I played along with a young and tolerably good-looking Muslima who asked to be my friend on Facebook. And then I waited to see what would happen.
It didn't take long. After a few days of unimportant messages, she told me she knew someone (male) who could explain Islam to me, and she attempted to pass me on to him. So, it was a bit of organized dawah as I thought.

Yum. I love Israeli girls. Especially the ones in the IDF.

While you gentlemen are admiring the IDF *ladies*, let's hear it from the *ladies* who find the *gentlemen* of the IDF to be, in general, rather attractive.

Back in 2006, as Israel went into the fray against Hezbollah, I remember a female friend of mine commenting on some of the pictures she'd seen of the young Israeli soldiers, and saying, 'but they are all so beautiful'. And I said, Yes, an army of Davids.

Of course, the age *I* am at, I look at most of those heartbreakingly beautiful young Davids, Moshes and Joshuas of the IDF with the eyes of a mother whose own beautiful eldest son just turned 22. I think: if the Jihad should ever break out openly in / against Australia, that would be *my* son. And I think of the mothers of those young, young men, and say a prayer for them.
