The child could be "Palestinian" because keep in mind their is no such ethnicity as "Palestinain." Then she could be the daughter of virulently anti-Semitic Westerners who use their children like pawns... hoping them to be future Rachel Corys.

The anti-Israeli movement is so sick and twisted whether its muslim or pro-Arab westerners... they put their children in harm's way by throwing rocks, jumping in front of tanks and confronting armed military personnel. It is a credit to the humanity, discipline and humanity of the Israeli soldier that they don't react to these heinous little monsters.

The Islamists turn their children into suicide bombers and then send scud rockets into Israeli towns and villages in the hopes of killing Jewish children. With this sort of depravity, barbarism and just plane sick minded adults running the Islam-World show... is it any wonder the world is a dangerous place.

As for the media... always their to show how "evil Israelis are" yet absent when muslims commit atrocities against Jews.

I've known very light-skinned, light-eyed, light-haired people from Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, and 'Eretz Yisroel--and the latter were not necessarily Ashkenazi Jews. And, for Miriam Rove's advantage, I've known light Persians, too. Similarly, I've known swarthy Germans and Brits who couldn't find a Roma, Jew, or South Asian in their family trees to save their hides. I've known dark people descending from northern China, and light people from Lingnan [China's Deep South]. I'm a Christian, and hardly a fan of Islamists, or the Muslim religion, but the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is far more complex than some existential battle between Muslims and Kufars. Some of the coverage, here, is grossly slanted, and omits relevant facts. Writing the ethnonym Palestinian in quotes is a pretty naked example of bias, here. Like it, or not, there is a distinct 'Palestinian' ethnic group--just like 'Egyptians,' Syrians,' etc.--and this ethnicity includes a substantial Christian majority. The Israeli government never treated the Christian population of the region particularly well, and this is reflected in the presence of Palestinian Christians in the ranks of Fatah/PLO, and the Ba'athist movement.

Pamella Geller is, unfortunately, injecting her own ethno-religious biases into this issue. Notwithstanding Ms Geller's advertising campaign, The Christian majority in the West does not have any compelling interest in supporting Israel, which is a Jewish, not Christian entity. (There is no such thing as a 'Judeo-Christian' identity.) And most Israelis actually support the creation of a secular, democratic Palestinian state, with 'right of return' off the table, and recognition of Israel as a national entity. And most Israeli Jews do NOT support the building of settlements, nor the ultra-Orthodox fringe that keeps building them, but refuses to serve in the IDF. The problem is Israel's idiotic proportional voting system, which holds the Knesset hostage to wackjobs like Shas. The ultra-Orthodox movement is really the mirror image of the Hamas fruitcakes, and--like Islamism--needs to be eliminated as a political force in the region.

Please don't turn a legitimate criticism of dangerous political movements (Sunni and Shi'a Islamism) into propaganda for the policies of the Israeli government and behaviour of the IDF, which are hardly benevolent, or above criticism. This is not constructive, especially in terms of making your critique of Palestinian Islamism appear to be anything more than Muslim vs Jewish sectarian fighting, which the West's majority Christian population has no stake in. Regardless of what Ms Geller wants people to believe, the West really has no dog in this race, any more than Palestinians and Israeli Jews have a stake in Northern Ireland.

The so-called Palestinian ethnic group is a modern creation. Fakeistinians is the accurate name. They are arabs brought in to be an arab muslim replacement for the jews, who are the 3000yr old owners of that and no other land. The blonde and white appearance of some of these kids may be explained by the Balkan provenance of so many Asia Minor and Levantine Muslims over the centuries derived from both rape and/or abduction of white Balkan Christian women and girls ("sex Slavs" -- though they also included Europeans abducted from all over the Mediterranean as well as northern Europeans who happened to be seafaring at the wrong place & time). One of the most infamous Muslims of the region in modern history, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem al-Husseini who collaborated with Hitler (and who died in the 1970s, his funeral attended solemnly by Arafat, his nephew), looked rather white, and with his red beard could have been a Scotsman. As he enthusiastically took charge of the Yugoslavian S.S. for Hitler, perhaps he did so not only because of his love of Jihad and hatred of Jews, but also for sentimental reasons related to his patria, so to speak.

This explanation can be supplemented by the other theory noted above, that perhaps some of these kids could be children of Leftist activists (some of whom may themselves be married to Muslims and/or flirting with reversion).

