I like that "mocks interfaith dialogue as selling out" part -- in a way diametrically mirroring (if that's not a redundant metaphor) the opinion of that New York poet (what, another Basquiatish poseur?).

I.e., "interfaith dialogue" these days is exclusively reserved for Potemkin-village displays (sometimes going town to town Elmer-Gantry-wise, with a traveling troupe of Priest/Rabbi/Islamic Cleric) to demonstrate that Islam is just one of three "Abrahamic" faiths and that it's alternatively as wonderful as sliced cheese, or (to remind the guillbly white suburban audience of its white Western shame) no worse -- if not better -- than what Christians have done in their shameful past.

As an American Indian I get very tired of present day Islamadoodles linking their imagined victimology to the treatment of of Native Indian tribes of yesteryear.

This isn't the first time that I've heard of Islamists trying to link the past mistreatment of American Indians to an Islamic agenda. I have also encountered it personally myself on a number of times.

When I was a college student there were Islamist or Islamist sympathizer professors when encountering an American Indian student would link the Palestine issue as "poor Arabs" in a "reservation style situation" caused by "evil Israelis (ie "racist" Jews). These anti-Semites would then be surprised as very few of the American Indian students agreed with that line of crap.

There are many American Indian people who support the state of Israel's right to exist and are "rooting" for this tiny beleagured nation.

However, there are still ominous things going on with different tribes and Islamists. Are JW readers aware that the Islamic nation of Turkey "courts" American Indian tribes in the hopes of getting access to reservation and tribal lands natural resources? The problem with this is that Turkey is continuing to lose its secular status and is becoming more radicalized as time goes by.

Its not just Native people in the USA. Its happening in Canada, Latin America and in Oceania. In tiny New Zealand- thousands of native Maori people have converted to Islam and getting a Maori to convert is highly sought after by New Zealand Islamadoodles.

Also, Islamists are speaking more and more vocally that "they" (muslims) are "indigenous" peoples in the USA.

Really? Are the Native Indians or Hawaiians? Are they Metis, Eskimo/Inuit or Chamorro (US territory of Guam natives)? NO! However, I have heard Islamists spreading more and more a revised history which portrays the muslims as "native peoples" with some crap about secret muslims being amongst the Columbus and other early explorering expeditions; that early settlers to America's colonies were also secret muslims, that early US presidents were happy that muslims were in early America and welcomed them into the White House with open arms, and how Islamist prophets were in pre Columbian America spreading the word about Mohammed (in a "Mormon style retro-active history.")

Apparently ancient American Indian sites give all sorts of "clues" about "past Islamic presence" in the Americas. As someone who has been to numerous American Indian sites- I personally see lots of evidence of Cherokee, Shawnee, Miami, Mississippian, Sioux, etc, etc Indian cultures of past and present.

Don't see any ruins of mosques. However, this doesn't seem to stop the spread of this "Islam is indigenous to America" line of BS.

Sorry, getting off my soap-box JW readers. Just got annoyed with that hateful nasty woman being wined and dined at the White House and invoking the American Indian experience as a way to get sympathy to non-existent "Islamaphobia."

P.S. Hey any Aussie JW readers... are the Muslims trying to "snag" the Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander peoples to convert in Australia as they are going after American Indians, Canadian First Nations and New Zealand Maori? Just curious to see if it is also happening to Aussie Native People.

I seem to recall that years ago, when he was still thinking of revolutionizing the globe, the late unlamented Moammar ibn Harpo-or-Chico Qaddafi used to claim that the American Indians were really Muslim Libyans. I've also heard about how various Leftist movements in Latin America liked to use the Indigenous peoples as cannon fodder--although it seemed to have backfired in coastal Nicaragua once the Sandinistas took power. Come to think of it, back when I was a college kid (Sillier 'Seventies), the NOI (admittedly not the serious Islamic threat) used to peddle a kind of racial myth-spinning, too.

Finding out anyone who may have a grievance and recruiting him has been a strategy as old as Absolom ben David's revolt against his father (II Samuel 15:1-6).

Well, re Arjay's comment about how he doesn't like the kind of BS of which he rightly complains, this is one reason why I'm fed up with the whole direction American culture is going. For my whole adult life, I've had a passion for history, theology, and languages, thought that being a teacher would be a way to give it back, but I find that the curricula I'm supposed to teach tend to foster the mindset that makes the "BS" of which Arjay gripes seem plausible. Hence, I sometimes unhappily introduce myself as a professional swindler of the young.

Yes, there's a lot of injustice an violence in the rise of Western civilization, but I for one think that the spirit of the Gospel of Christ has been an important element that has trained us to try to confront and remedy them. Islam, with its denial of the doctrine of original sin and its easy morals (for men; not for women), like socialism's glorification of envy and covetousness, is tailor-made to foster a mindset that plunders and feels self-righteous about it.

So, let's see here: "Zionism is creepy..." As opposed to female mutilation, wholesale slaughter among their own people, beheadings of family members, raping (oops, I mean marrying) pre-pubescent girls, mass genocide, acts of war upon the United States. These things are perfectly normal and acceptable, but "Zionism is creepy"? What a clown.

One would think that a religion like Islam that allows for the beating of women, female genital mutilation as well as teaching children to blow themselves up would be a better definition of this kind of a word.
