New York: Convicted jihad mass murder plotter starts singing Qur'an verses in court

"As a Muslim, it is my duty to invite you into this great religion.” And yet it is official U.S. policy that what Adis Medunjanin tried to do has nothing to do with Islam or the Qur'an. And so as government and law enforcement continues willfully blind to the motives and goals of those who are trying to destroy us, it is unlikely that their luck in thwarting their plots will hold forever.

...The Queens man who trained overseas with al Qaeda and plotted a suicide bombing on the city’s crowded subway system sang Koranic verses in open court today as he was sentenced to spend the rest of his miserable life in prison.
Bearded terrorist Adis Medunjanin, 28, broke out in song as he, defense attorney Robert Gottlieb and federal prosecutors stood at the foot of Judge John Gleeson’s bench in Brooklyn federal court.

In fact, Medunjanin wearing a black suit and white dress shirt, announced his intentions to Gleeson.

"I would like to be praising God in Arabic,” he said. "As a Muslim, it is my duty to invite you into this great religion.”

After singing prayers in Arabic, Medunjanin read verses from the Koran in English as his parents, sister and extended family members watched from the gallery.

He then launched into a verbal assault on the US and blasted its foreign policy and overseas wars, condemning torture and mass killings.

"I ask you, what is democracy? What kind of system endorses torture? I ask you, is this really the best system that humanity has ever produced?"...

Gottlieb said Medunjanin was a “happy,” “smart” boy with a “promising” future, but became more religious as he grew older and was disturbed by seeing violence, such as drone strikes, against Muslims in the Mideast....

And which ones might those have been? The one that commands him and his co-religionists to fight us until we feel ourselves subdued? Or to let us feel in them a harshness? Or to strike at our necks?

Note, too, that this creature was brought here as a child to escape ethnic cleansing in Bosnia. Such gratitude!

My post was a specific response to the guy who was convicted of plotting mass murder. It was not directed to anyone else. Inviting someone to join your cult after you just plotted to kill non-members deserves a harsh verbal response.

The esteemed prophet of the Muslims burned alive an innocent Jew - a member of a pastoral tribe - to find loot. And this atrocity is considered by Muslims to be praiseworthy, since everything Muhammed reportedly said and did is to be emulated, as he was, after all, al-insan al-kamil - the Perfect Man, and his acts of violence, hatred, deception, betrayal, robbery, and murder are all Sunna. Oh, and let us not forget that before Kinana's body was cold, Muhammed forcibly married Kinana's new widow, Safiyya, consummating the marriage that very night. So rape of helpless, captive women is also Sunna.

The one thing that has disturbed me about terrorist being imprisoned here in the U.S. is not knowing if these people are allowed among the other inmates. If they are, how many are spreading their hate in there? Are these people being released after serving their time coming out here to starta jihad? Or, are they seperated from the general population for fear they would be killed. Does anyone know who may be in law enforcement or a prison guard? I'm very curious about this. I'd appreciate it if anyone knows to let the other commentors know. Thanks.

I thought singing was haram...Didn't Mahound say that anyone listening to a songstress would have melted lead poured into their ears? Of course Adis is not a songstress, so maybe his singing doesn't count...Usually when a prisoner says , 'I'll sing, 'I'll sing', it means he's ready to confess...
