Godffery [sic] Ngumi, senior lecturer at the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Kenya's Kenyatta University, said recent converts can be "easily manipulated" because they "know very little about their new religion."

How much you wanna bet Ngumi is one of those Christians who should know better and who should thus be ashamed for carrying water for wicked, grotesquely deadly Muslims?

Converting Kenyan Christians to Islam, the "little knowledge way":

"Okay. Ready? Right; you face Mecca, say the shahada, and that's it. Now you can go and blow up your old friends in the church."

This bit is gut-churningly ugly (and also very typical of Islam; for deceit, camouflage and betrayal are its middle name):

Whether of Hindu (remember that lad in Canada, born to HIndu parents, who converted to Islam and became part of the 'Toronto 18' Jihad plot?) or Christian or animist or secular western background, those who become Muslims so very often turn round and (sometimes concealing their change of allegiance, the better to do so) mass-murderously attack their former co-religionists.

Does anyone know of any instance of an ex-Muslim doing *that*? Pretending that they're still a Muslim, and strolling into the mosque, and then detonating a bomb or throwing a grenade amongst the people there present? (Of course, Muslims of one stripe have *also* been known to do this to *fellow-Muslims* whom they have decided are insufficiently Islamic...).

There may well be ex-Muslims who have volunteered to undertake the very dangerous undercover task of *surveilling* what is going on inside mosques, islamic schools, etc, and reporting back to non-Muslim Authorities.

There are plenty who - like Nonie Darwish, or Ayaan Hirsi Ali, or Wafa Sultan, or Ibn Warraq - are frantically 'blowing the whistle' on all the myriad nasty aspects of Islam, attempting to 'wake up' Islam's intended victims.

But I don't think there are any who would just stroll into a mosque - dressed as a Muslim - and open fire or let off a bomb.

Actually, I would say, the real problem is a step back from that point: **how much did they know about, how well were they been instructed in, how confident were they within their FIRST religion, Christianity**?

Islam is 'picking off' the weaker brethren in the flock (those who are weaker in faith, weaker morally, and less well taught). The only way to stymy that longterm is to strengthen people up.

Call in the Bible Society and Scripture Union and put a much bigger emphasis on catechesis: systematic instruction of the young in *what Christians believe*, in faith and practice. Catholics can get people into Lectio Divina. There's a project called 'Faith Comes By Hearing' that has already had some great results in various African countries as well as in the rest of the world;

if that were got going in every church and every parish school, I think the conversions to Islam would be a lot fewer, because people who know - truly know - the key tenets of their own faith, their own God, who *know* Christ, who *know* Christian history, are not going to fall for Mohammedan BS. And show the 'Jesus' film in every school and every parish church.

Further: *all* the Christian churches in Africa, or at the very least, *every Bible school and seminary and theological college* need Mark Durie's books - 'Revelation? Do We Worship the Same God? Jesus, God, Holy Spirit in Christianity and Islam' , and 'The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude and Freedom', plus a couple of Mr Spencer's books (I'd recommend Truth About Muhammad), and maybe Trifkovic's 'The Sword of the Prophet'; and every single parish church in Africa needs the Barnabas Fund booklets about Islam, preferably translated into the local vernacular...and read aloud on community radio, for the benefit of all who can't read.

In East Africa - Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya - English is the official language. But these materials - and I'd include Durie's book, 'Revelation', because it is brief, clear, and eminently usable as a 'teaching text' - also need to go into languages like Swahili.

Not sure how to get that happening. We've got a massive uphill battle to counter Muslim disinformation in our *own* countries.

But at the very least, I'd advise concerned Christians to support Barnabas Fund - since they *do* teach people the facts about how Islam and Christianity differ radically from one another, and have a strong emphasis on building up Christians so they can resist Muslim da'wa - and Muslim persecution - and the Bible Society's ongoing work of translation and distribution of Christian scripture, and Scripture Union, and the 'Faith Comes By Hearing ' project. And the 'Jesus Film' project.

Because, to repeat, those who *know* - **really know** - their faith, who are firmly grounded within it, will be less likely to fall for Mohammedan BS.

It reminds me of the cults of the '70's, where new recruits were told to steal all the cash in their parents' house, and their credit cards, before lighting out for the ashram.
But this is a whole order of magnitude more evil; the kids then were never made to kill people.