Prior to 1948, there were no such people as 'Israelis,' prior to 1776, there were no such people as 'Americans,' etc. Before the Pogroms and Holocaust, 'Jews' were Russians, Germans, etc. How are, say, Walloons different than Frenchmen, or Austrians different than Germans? If you've watched Arrested Development, you remember Gob referring to Colombians as "Mexicans from Colombia." National identity can be argued over, ad nauseum, but the reality is that people who live in this particular geographic area identify themselves as 'Palestinians,' and most people in the international community AND secular Israelis refer to them as such. When you people dispute this, nobody takes you seriously.

Notwithstanding religious and nationalistic rhetoric, there are demographic realities. The bulk of the Palestinian Territory/Gaza is Palestinian. The bulk of Israel is ethnically (not necessarily religiously) Jewish. Neither 'right of return,' nor settlement construction are compatible with this reality. And the only reason the settlements keep being built is Israel's proportional representation system, which turns fringe parties like Shas into kingmakers. Most Israelis do NOT support the construction of settlements in Palestinian territory, nor do they support Haredim avoiding conscription. But Israel's idiotic PR system holds the Knesset hostage to Shas, which are as wacky as their Hamas counterparts. You can see the fatique in these IDF soldiers, who are basically doing the dirty work for religious nutbars (Haredi), while Palestinian children are doing the same for foreign-supported Islamist flakes. Secular Israelis appear to have finally run out of patience with the ultra orthodox, which is a good thing, especially if the Palestinians do the same with the Islamists. While Muslim mass immigration into the West is a problem, and we are dealing with the effects of Islamic terrorism and spreading Salafism, the West really has no dog in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, any more than they have a stake in the Northern Ireland mess. The West is a majority Christian entity, and, notwithstanding the rhetoric of Geller and others, there is no such thing as a 'Judeo-Christian' identity--it's Christian, period. The Israeli government has not been particularly agreeable to CHRISTIAN Palestinians, either, which is why Fatah/PLO and the Ba'athist movement elsewhere had so many Christian members. With Christian Palestinians now getting the shaft from Islamists in Palestine, I see no reason to support the Palestinian Authority, either.

Western Christians, like myself, are fed up with funding this: aid to various kleptocratic Palestinian Authority administrations and a population that volleys rockets at civilians, or aid to Israel--a country which refuses to stop building settlements (along with the 'right of return,' the big stumbling block to peace), sells U.S.-donated weapons to China, falsifies Canadian passports, spies on the U.S., etc. Outside of the Avengelical community, there is not any particular support for Israel, any more than the Palestinian cause. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, over a tiny scrap of dusty land with no natural resources, has zero relevance to the West. It's time to stop writing cheques, and let these people sort their own messes out.

What is being ignored here is the brutal colonialism of Chinese rule--as vicious as what is happening in Tibet--and the fact that the Uighur separatist movement is a Kemalist, secular Turanian nationalist movement. And I've seen condemnations about the NATO war in Kosovo that embarrassingly mirror the rhetoric of Serbian apologists like Michael Parenti. There are plenty of problems with Islamist violence around the globe, and this is a real threat. However, this is not the case in Kosovo, or Xinjiang. If Jihadwatch wants people to take it's (valid) warnings seriously, they should not cry wolf--painting every insurgency in a majority Muslim area as the dawn of a New Caliphate. Stick to reporting about issues that really effect people here, and not a dirty inter-ethnic conflict in some little sand heap.

The PLO and Fatah had a large Christian membership, as did the Ba'athist movement. And, denials aside, the Israeli government was not kind to the Christian population:

Again, Israel's largely conscript IDF is full of people who don't appreciate being forced to defend the settlements of religious nutcases who refuse to serve in the military. Most of the IDF soldiers, like the fellows in this video, do NOT want to fight. And the stateless status quo of Palestine occupied by a costly and unpopular army, guarding tiny religious settlements, isn't sustainable. Most Israelis know this, but the country's PR voting system prevents whatever government that's in power from doing anything about it.

