Federal lawsuit exposes massive fraud and cover-up by Hamas-linked CAIR

The American Freedom Law Center is on the case: "Federal Lawsuit Exposes Massive CAIR Fraud and Cover-up," from the AFLC:

Last Friday, the Law Offices of David Yerushalmi, P.C. and the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed a devastating legal brief supported by hundreds of pages of evidence, asking a federal judge to find the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) liable to five of its former clients for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The legal brief demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that CAIR is a criminal organization that deceptively holds itself out to the public as the nation’s largest Muslim-American civil rights organization.

The brief and supporting evidence were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in two companion cases, Saiyed v. CAIR and Lopez v. CAIR, in which David Yerushalmi is lead counsel. The brief and supporting evidence overwhelmingly demonstrate that CAIR was involved in a massive criminal fraud and cover-up that injured numerous client-victims who had looked to CAIR for legal assistance, yet the CAIR “attorney” allegedly handling their cases was in fact not an attorney.

Yerushalmi, who is also Co-Founder and Senior Counsel of AFLC, commented, “The evidence has long suggested that CAIR is an organization set up by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas to further its aims of stealth Jihad in the United States,” referring to the fact that CAIR was named by the federal government as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial. “According to the facts that are carefully laid out in our legal brief and fully supported by the record evidence,” Yerushalmi explained, “CAIR has engaged in a massive criminal fraud in which numerous CAIR clients have been victimized, and because of the CAIR cover-up many still don’t realize it. The fact that CAIR has victimized Muslims and non-Muslims alike demonstrates that it is only looking out for itself and its ongoing efforts to bilk donors out of millions of dollars of charitable donations thinking they are supporting a legitimate organization.”

Five former clients of CAIR filed the two lawsuits in federal court alleging common law and statutory fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and intentional infliction of emotional distress against CAIR. These two lawsuits followed an earlier lawsuit which had also alleged that CAIR’s fraudulent conduct amounted to racketeering, a federal RICO crime. In that case, the court dismissed the RICO counts, concluding that CAIR’s conduct as alleged was fraudulent but not a technical violation of RICO. The two civil lawsuits were filed by Yerushalmi on January 6, 2010, and because they arise out of the same facts, the cases were consolidated.

The supporting evidence, which was compiled after more than a year and a half of contentious discovery that involved numerous document requests, motions to compel the production of documents that CAIR was concealing, and multiple depositions of high-ranking CAIR officials, shows that Morris Days, the “Resident Attorney” and “Civil Rights Manager” at the now defunct CAIR-MD/VA chapter in Herndon, Virginia, was in fact not an attorney and that he failed to provide legal services for clients who came to CAIR for legal representation. The evidence also shows that CAIR knew of this fraud and purposefully conspired with Days to keep the CAIR clients from discovering that their legal matters were being mishandled or not handled at all. While Yerushalmi and AFLC represent the five plaintiffs in these two lawsuits, three of whom are Muslim Americans, according to CAIR’s internal documents, there were many more victims of the CAIR fraud scheme.

As set forth in the court filings, CAIR knew or should have known that Days was not a lawyer when it hired him. But, like many organizations accused of wrongdoing, things got worse when CAIR officials were confronted with clear evidence of Days’ fraudulent conduct. Rather than come clean and attempt to rectify past wrongs, CAIR conspired with Days to conceal and further the fraud. To this end, CAIR officials purposefully concealed the truth about Days from the clients, law enforcement, and the media. When CAIR did receive calls from irate clients about Days’ failure to provide competent legal services, CAIR fraudulently deceived them about Days’ relationship with CAIR, suggesting that he was never actually employed by CAIR.

Robert Muise, co-counsel in the lawsuit and Co-Founder and Senior Counsel of AFLC, commented: “The overwhelming evidence marshaled in this case will finally put to rest the myth fabricated by CAIR’s PR machine and perpetrated by a complicit media that this is a legitimate Muslim-American civil rights organization. This lawsuit strips away CAIR’s veil of legitimacy.”

Robert wrote, "The legal brief demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that CAIR is a criminal organization that deceptively holds itself out to the public as the nation’s largest Muslim-American civil rights organization." Yes, you know that and I know that, and the judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia may know that, but at the end of the day the Obama Dictatorship will sweep it under the rug and disregard it nonetheless. This has been their MO all along, in spite of the facts. While I am optimistic, I am not holding my breath, and I fear that all of hard work by the Law Offices of David Yerushalmi, P.C. and the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) will have been, in practical terms, in vain.

May I point out a couple of really, really interesting things.

When they want truth, honesty and justice, even Muslims, yes, even Muslims, know that their so-called belief system is full of stupidity and dreck. When they want real freedom, where do they want to come? Well it ain't to South Africa, Mali, Saudi Arabia, or any Muslim country. It's to the United States, and increasingly to Canada.

And when they want real justice, where do they go? To the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC).

I love these acknowledgements, though of course it is infrequently admitted. But hey, actions do speak LOUDER than words. When you have the truth on your side, which includes most significantly the truth of Judeo-Christianity, then you have it all.

So where have these Muslim plaintiffs, former CAIR askers-for-help (with the emphasis on "former") turned for justice? LOL,

Morris Days? Did the clients think he was Morris Dees?

you have a very interesting point here LP. Perhaps those muslims have realized the ideaology of death and the raquet that cair is.
M

And when they want real justice, where do they go? To the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC).

Real justice comes from Allah and the Quran...

If a Mahoundian wins a law suit, it may be a victory, but it is not justice...

CAIR...Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys...

"The fact that CAIR has victimized Muslims" ...STOP!

