egypt have been on the rise since Salafi Islam fundamentalist groups linked to al-Qaeda have grown in Egypt’s Sinai region.

Attacks have been made on UN peacekeepers, Egyptian forces, Israel and a gas pipe to Israel and Jordan.

Tourists have been targeted before by extremists in Egypt during a wave of violence in the 1990s.

Some 62 tourists were massacred by six men disguised as security force staff with knives and automatic guns at an archaeological site across the Nile from Luxor in 1997.

At the time, Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak blamed the British government partly for the attack after the Egyptian terror chiefs responsible were given asylum in the UK.

The Sharm el-Sheikh resort has been targeted before in 2005 when two car bombs went off at the centre of the resort and another in the city’s Old Market while restaurants, cafes and bars were packed, killing 88 people and wounded 150....

It's not a good idea to travel or vacation in a country that has political or religious unrest to the point of violence and murder...
I was surprised to see that the WWE wrestling company sent a wrestling show to Cairo complete with half naked men and nearly nude female diva wrestlers...I have no details on any security problems or any Mahoundian mobs outside...
It seems to have bee successful, but still the company was irresponsible by subjecting the wrestlers and crew to the dangers of jihad...

Oh, good grief. Enough with this "Salafi" business! The problem is not "Salafism", it's Islam! This "Salafi" meme has officially gone viral. And it's just another way of focusing the problem down into a manageable size, the TMOE (the Tiny Minority of Extremists).

Mubarak was correct. England apparently viewed Egyptians as expendable, not considering terror in Egypt to be a sufficient offense to warrant deportation.

The real enemy of the West is the Western governments, who insist on protecting Islam and jihadists in the name of human rights.

Dear Jihad Watch readers:

An Egypt without western tourism monies will hit the Egyptian economy like a bulldozer on eggshells. It will be a disaster. I wonder how many tourists and native Egyptians will lose their lives before the governments of the West and Japan stop the tourist trade?

Without the tourist trade and Western science (archaeologits, etc)and historians staying away from Egypt in droves if this trend continues...

The Egyptian museums filled with pre-Islamic treasures and ancient sites such as the pyramids and the Sphinx will no longer be safe. Their economic need gone.

Does the world really think the pyramids or Sphinx or countless artifacts in Egyptian museums would not be in danger like the Afghan Buddhas! Threats against the pyramids have already been made.

Leave it to Islam to destroy, destroy and destroy more. Also, tourism is a way which bridges are built between nations. It seems as if the Islamadoodles have made up their minds to burn that bridge. Then with deserted and empty tour buses to see pyramids... the destruction of these ancient wonder is certain.
