Hamas and Israel agree to a truce, says "Palestinian" official

No doubt as part of the deal the US taxpayers will be on the hook to make repairs to Gaza and help the death-to-America & Israel Muslims there regroup to shoot thousands of rockets again.

Such a deal!

It's the Middle East "peace" process. Both parties support it. Governor Romney fought conservatives on our national platform committee for the "peace" process; for a Palestinian state in Israel's heartland. So what was the difference between President Hussein Obama and Governor Romney on the jihad?

If you read about the 1948-1949 War of Independence, even as the United Nations pleaded for cease fires, the invading Arabs and their armies essentially told the world to go to hell; they were killing Jews by the thousands. The United Nations backed off. According to the November 1947 United Nations Partition Plan / Resolution, Jerusalem was under UN protection and control but the Arabs were slaughtering and starving-out Jews in Jerusalem so the United Nations did nothing.

After all, it was Jews being killed. Now that Israel is stronger, Jews killing Muslims (even Muslim terrorists) is intolerable.

Of course, there is another way to see this.

What if Israel wanted to deal with Iran's nuclear threat? Wouldn't it be a good idea to deal with Hamas first and subtract one complication from any future equation?

Hamas have fired their rockets, but they have come off a lot worse: terrorist command structures paralyzed, leaders reduced to DNA samples, stocks of weapons zapped, Iron Dome successfully tested, and so on. Naturally, Nasrallah wil have noted the drubbing his jihadist pals have been given.

So, an attack on Iran tomorrow, for example, could be done with few distractions from the psychos just across the border in Gaza.