We in the West are writing the cheques, and--if this is to continue--there should be strings attached. Israel has to dump its PR system, and ban religious parties. The PA needs to become a state, and also ban religious political parties. Notwithstanding flaky Biblical arguments, East Jerusalem can't remain in a majority Jewish state. The Palestinians appear to be giving up on their untenable 'right of return' demand, and Israel needs to dismantle the settlements. There needs to be a secular Palestine, with contiguous borders, and no foreign (Syrian, Iranian, Saudi) elements, or Israeli troops. And Israel needs to submit to an audit of its military, scrap its nuclear arsenal, and stop spying on its 'allies.'

If the Israelis and Palestinians can't abide by these terms, we should cut off all financial aid--about U.S.$3B to Israel, and hundreds of millions to the Palestinian Authority, from the U.S. alone, every year. This conflict really has no impact on us, and it's time to stop pretending otherwise.

When is Islam Oppressed?

and you will begin to see that even if the Russians or the Chinese were to treat their 'restive' (they are *always* restive) Muslim minorities with the same scrupulous restraint as Israel has in fact always employed, and if the Serbs had also treated the Albanian Muslims (whose hegira into the Serb heartland of Kosovo was in fact very recent, historically speaking, as recent as the massive influx of Muslims into Mandatory 'Palestine' in the late 19th century, or the massive influx of Muslims from Bangladesh into places like Assam and West Bengal, that is happening now) with similar restraint, the Muslims would *still* cry or have cried 'oppression' and 'persecution' and Jihad would still have happened or be happening.

Territory, anywhere, that is surrendered to Muslims, soon becomes either Infidel-rein, or the remaining Infidels are crushed and reduced to a terrorised and ruthlessly exploited remnant; and then the Ummah pockets its gains, and makes new demands, and the new chunk of seized and Islamised 'turf' becomes the launching-pad from which the 'softening up' raids proceed into the neighbouring as-yet-un-Islamoformed territory.

Jihad will continue from Islamic Kosovo and Bosnia, against the non-Muslim neighbours. Muslims want *all* of the Balkans back under the scimitar; everything that the Ottoman Turkish Muslims once invaded, conquered, ruled...and ruined.

If China were to give Sinkiang to the Muslim Uighur, and withdraw all Han from it, I guarantee the Muslims would not be satisfied; sooner or later Jihad would begin, testing, testing, probing, pushing, from across the newly-drawn border. Muslims want all of China, not just Sinkiang (which was, let us not forget, originally Buddhist, not Muslim).

If India were to hand over all of Jammu and Kashmir to India, and gave Assam and West Bengal to Bangladesh, the Jihad waged against India both from without (from Pakistan and Bangladesh) and from within (emanating from the Muslim 'community' on Indian soil, busily aggressing against their Hindu neighbours, slowly taking over suburb after suburb, district after distrinct) **would not stop**. Muslims want all of India; not just Kashmir.

If Russia allows the most heavily Islamic southern provinces - Chechnya, Tatarstan, etc - to secede and become independent Islamic nations, it will *not* bring an end to jihad terror attacks within the rest of the Federation, nor to jihad terror raids across the newly-established borders. Muslims want *all* of Russia - from St Petersburg to Kamchatka. Because pious Muslims, no matter where they are, want **the world**. Which they believe belongs to them, with everything in it; it is we kuffar who have no right at all, qua kuffar, to our persons, our property, or our lives.

There *is* a Global Jihad going on; it has been going on, on three continents (Asia, Africa and Europe) for 1400 years, unendingly.

In the 18th century, once the Barbary Pirates began attacking the ships of the newly-born USA, it first touched the Americas; and in 1915, when Muslims in Broken Hill in outback Australia sprang a murderous attack on a train full of civilian picnickers, it first touched Australia (though some northern Australian tribes had had bewildering and, I suspect, occasionally bruising encounters with Muslim Makassarese and Buginese who entered their tribal territory in search of trepang and other sea products), and today the Americas and Australia are a field of Jihad as well, especially after the establishment of large - and expanding - colonies of Muslim 'immigrants' there.

*Wherever* there is a large enough Muslim presence - and it does not need to be very large - there *will* be, sooner or later and usually sooner - Jihad, for Islam is the 'religion of domination' [Hassan al Banna: 'Islam is to dominate, and not be dominated'] and simply cannot permanently abide any other position than that of Top Dog. Muslims in *any* non-Muslim land essentially function as a Fifth Column of the Ummah - of the de facto Empire of Islam.