Okay so how are muslims victimized? Excuse me for pointing this out but muslims victimize everyone else by subscribing to evil islam and then impose it on the world through jihad and by other means of thuggery and intimidation; so I don't feel the least bit sorry for these so-called "muslim victims", not at all. Hilarious that those who victimize others with their evil islamic nonsense might consider themselves victims. Talk about laughable and ironic. How stupid are they and how stupid are we for believing this rot.

With the help of Mr. Yerushalmi's expert legal counsel, I look forward to a CAIRfree society!

Lorenzo, please... you make good points but then ruin your logic with " the truth of Judeo-Christianity"

Here you miss the truth completely; your religion is just as false as Islam, which devalues your statements. All religions are man-made and all are derived from earlier belief systems, all the way back to the Sumerians. Research the history, Lorenzo.

godzaconic, you said,

your religion is just as false as Islam

Different religions have varying degrees of truth. I don't think it is equally true to say that religion and state should be one (as in Islam), versus saying "Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, to God the things that are God's (as in Christianity)."

I don't think it is equally true to say that human beings are merely slaves or servants of the Infinite (Islam), as it is to say that human beings are in the image of the Infinite (Judaism and Christianity).

I don't think Muhammad's statement, "If someone changes his Islamic religion, then kill him," has as much truth behind it as JC's emphasis on love.

You said,

All religions are man-made...

All religions are certainly man-mediated. That's not entirely different from man-made, but neither is it the same. You, just like religious believers, are merely stating your belief about religions. That is all it is when you assert that nothing spiritual is involved in any of the religions. Your mere belief. Do you really believe that all there is in the world is matter? I don't say you have to follow a particular theology or religion. But do you really think there is nothing non-physical in the world at all? Do you think that your "mind" or "spirit" is in fact only your brain, nothing more? If so, isn't it lying if you use expressions like "I think," or "I eat," or "I live"? Shouldn't you consider starting to say something like "brain thinks," or "body lives," or the like?

You said,

all are derived from earlier belief systems, all the way back to the Sumerians. Research the history...
I have researched it. There are profound differences between religions. Since you claim to be a "researcher" of history, you should read, on these questions, some Thomas Cahill. Or try Mircea Eliade's Cosmos and History: The Eternal Return. Or check out The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. Or check out the very brief chapter in Daniel Boorstin's The Creators, where he talks about Islam, and how it differs from the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Even if all religions are a tissue of pure fantasy, you do realize that different fantasies lead to very different social outcomes, right? Separation of religion and state, for example, is implicit in many statements attributed to JC. It took Christians many centuries to understand those statements and how to implement them. But Islamic core texts recognize no such separation. Muhammad became Caesar, in effect. So we see varying degrees of religious tyranny all over the Muslim-majority world. It really makes no sense to fudge differences the way you do.

your religion is just as false as Islam

Islam is the result of a dark and evil fairy tale whispered into the ear of a psychotic Arab, by an incoherent angel named Gabriel......No other religion can claim that...Nor would they want to...

"in the BEGINNING was the WORD, the WORD was GOD and the WORD was WITH GOD." ~ BIBLE - GENESIS 1:1

that is right out of the shoot. NO mention of humans anyplace to cook up some religion from the get-go. they came on the scene later....after the sun,the moon, the stars and air and water and plants and animals.

so BEGINS the JUDEAO-CHRISTIAN religion. human free. "and GOD said......"

Everything was going along just fine until God started talking...What was previously a more or less cosmo scientific explanation of causation, creation, and life establishing itself on the planet, suddenly morphed into a religion when God started talking...And how do we know God talked? Because the ancient writer said so, even though he was not there to hear it...

godzaconic seems to know rather little about histories of different faiths... History is not something that can be picked up by reading merely a book or two. And since you seem to think all can be traced back to a single source (not even close), it begs the question, what was the source for that belief system (that question/argument may sound slightly familiar to you).

Firstly, I feel the need to respond to your reply to LP. On three points:

1. This issue comes up many times due to the Christian's heartfelt obligations and desire to share as their Lord and King instructed. Anyone who has "researched" Christianity would be aware of that as many non-religious persons here are. And by "sharing" is not meant forcing upon threat of death as, say, islam does. No harm came to you or anyone here because Judeo-Christian was written and called "truth." And the Constitution was constructed with these precepts in mind, with the objective of keeping religious freedom free. Inside the Constitution is the idea of equality even before, especially before, the Court and judges. Therefore, the muslim who goes to court to sue other muslims is taking advantage of these which are not incorporated into muslim courts.

2. We come here to see what Mr. Spencer has to tell us in regards to jihad, terrorism, and the anti-jihad. Many feel free to say they are anti-religion of any kind. Some muslims come for various reasons, including to mock Christians and Jews and even non-believers of any religion. The question for you is, "Is it necessary to ridicule the beliefs and faiths of such ones who share their belief while expressing their thoughts on the war against terrorism?"

3. You may find it credible to believe what you find by your "research into history" all the way back to Sumeria which opposes a Divine Source for any belief, while at the same time find it dis-credible to believe in a Divine Source because every thing written or "made" was by man. The question here is: When "research" is carried out, whether in a physical library or online, or asking of an historian face to face, of whom are you inquiring? Are you not then taking the word of men/women that nothing came from a Divine Source? And many believers have also done "research" before, during or after, even all of the above, when making their choice for or against a belief.

One final thought from one human to another: If someone believes and thereby through believing has a "hope" of something better, a "hope and faith" that Someone Most Powerful is watching out for them, why should those who have no such hope try to take the hope away? LP is expressing that hope/faith and hurting no one in doing so. Do the "research.":)

This flagrant evil demonizing of CAIR will upset Allah and his Apostle. You may be sure fire, famine and pestilence is on its way. Convert to Islam now and save yourselves. Remember what delights will await you in Paradise.
