Time for an electronic display that continuously updates. Also that shows the death toll and number of injured.

Allah is never satisfied...No matter how big that number gets, Allah wants more...

Hmmm, something tells me the 40,000 killed in Syria in the past 2 years are not included...

But hey, why report these boring numbers? Are they all "Palestinians" or something? Can Israel be implicated in any way? If not then why should anyone in the world care?

Don't forget to wake us up for Israel's next "massacre", when the "disproportionate" numbers can actually be put to some use!

I just sent this email to the Religion of Peace website that produces that counter:

Hi,

Your list is very important, and I'm glad you show concern about verifying with news sources.

I would like to make one suggestion. I would strongly urge you to integrate into your list the incidents of attacks foiled by our intelligence or others.

If you do not wish to do this, then I would urge you to at least make a list of all foiled attacks as a second list.

To me, if a Muslim tries to mass-murder people, but fails because he is stopped in time -- that should still count, because it was only the sheer luck that stopped him. Is not this list supposed to be, in part, an indicator or barometer of the danger from Muslims? Deadly intent to proceed with an attack, even if foiled at the last minute, is precisely directly relevant to this function of the list, it seems to me.

over on 33 rd street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan a block from Peen Station there is a clock showing our national debt. that clock keeps running higher and higher like there is no tomorrow. we need another clock like that showing the islamist and jihadists acts of terrorism.

The TROP website definitely includes Moslem-on-Moslem attacks. Usually, although not always, when the victims are non-Moslem (Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, ...) that fact is specified.
But it does not seem to include attacks that are part of a civil war -- as in Syria; nor attacks by government forces -- as in the Sudan.
And although the running total of attacks gets the headline, the site also give totals of the number of fatalities for each previous week and month. The fatalities generally average 4.5 to 5.0 per attack, so the 19999 attacks since 9-11 amount to nearly 100,000 fatalities.

Yes, indeed. As miriam rove notes, we need digital signs to keep up with the carnage on a timely basis.

And as Gerard notes, most of these Jihad attacks leave multiple dead and injured. Remember, horrors like the Madrid train bombings, London Tube bombings, Bali, and assault on Mumbai each count as just one attack.

This savagery evens out to over 1800 acts of Jihad every year, over 150 every month, and over five each and every day.

That means that it is statistically likely that we will hit the 20,000 mark *today*.

And as LemonLime notes, this doesn't count all of the plots foiled by intelligence agencies and law enforcement.

God, I hate Islam.

A counter which publishes the number of people killed will be very effective in communicating the impact of Islam on humanity.

Although, I would also prefer a counter which publishes "killed by jihad - killed by malaria" counter also.

A milestone indeed. Well, my congratulations to ALL adult Muslims for this (I spare Muslim children because they have been victims of child abuse, i.e., Islam with its many pathologies being foisted upon them). No exceptions here because, in the final analysis, ALL adult Muslims are responsbile for the travesty which is Islam, even the lazy ones who ordinarily go by the description of "moderate Muslim."

Does the number include terror attacks on Indians (and other non - white peoples), or only on whites?

I have now started compiling evidence that white commentators do not label even attacks like Mumbai 26/11 as terror attacks. I have observed this for many years, but now many Indians are taking note and commenting on it and some are also realizing that the whites in the west are not opposed to terrorism as a principle but express outrage only when the targets of terror attacks are whites.

AJack, I agree that Islam and Malaria have had much the same sort of "contributions" to mankind.

The problem is that these sort of comparisons have often been used to sneeringly *downplay* the Jihad threat.

Here's one typical example, from the one-year anniversary of 9/11:

I goes on to suggest that any real concern about terrorism is pretty much irrational. The term "Jihad" is not used, nor even something like "Islamic extremism"—instead, terrorism is not only considered motiveless, the writers barely acknowledge that it is deliberately caused by humans.

I have read many, many more like it.

Of course, this sort of thing is ridiculous. For one thing, it presupposes that no one is doing anything about highway safety—or malaria—which is hardly the case. But more importantly, it downplays the growing Jihad threat.

It also suppose that—like deaths from malaria or traffic accidents—that Jihad terror will not spike if ignored.

This would be like saying that the attack on Pearl Harbor was no big deal compared to the number of household accidents in 1941—never mind that whole fight against genocidal Fascism thing...

AJack, I realize this sort of thing is *not at all* your intent. But I believe it would similarly muddy the waters—or even appear to posit the Jihad threat as "no big deal".

How dare you call fulfilling the wishes of the Mighty Allah, terrorism. These attacks are events carried out to ensure the wishes of the Mighty Allah reign supreme and the peace of Islam will rule over all the world.
